It’s pricey, I’m not going to deny that I believe you get what you pay for the power and this thing is insane. We’ve been using gas stoves, and cooktops forever there is absolute no comparison between these two. I can see flying this thing the freedom to us as much parts as you can and move them around as you want is one of the best pros

Looks great, and even supports giant pots while still having room for 8 other pot and pans of various sizes.

I’ve had induction cooktops for the last 15 years. 2 years ago my old GE profile went and I purchased this one. I love that I dont have to find a pot/pan that fits the element. If I’m cooking a dish and want to add a pot, I can slide the one I’m currently using to the back to make more room. My 2 favorite features are the power boost mode, and the cook timer. The power boost mode will have a large pot of water boiling in under 2 minutes. The cook timer is great for slow roasts. I can leave the stove on at a lower temp for 13+ hours without the cooktop timing out. There is an optional tempature sensor that can be adhered to a pot. My only complaint about the sensor is constant disconnecting. I highly recommend this cooktop!!

Thermador freedom is a Frustrating stove top

Owned for 12 years. Electronics are sub par. Since day one the thermador turns off and tells you to unplug the unit to reset. This has happened for thirteen
Years and is very sad for a $6000 stove top. they replaced a part under warranty but didn’t solve the issue. Finally the unit won’t turn on at all any more That’s $500 a year plus electricity for this product. Very expensive and frustrating. Service for the unit is very poor
