Recently I tested out the ToughTested Solar20 20,000 mAh portable charger and I could not be more pleased– it's sleek, yet durable rubber frame allows me to throw it into my bag and go anywhere with it, which is perfect for going from class to class. Further, it can hold up to 20,000 mAh of charge, which is enough to power all of my devices for several hours if I studying somewhere without outlets or commuting across Boston to my job. However, my favorite feature of all is its solar charging capability, a feature that allows me to capture power wherever I go in a sustainable, dependable way– perfect for studying outside when the weather is nice! Pretty good for use as a power bank refill station - took camping where no power available, worked ok as I said as a refill station for multiple various cell phones, rechargeable headlamps etc - as far as the solar goes which is what I mainly bought if for - I wouldn’t rate it very high only maybe 2 stars - had it out in full sun - that full full summer sun all day and it only would get to 50% charged even tho I had it in the sun a full 7 hrs - so I put it back out all day next day in full sun and didn’t use it to charge anything - after another full 7 hrs in sun it still only registered 50% charged - so for 100$ I was pretty disappointed with lackluster solar recharging. Honestly thought about returning …

Compact solar charger which needs more solar panels to help it generate hot

You can manually charge it from a wall outlet as well as leaving it out in the sun. It's a bit heavy and comes with a caribeaner which i find useful. The flashlight is quite powerful and i feel a bit safer driving through the snow knowing this has been sitting on my dash ready to charge things in case i get stuck and something happens to my battery

This item sounded great in it's description, not so much in reality! I bought it twice, the first time the flashlight didn't turn on so I returned it. the second time the flashlight didn't turn on so I returned it. There won't be a third try. I wrote the manufacturer to ask for help., they never responded. I urge you to buy this product if you want reassurance that the product is designed to frustrate you.

I wish it would charge quicker using the sun, but the solar panel functions and does charge it even in the dead of a Northwest winter.

This product worked fine for about 4 months . One day charging my phone with about 50 percent battery remaining on the power bank it just completely stopped working . I never dropped it and took excellent care and didn't want to charge at all after.

Heavy, didn't get the chance to try the solar panel

Trash only charges up to 4 times and ,now less than a year later. It is completely dead and will not even charge itself from the wall. Plus the solar cell does not do anything, it just does not pull enough to charge the battery pack.

Solar charging simply does not work. Materials used feels and looks very cheap. I did not see a major difference from any Chine brand power bank.
This is great for hiking. Just attach it to your backpack while walking in the sun.
