This is such a great backpack! It’s is sturdy and holds a lot. I like all the separate compartments to keep all my stuff organized, and the handy laptop slot that keeps my laptop secure when in transit. The straps are comfortable and it looks great. Very happy with this purchase.

I have used an old Targus briefcase style laptop case for years, and it provided excellent protection for my laptop. I dropped it from knee level or knocked it over numerous times and the 360 Degrees of padded computer protection never let me down. I bought other types of Targus accessories because I thought the laptop case we well-made and a good value. I needed something with more storage and my first choice was Targus based on past experience. I decided to get a laptop backpack. I learned the hard way this backpack provides no side protection. The bottom of the backpack is padded and provides protection but the sides are not padded at all. This is a complete design fail for any product that claims to protect an electronic device. I am very disappointed in Targus for completely letting me down after being a loyal customer for years. I was holding the backpack by the strap on the top and it slipped out of my hand. It did not fall further than knee level and it fell into grass. There was no damage to the part of the laptop that was on the padded bottom of the backpack. But the left rear corner of the laptop was damage because there is absolutely to side padding! The keyboard bezel, keyboard cover, display bezel, and display cover were all damaged because this backpack offers no side protection! According to an HP Authorized Service Center, the damage is between $300-400 I am including a picture of the damage. If a representative from Targus monitors these reviews I would be very interested in hearing from you about this. As evidenced from the damage to my laptop your backpack should offer some lateral protection. The padded bottom did an excellent job, the unpadded side did nothing and this is unacceptable for a protective covering. I would really like to hear from Targus or someone about this. By the way, I tried to get a quote from Geek Squad for repair and was given so much conflicting information, I gave up and went somewhere else.

The bag is of excellent quality. The brand name is in black, so it is subtle, I don't feel like a walking billboard for Targus. The padding for the laptop is great, and the laptop does not touch the floor. The bag looks compact, but actually has a lot of space for books and other material. Plenty of compartments for miscellaneous stuff, and the outer zipper-pocket is large enough to take a power adapter and some more cables. Zippers are of excellent quality, and 2 side mesh-pockets can hold keys, water-bottle etc. Overall, an excellent value for money.

So far this backpack is awesome. It is very spacious it can fit A LOT of stuff if you have the back to bear the weight. I love the separate compartment for the iPad that makes it easy to access and a separate cushioned compartment for the laptop. I like this bag because it is not riddled with flashy colors and tags. It is a plain black, waterproof backpack that can fit a lot of stuff. I like it a lot.

I find the Targus Computer Backpack very comfortable. The size is perfect for meas a female. the weight with my computer and notebook inside is well disttributed. Believe me this item has plenty of space for all your essentials.

I got this on Black Friday for $9.99. This will be good for a tablet or small laptop with a charger and a few smaller stuff. Inside the front administrative area is lined and seams seal-stitched and shows no lose threadings. The pack seems to be able to withstand a light drizzle. Inside the main carrier, there is a mesh laptop sleeve that can be secured with a velcro strap. The back AND bottom of the pack is adequately padded, but I'd still be careful when you set this down. There is adequate space to hold stuff in. I haven't used the bag that much, so far it holds. I do feel the straps will be the failure point so don't stuff it too the brim. I think it's just meant for a laptop and a few light-carry items. Ok to get this on a sale price, but there are better bags out there for $30++. Four stars for the a good bag for $10. One star of for the flimsy straps. Would I recommend it with the high rating? Sadly, no. There are better durable bags out there for the full retail price.

Love it! My laptop fits perfectly and there is room for accessories and many personal items. There are several storage pockets and a place for a water bottle. This backpack is comfortable and can be used for anything,

The perfect backpack. Compact but fits my 13in macbook in the tech pocket and fits my binders as well. I don't have any college textbooks so I don't know how many of those would fit. Really sleek!

This bag is great. It has a countless number of zippered compartments including a separate area to transport your iPad and another padded compartment to store a laptop. There is plenty of room in this bag. I am also pleased that it is not fancy in that there are no bright colors that would make having a grown woman carrying a bookbag look juvenile. It is plain black, no pomp and circumstance. It also can pack a lot of weight which is countered by the exceptionally comfortable shoulder straps which are wide and somehow enables the weight of the back to be evenly distributed so you are not leaning in any particular direction to counter the weight. I am in a graduate program and have to cart around multiple articles and books and this bag makes it so much easier.

Its a nice product from Targus and takes load including your laptop. Has multiple pockets for laptop and accessories. Lightweight and strong woven fabric. Good for daily use!

I like this backpack that I have purchased at $10 for school during Black Friday 2012.The black color, the appearance and the brand Targus made my amazing purchase experience a success. The backpack offers enough space for my laptop,my Ipad and my Textbooks and Nursing classes supplies. It can contain my heavy materials. I am so glad with this purchase cheaper at BestBuy than any other retailers even Walmart where it was more expensive. The free shipping home was amazing. Thank you BestBuy

Bag is really light weight. It has protection for laptop. My 15.6" laptop easily fits in. Highly comfortable bag. Very good design.

I got this bag when it was on sale for Black Friday. While everyone was trying to get tv's and electronics, I went straight for this bag. I needed a new one and I am grateful that I found this one in the advertisement. It's strong and has enough pockets and space for all of your stuff especially your latop in my case it's my Macbook Pro. Treat yourself to something nice and this would be the best bag that you ever purchased.

Lightweight and just enough for my laptop, charger and accessories I carry around. Quality is pretty good for the $10 price.
