perfect sized tv for bedroom. easy to install and use. price was affordable as well

Had this TV about a month, 1st smart TV. Very good overall, some minor issues. TV reception was spotty at first despite using an amplified antenna - tuner is very sensitive, make sure all cable connections are tight with no metal or electric objects near the cable or signal strength and TV reception can suddenly disappear. Channels also disappeared from the channel guide for other reasons, changing a couple of settings fixed that: turning off auto program guide and bandwidth saver, which shuts off the internet connection after 4 hours of no remote activity so channels would disappear from program guide. No number pad on the remote so I can't directly tune to channels is annoying, have to scroll through the program guide and use the previous channel button to get to channels - don't use the auto favorites setting as I mentioned above it makes a 2nd program guide list above the main one which is confusing. Hooked up a DVD recorder to hdmi output 1, noticed the sharpness setting kept graying out making the picture look washed out without sharpness - sometimes the setting would appear and picture looked great but mostly it grayed out - moved the recorder to hdmi input 3 it works better but sometimes the sharpness setting still grays out and returns after 10 or so minutes. TV has no AV input jacks, have to use an AV input cable adapter that has 3 RCA jacks (red-white audio, yellow video) on one end to plug device output cables into, 3.5 mm plug on the other that plugs into an AV input jack on this TV. Had to buy this connector separately, one didn't come with the TV, to hook up an older DVD player that doesn't have hdmi. Works great, wish this connector had been included with the TV. Have a Roku stick I got a year or so ago, entered my Roku account login on this TV and it copied all the apps from my Roku stick to this TV so I have them on 2 devices now. Sometimes unexpectedly the TV will crash, suddenly freezing before restarting. Did get a software update when I first connected it to internet. It acts like a computer, the things it does. Overall happy with it, it's an upgrade over the LED TV it replaced which stopped working after 2 years. Hope these issues I have can be improved in future versions, maybe even this TV through future system updates.

Roku and TCL make a solid product for a really good price. The negative I have is that the private listening feature on the Roku phone app only supports Roku TV apps. You can't use private listening with devices connected to the TV. The basic remote that comes with the TV does not have a headphone jack. Still, at this price point you get a lot for your money.

I purchased this TCL 1080 Roku HDTV for my son for college. I purchased the same TV in 720 for my other son when he went to college a couple of years ago. In the 32” size it is hard to tell the difference in the image quality between 1080 and 720. The 1080 is a little sharper. This is my third TCL Roku TV. For the money, they are one of the best values in smart TVs. The Roku platform is great. I have not had any issues with any of my TCL TVs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good value in a smart HDTV.

Purchased for my Mother-in-law and was very easy to set up and the limited button remote was very user friendly for someone elderly. had one slight concern after set up with the Roku app freezing and not allowing the TV to do anything including turn off with remote. but has not happened since. For the price the quality and picture are really good. The Roku function is new to me and am thinking of getting more when our other tvs are replaced.

It was easy to set up. Color is good and sound is great. Nice tv for the price. I would recommend this tv to a friend.

Easy to use and the picture quality is great. The TV is very light and works great for my camper. WiFi enable tv programming. AWESOME

Excellent TV for bedroom or second location. Very good picture and sound is very good for what it is. The Roku and smart TV are a definite plus, especially if you are considering dropping your cable subscription. Have not tried hooking up an outside antenna yet. Only has a headphone jack for audio output, which could be a problem if you want to hook up a stereo system, otherwise seems to be a good choice for a second TV.

The 32" Roku TV has a great clear picture. The TV very light easy to move where ever you need to put it. Perfect size for a bedroom.

Ordered online. Used ceiling mount to install. All went well until I turned it on. Great picture, no sound. TCL customer service was thorough, walking me through 30 minutes of resets and top secret procedures only three people in world are privy to. Now I know. In the end I had to send it back. Replacement arrived a week later and setup with ease. Everything works on this one. Functions are straight forward and easy to use despite the stripped down instruction pamphlet. Great price.

I wanted to wait some time before reviewing the TCL 32" 3-Series LED Full HD smart Roku TV. This TV is replacing a 2008 18" Sony. There have been so many advancements. I cut the wire this last year so my viewing options were limited. I read a lot of reviews on different TVs. For me anyway, it was somewhat confusing. I always read the negative customer reviews and look for a pattern with issues and problems. I read professional reviews which can lead one to believe that there is always something better. There is and it costs . . . lots. What I found particularly interesting with professional reviews is that the TCL Roku, despite it's "Cons" of lack of brightness and color limitations, time and again is chosen as the Best Budget TV in different classes and sizes. Roku solved my current lack of choices in viewing and with an indoor antenna I have all that I want now. I also hooked my VCR which was easy. For me, the quality of color and brightness exceeds my expectations. The audio in my average size bedroom does the job for me. The size of the screen seems huge compared to my last TV. I am thrilled with this set. So much so, I am going to soon upgrade my living room TV with a larger TCL 4k Roku. Whatever quality I am "supposed" to be missing . . . I am not.

Did my research and found that this TCL 1080 smart TV with Roku is everything I need quality, size, price, functionality are excellent. Delivery was fast and efficient.

We needed a quality, light weight tv to mount inside our camper. This was the lightest 32in 1080p smart tv that I could find - and man is it light weight! The quality is impressive for such a low price. Our only complaint is the remote sensor on the tv is VERY large. When the tv is turned off, the light shines quite substantially. Being a sensitive sleeper and annoyed with lights glowing at night, we purchased sensor stickers online to cover this remote sensor, and it fixed this issue. All and all, we're very pleased with this purchase.

Overall a great television! I purchased this to mount to the wall in my RV and have been pleased with it so far! I have to say that the software on this television is faster and more responsive than my (supposedly) nicer Samsung TV I have at home. I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of what I thought was going to be a "cheapo" TV. The pros/cons listed are viewed through that lens of RV usage since it's a relatively specific use case. Pros: *Feels sturdy when mounted through the VESA mount. *Low power usage, which was important for our solar power system in the RV. *Roku being built in makes it easy to connect the TV to the RV parks WiFi when you arrive. This is especially nice because you don't have to have your own WiFi router or hotspot to cast something from your phone with. *Affordable, especially when considering it's a Full HD TV instead of the 720p that you usually see for this price tag. Cons: *Speakers are okay at best. Especially lacking in bass. Can't say that I was expecting any different, but we have the audio go into an audio system anyways. I would definitely recommend this model as long as you anticipate that the speakers are not quality. But rarely do the built in speakers sound good on a television. I've been seriously considering buying a larger version of this to replace my home TV.

Wasnt expecting to like the ease of setup and performance of this TV and was pleasantly surprised. Installed in minutes and completed all the ROKU account integration quickly. The roku system performs well and is responsive ( we have an Ultra which is faster but I expected that from their premium product)....( note also this TV is literally next to the wifi router so no signal issues). The picture quality is pretty good and reasonably adjustable to tweak to your preferences. Overall would buy this again.

We needed a TV for the basement and didn't have a cable connection down there. I didn't know much about Roku, but have used streaming on other TVs. This TV was a great price, has a really nice picture, and it is easy to use. We were even able to download an app to stream our recorded DVR/Xfinity programming. Until our dog is able to climb stairs again, this will be our main TV.
