This is such a great backpack! It’s is sturdy and holds a lot. I like all the separate compartments to keep all my stuff organized, and the handy laptop slot that keeps my laptop secure when in transit. The straps are comfortable and it looks great. Very happy with this purchase.

I have used an old Targus briefcase style laptop case for years, and it provided excellent protection for my laptop. I dropped it from knee level or knocked it over numerous times and the 360 Degrees of padded computer protection never let me down. I bought other types of Targus accessories because I thought the laptop case we well-made and a good value. I needed something with more storage and my first choice was Targus based on past experience. I decided to get a laptop backpack. I learned the hard way this backpack provides no side protection. The bottom of the backpack is padded and provides protection but the sides are not padded at all. This is a complete design fail for any product that claims to protect an electronic device. I am very disappointed in Targus for completely letting me down after being a loyal customer for years. I was holding the backpack by the strap on the top and it slipped out of my hand. It did not fall further than knee level and it fell into grass. There was no damage to the part of the laptop that was on the padded bottom of the backpack. But the left rear corner of the laptop was damage because there is absolutely to side padding! The keyboard bezel, keyboard cover, display bezel, and display cover were all damaged because this backpack offers no side protection! According to an HP Authorized Service Center, the damage is between $300-400 I am including a picture of the damage. If a representative from Targus monitors these reviews I would be very interested in hearing from you about this. As evidenced from the damage to my laptop your backpack should offer some lateral protection. The padded bottom did an excellent job, the unpadded side did nothing and this is unacceptable for a protective covering. I would really like to hear from Targus or someone about this. By the way, I tried to get a quote from Geek Squad for repair and was given so much conflicting information, I gave up and went somewhere else.

Backpack is amazing for the price. Held everything, fit under the seat in an airplane and still light enough to carry without an issue. Wish it had a waist strap but what do you want for the price. Unbeatable.

If you are looking for everyday backpack for any occasion this is your choice. Targus offers good quality and comfort for excellent price. You will not find better backpack in this price range. BestBuy sells it in nice black color, it will goes with any outfit. You won’t beat fancy backpack with these Targus product but you will save a lot of money and be happy 

This is an excellent backpack! It is very heavy duty. I bought the last one during a Black Friday shopping trip. I wish they had more. However, we use the bag to transport our gaming system from place to place. It has been handled very harshly, but stays in one piece. There are a lot of pockets and space to put things in this bag.

Fits my laptop perfectly, great color weight and size along with being extremally comfortable.

I was looking for a laptop backpack for travel. Something sturdy enough to go through airport security check, luggage handling, etc. This backpack has padded compartment for laptop and is roomy enough to hold other personal items. I particularly like the color and the material, not fancy but durable.

Excellent quality product with great price you can ever find

I got this on Black Friday for $9.99. This will be good for a tablet or small laptop with a charger and a few smaller stuff. Inside the front administrative area is lined and seams seal-stitched and shows no lose threadings. The pack seems to be able to withstand a light drizzle. Inside the main carrier, there is a mesh laptop sleeve that can be secured with a velcro strap. The back AND bottom of the pack is adequately padded, but I'd still be careful when you set this down. There is adequate space to hold stuff in. I haven't used the bag that much, so far it holds. I do feel the straps will be the failure point so don't stuff it too the brim. I think it's just meant for a laptop and a few light-carry items. Ok to get this on a sale price, but there are better bags out there for $30++. Four stars for the a good bag for $10. One star of for the flimsy straps. Would I recommend it with the high rating? Sadly, no. There are better durable bags out there for the full retail price.

Works great for carrying my laptop through airport security. It has plenty of pockets for stowing laptop and phone chargers and accessories. It could use a little more padding on the straps but its not too bad. Its inexpensive enough that I won't feel bad about replacing it when it gets worn.

I find the Targus Computer Backpack very comfortable. The size is perfect for meas a female. the weight with my computer and notebook inside is well disttributed. Believe me this item has plenty of space for all your essentials.

The backpack has a laptop pocket attached to the back and has a lot of pockets inside. Definitely can fit everything for your laptop and a couple of books. Great for college and high school students. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good priced backpack for laptops

I was in need of a basic backpack style computer bag that will hold my 15.6 inch laptop and accessories. Nothing fancy about the backpack but very durable and incognito if you don't want the world to know you have a computer inside. Buy It Already........

Found this bag while shopping Dealnews site. I'd been looking around for a small backpack to carry a laptop or tablet along with a few other things to work and back. Purchased form the Best Buy site with no problems. It arrived when promised. So far so good.
