Excellent case for the s9 , protected your phone very good.

Works as expected. This our second one. First one was discolored after one year, but she liked the color, so we bought a second one.

The clear layer turned yellow, making my beautiful orchid color look tan/brown. In my pic you can see the original orchid color on the inside of case removed from my phone, but outside shows as an ugly color!

Since there are so many brands to choose from, I usually buy the same commuter case and get the defender case for my spouse. This time, I went shopping and found this new Tech21 - Evo Check Case. All the reviews emphasized its slimness, but it's also very sturdy. It is available in several colors like the Smokey/Black, as well as Clear. I like the Black which frames the front of my phone and the Smokey back which allows the phone's beautiful blue back to show through. The front, back and frame snap on so quick and easy while the cutouts keep my phone's buttons and ports handy. The best part is its FlexShock technology which has been tested to withstand falls up to 6.5 feet. I did accidentally drop my phone and luckily, there was no damage due to the protection this case provides.

This little case isn't flashy but it looks good and has good grip to it. I'm sure it will pick up scratches on the back, but I'll settle for those, as it definitely can take a beating otherwise, keeping the phone's edges, corners and glass safe from impacts. It has nice stand-off contours on the front rop and bottom to keep the glass up off the table when it is set down and the side cutouts allow edge-to-edge touchscreen access. The power and volume buttons are a little hard to press, but it will wake up with the fingerprint reader, so it's just something to get used to. The benefit is it is harder to launch Bixby by accident.

I have only used Tech21 to cover my phones since my S1. Super slim, just the right grippiness, and amazing protection. Recently had a 6 foot drop onto concrete and ended up with one small scuff on the case. A nice surprise was the three sets of button covers that were in the box - purple, yellow, and black. My wife has the same phone and a similar case, so I installed the yellow so I can quickly tell which one is mine.

Provides great protection without being too bulky. Probably one of the thinnest that actually provide protection from falls and a good grip. It also keeps the front of the phone raised above flat surfaces and eliminates the chance of placing the face of your phone in something gross.

I'm super picky about my phone cases, so here is honest 6 week usage opinion of highly rated, but need to test out for myself phone case. Pro's: Transparent, not slippery; love the way it doesn't slide around in car, looks good, good price, fits Galaxy S9 perfect, wireless charge, no problems, but MOST importantly--dropped NEW Samsung S9 phone 2x and case did protect (can't say same for Verizon Glass screen protector, which shattered) Cons: Took off 1* (1/2 if I could) because some sort of plastic inner liner has started to peel away, ALREADY. See I'm not sure if this 'papery plastic coating' affects the integrity of the case overall, If it doesn't I would rate this case a high 4.9*

I have used Otterbox cases in the past for my phones and love them, but when new phones come out the cases tend to be quite expensive. This case was reasonable $ and so far has held up very well. I love the color and look on my phone. Stays on really good too without being bulky.

Got this case for my S9 and it fits really good. Has a rubbery feel to it so I don't loose grip and has lots of dimples on the inside to cushion my phone. Definitely happy with this choice for the price.

Its sleek and protective without an otter-box style tank around the phone. Easy to slide into and out of my pocket but still enough grip to not slide out of my hands. Can't recommend this case enough.

Bought this for my wife's new S9. She had a Tech 21 on her old LG G5 and liked the grip. Have not really tested the drop protection yet but seems like it should do the job. I did notice that it can pop off a corner if bumped wrong but the fit gives easy access to the edge screen.

The Tech21 - Evo case for Samsung Galaxy S9 is very nice. It provides protention, grip and is light weight. I also liked the fact that there several colors to choose from.

This case is very lightweight and adds very little to the size of the phone, keeping it very slim. Tough and rugged, it provides great protection your phone.

Gives great basic protection from drops and bumps. Minimum additional bulk to the phone. Just enough to ensure a good grip and prevent slipping and dropping. If you do drop the phone, good protection and impact absorption.

Investing in a phone case is not something I was interested in doing because I prefer the look of an uncased phone and it didn't seem sensible to "invest" more into a phone that regardless of condition is devaluing daily. However, as a klutz this was sort of a happy medium, given the fact that this wasn't as expensive as other cases I thought it wouldn't stand up to being constantly dropped, thrown, and taken off but it still looks brand new. (Not to mention its easy to clean!!)

I love the cover for my Galaxy S9. It feels very soft, yet I know my phone is protected. It also does give any bulk to my phone.
