It works better for big gaming laptops with large profiles. I initially got it for my girlfriends small notebook, but it it stuck out and covered part of the screen. But it works fine on my gaming one.

Does exactly what you need it to! I love that it’s discreet & love that you don’t have to take it off, you can just slide the little window piece to the side if you have to use the webcam!

I love these things! My ex has been spying on me since 2019’. These are placed where the lenses are on your device and you open them only when you want to take a picture or video. They stick well and quite convenient.

Glad I got it but it is to long for my HP gaming laptop webcam and hangs off but fits my other laptops

The spy guard is a great investment and I would recommend this item.

Great product, didn’t even realize it came with three of them!

It is easily installed, keep you secure that anyone will spy you, when you are working in your computer. Totally mechanical therefore easy to use.

This is good for people who are paranoid of technology and people using it to spy on them. The slide bar makes it so I can be seen on Zoom meetings (or not!) and it provides a sense of comfort knowing a hacker can’t just look in whenever they want

I bought the three pack webcam cover and was not thrilled that it came in three colors, White, Black and Gray. After attaching each one to different devices, I am not at all unhappy with the three colors. The covers do what is expected, covering the webcam easily and appropriatey.

Great for privacy. Easy set up. Provide a since of privacy.

Decent price since there are 3. Luckily we have 3 pcs with webcams. If only neesing one the price is a bit high for a simple plastic cover. Havent had long but so far the adhesive is holding well. The black and gray (silver) blend well with laptop colors. I dont have a white one so it stands out above the others. Previously thought they were silly and not needed but since discovering many apps and programs that can turn on the cams I feel more secure having them covered when not in use. Now to find something similar for cellphones!!

Simple design to cover the built in webcam on your laptop. It is aesthetically more pleasing than putting a piece of blue tape or another dark color tape to cover the camera lens to prevent unintended viewing. With so many Zoom and virtual meetings that occur, it’s an easy way to block people from viewing you and your surroundings if your camera is on when you don’t think it’s on.

I bought these to cover my webcam on my monitor. I used to have a post-it note but it kept falling off. Once attached it is easy to slide open and closed. I did have mont it upside down so the microphone would not be blocked, which was no problem to do.

Feels silly to review such a tiny product but here we are. My wife purchased this for her laptop to get rid of the eyesore version she made by cutting up a posted note + tape. Laptop closes completely. Good deal considering it brings 3 of them in the package.

Like many good products, the simplicity of the design is its best feature. It certainly works well and I was pleasantly suprised to see two in the pack when it appeared to be only one. That's the good news. Thebad news is while it works well on some of my law office laptops it is worthless on the one I most ue where the glass extends to the very top edge of monitor. This product does NOT stick to glass. If you have plastic edge around your laptop, get this now. If you'r monitor is 100% glass keep your money in your pocket.

Works good so far. it holds on tight and doesn't interfere with closing the lid of my computer.

i have always had that thought in the back of my mind and im sure most of you have too. whos watching? that hole is creepy you have to admit. but its not all a conspiracy. theres alot of evidence and leakers whove admitted that people can hack into your devices. i originally saw a similar product like this on shark tank. it clipped over the camera and it caused your laptops lid to create a gap. which isnt good for the hinges. on tablets it works but it can fall off if you hit it by accident. and so targus has created the best of both worlds. it sticks on via 3m tape and is easily removable. ive had it on my computer for a month now and its stuck on there good. it has a little door that opens and closes without effort and it comes multicolored. originally it was 20-25 which is too much in my opinion but you can snag one online for 5 bucks which is a steal!

I absolutely love the sliding mechanism of the camera cover. I like the extra layer of feeling that I’m safe to use my computer just about anywhere without accidentally having my camera rolling in the background and having an unexpected audience! Hah! Comes in a three pack for all your electronics or to share with those friends of yours, you know who they are!

Does what I need it to do. I originally purchased a different guard online but they weren’t wide enough, so I went to Best Buy for convenience. Luckily, I bought the last pack in stock. The first cover I took out of the package was broken. I had trouble removing the paper backing off the adhesive on the 2nd guard, and ended up removing the adhesive too, rendering it unusable. I carefully took the 3rd guard out of the package, struggled removing the paper backing, and successfully placed it over my webcam. It’s on there, but I notice it slides slightly up and down, I’m guessing when I open and close my laptop lid. It does what I need it to, but I just wish the adhesive was a little stronger. I cleaned my monitor prior to application. I have a different guard on my personal laptop and do not have any issues with movement.
