I bought replacement tiles. I have used them for several years and my family has also. We have found several items that would have been lost without a tile. The new tiles have replaceable batteries.

I love the product because I'm always losing my keys in the bottom of my purse or somewhere in my room. The sound is loud and long enough for me to locate them. I also like the option of locating them if a item is left somewhere else.

Love them. Bought several for every car and luggage’s.

Great item, certainly comes in handy when you forget where you put your key and other items.

I purchased tile mates for my kids, nieces and nephews for Christmas, and within a week of being used, one of them broke off my daughter's key chain. They are not durable products. Even worse, per the Tile company "physical damage isn't covered by warranty." No replacement for a product that has been used for a week and broke doing it's primary function - hanging off a key chain. But they did offer me a discount on a new one - how nice. Avoid this product! Per Tile: Our Tiles were built to last and are made of materials that are both light and durable. That said, there may come a time when you find that your Tile has suffered damage that renders it nonfunctional. Unfortunately, physical damage is not covered by the warranty. In this particular situation I can offer a 20% discount towards another Tile purchase. I'm sorry that this has happened, though I do appreciate your understanding.

Tiles are excellent devices for keeping track of just about anything. However, don't expect them to be full-featured GPS locator devices. Tiles must be connected to your phone to work. They use your smartphone's GPS combined with a Bluetooth radio to keep track of where the device is located. For example, if you place a tile in your laptop bag and then your laptop bag gets stolen from your car, don't expect to track the bag down unless you can get your phone within 150 feet of the bag. Where Tile excels is in locating things you keep with you, but you misplace often, keys, remotes, laptop bag, etc. I keep one in my car because I work at the local college and parking is scarce. It can be difficult to remember day-to-day which street I parked on. I think Tile's are wonderful devices, but I think many customers don't fully understand what they do and do not do.

Have been a tile user for about a year. Loved the old ones. If they failed, they sent you new ones, but still a pain. With a removable battery now, you can hopefully fixes what ails your tile when you need to. Already using this one for my keys. Its slightly bigger, but feels sturdier. And it works just as well as the old ones, but louder. Happy customer for now, we will see how long the battery lasts and if it holds up to daily wear and tear.

I'm an absent minded professor. I was spending way too much time looking for things. So, I bought tiles and put them in my work backpack, every set of keys I own, and they are WONDERFUL! The 2018 versions are even better, longer range, louder ring, and replaceable batteries. A good product got better. I highly recommend this. I can even set a notification so that if I leave home without a critical item that's tiled, my phone will tell me before I get too far down the road. I even used Tile adhesive (yes, tile makes double-sided stickers) and put it on my work badge. Again, so cool! Buy and use. It will change your life.

I lose everything. Seriously. I lose my keys, wallet, phone on a regular basis. Or I did. With Tile, I can easily find everything. I can even use the tile on my keys to ring my phone. It rings even when my phone is set to silent. Tile has made my life SO much easier! I was hesitant to buy this product because of the price. Then I lost my keys and searched for HOURS. So I went and bought another (cheaper) brand, and it was terrible. It rang all the time and didn't ring when I actually lost something. I lost my wallet. Searched for hours. When I found it, I drove directly to Best Buy and bought the four pack. Angels descend and trumpets sound! Holy Cow! It doesn't say this on the box or anything, but before tile, I had lost my mind in searching for stuff. Thank you Tile for finding my lost mind.

Just got the original or cheapest one I found. Originally bought for my husband who always loses his phone and once his keys lol! He thought it was “too big” to carry around so he gave it back. I am using it and think it’s so small! Works great from my phone or iPad but took awhile to figure out to hit the tile itself you have to hit the button SUPER hard to locate phone that way. Using app is easy and gives you pretty much exact address where it is.

I love these things. They’re so much better than the old ones without removable batteries. Now, one purchase and you never lose your keys again because you can always get a new battery after a couple years. Works fine in a big two story house, they’re relatively loud. I can only see an issue if you are hard of hearing, in which case it would be difficult to hear if muffled by anything.

First and foremost, this purchase was for my dad. Set up had to be simple and foolproof. Works just as advertised and purchasing the premium "membership" is reasonable and adds more to an already excellent product. The ability to use it to find your phone and vice versa (the phone to find the tile) is fantastic. The tune is plays is loud but pleasant and the removable battery means more usable years out of it (in comparison to the first generation, which was non removable). All in all, I highly recommend it if you tend to forget where you put your phone and/or keys. Additionally, they make a card slim version which can be inserted in your wallet. The battery on that is non removable, but it lasts for a year and you get a discount for replacing it through Tile for a heavily discounted price. Personally, I would go for the combo pack, which includes 2 Tile Mates + 2 Tile Slims OR the 4 Tile Mates and tag numerous objects around the house (backpack, wallet, keys, phone or even your favorite coat).

My husband gave me a set of an earlier Tile model over a year ago -- non-replaceable battery and one-way functionality, in which the app on my phone could signal to the tile attached to my keys, but not the reverse. If I wanted to use the Tile to find my phone, I had to find some way to attach it to my phone -- not convenient. The Tile-Mate, which I bought to replace my earlier Tile model, not only has a replaceable battery, but also features a button I can press, that causes the Tile app on my phone to make a noise, so I can use the Tile-Mate to find my phone -- super convenient! Right now, I'm just using my Tile-Mates on keys (thank goodness, because my son-in-law moved my keys after moving my car, and I would never have found them if I hadn't been able to call the Tile-Mate from my phone app); but am thinking of attaching one to my suitcase because these days when you fly, you never know where your carry-on bag will end up on the plane.

I also have the Tile Pro, but the Tile Mate serves my needs as well. Besides being less expensive, I like the smaller size for some items. Its not as loud as the Tile Pro, but plenty loud enough. I like that the batteries are replaceable, and I especially like that I can also find my iPhone by double clicking on the Tile. Its been a good purchase.

I purchased the 4pk and gave one to my wife, one to my son and two for me. So far they have been used to track down a phone and a car key. My wife came home and told me that she may have left her phone at her mom's place and started calling if the phone was there. I told her to activate the tile to see if the phone is nearby. She heard the phone ringing and it was in her car which fell on the floor. I also used mine to look for my keys because they were not in the key hook where I place my keys. I found them buried in the bag where we keep the grocery bags. They are definitely useful.

I had trackr before, which I liked because of the replaceable battery but they were difficult to replace. Now that tile can do the same I switch as its a much better device - more range and louder sound. Supposedly better battery life too...time will tell.

Love these tiles. Easy to link and loud enough to hear between rooms. I’m using one of the new replaceable battery tiles in my wallet and it fits fine, but I don’t have many cards in my wallet so it might not fit well for others.

This was the perfect product for me. I had pixie trackers that worked ok, but the plastic cracked and the batteries died quickly. This new model tile has replaceable batteries and seems much sturdier. The pixie was visual tracking vs audible sound here, but the tile is fairly loud and the phone finder is much easier to use. Overall, I’m going to stick with these to find my keys from now on.

Overall not a bad gadget. I made sure to get the tile mate instead of the others due to the ability to replace the battery after 1 year. I'm not spending 80 bucks for it to be gone after 1 year of use by then I've finally got accustomed to the device being in my life. The tracking on this device is pretty accurate as well as the nice feature to be able to find your phone by using the tile to make your phone play a sound. This way as long as you have one of the products you'll find the other. The only downside I would say is all the ring sounds it has. They are limited as well as all 8 byte and nothing better and there's no way to create your own custom tone.
