Terk is a good brand of antennas, just did not work for us. We only rec'd 2-3 channels in each room. We tried 3 different indoor antennas all with the same results. Eventually we used a Clear Stream antenna and mounted in the attic. The Terk may work for you - every installation is unique. The next problem is you need one indoor antenna for each TV. The attic mount worked for us.

We're about 42 miles from Little Rick and are able to pick up around 7 channels. We sat the unit on top of a book shelf next to the TV and it seems to be fine. We're unable to get 1 or 2 of the core news channels, but the extra digital movie channels it picks up make up for the loss.

It was supposed to have a 65 mile radius and yet it gave me a lot less channels then I originally had and took away some of my favorites. I returned it, hooked back up the old rabbit ears and have twice as many channels as I had with it. I liked the idea of a flat antenna but I didn't like loosing my favorite channels.

    Cut the Cable!

This is a GREAT ANSWER to the over-priced cable companies. There's really no reason to be paying hundreds of dollars for television cable. This receiver works relatively well, is a single ~80 dollar one time investment, and I get local news, other channels, and a gameshow channel. It's perfect! Get rid of the TV cable--you won't miss it.

We really like this antenna, but for some reason in the late afternoon it doesn't bring in 2 of the local channels. We would purchase this same antenna again after looking at other choices. It's nice to have our cable bill go way down.

Easy to set up. We are able to receive a lot of channels for free but unable to get channels that are lower frequency such as ABC, CBS, NBC channels. It could be just my area and the towers around Orlando Florida. At least I'm not paying outrageous cable bill anymore!

This is a decent price for an all directional indoor antenna. No need to turn to any particular direction to gain good reception.

With the hype of the new 4K TVs we weren’t pulling enough signal off one antenna for all of our TVs in the House. So, easy enough, buy an individual indoor antenna...right? Well, I figured since we live in an area less than 15 miles than where major tv is broadcasting that but knowing also we live in an area where signal can be somewhat difficult for us sometimes, I chose to go with a better antenna than the inexpensive one the salesman was pushing for me to get. I got the antenna home and didn’t think it was going to work at first once I had hooked it up, but then realized it had to be pulled away from the tv some and then it worked great.Wheeewwww....are you exhausted???? I sure was!!!! Haha!

I bought this and a GE - GE UltraPro Bar HD 400 Amplified Antenna. Neither worked very well. (I couldn't get the local NBC affiliate.) I thought it might just be the location of my apt untill I tried a cheapo antenna that came with a USB TV receiver. The cheapo antenna worked perfectly, although I have to move it around to get a few stations. I liked the form and function of the UltraPro better than Terk but, for obvious reasons, stuck with the cheapo antenna.

Easy to hookup, but had to add an additional length of cable to get antenna closer to window, which improved reception. Of the stations that it does pick up, it does a nice job, but it does not pick up all of the major Seattle stations, at least not from a single orientation.

Having tried several alternatives, this antenna is for the price, a fair value. Depending upon locale and atmospheric conditions, it may not provide the full range one might hope for. If one lives on a prairie or within range of a metropolitan port, it may do far better than if in a hilly, albeit suburban locale.

Was hoping to be upgrade over my leaf antenna

I bought this to replace the mohu leaf antenna that was not working out well for me after new upgrades that happened in my area. Local ABC has updated their tower, and since then we were not getting good quality video, during storm and windy days the quality of the picture was questionable (on all over the air stations). Bought this hoping all of these issues would be fixed and I am happy to say it was. Put the antenna where the mohu used to be, pointed it southwest (as that is the direction where all of the stations are located), and used the provided amplifier to get stations that are 40+ miles away (CBS).

I've never used an antenna before and didn't know much about them. And so I purchased this product for about $60.00 and found it to be outstanding! Our apartment was on the ground floor and so I thought that I would have to sit it up high. I didn't and I still got over 60 channels!!! Amazing! ◉‿◉

I bought this antenna because our cable company went to all digital and I lost all connection with my second TV. The product's manual stated it could receive up to 65 channels. I get 63, not bad. The picture quality isn't great on some of the channels but I guess that's to be expected. Overall, good product.

If you have Old Plaster Walls it won't be able to gather the Antenna Waves even in Front of a Window. This is a Good Product for Modern Dry Wall Apartments, Condos and Homes. If they are on a Hill. My Outside Antenna brings in over 70 Channels. Due to Thick Walls only received about 20 Channels. Always buy an Outside Antenna with 200 Miles Radius if on an Hill!

Barely pulls in 4 channels and they sometimes goes out. Am in the city and well within range of the towers. There are no major obstructions to block the signal. You are better off going with a different brand or getting an outside antenna you can mount up high. Almost worthless. It cheap lightweight plastic and doesn't sit solidly on base. Had to tape it to a window to get any channels and that barely works. Should have returned it.

I live at the outer edge of the advertised limit. 60 miles and in a wooded area. The product did get 6-8 channels but none of the local ABC< CBS< NBC channels that I was looking for. Again it was just outside the advertiesed limits and I do believe it would work great a little closer to transmission tower.
