This mesh system was very easy to setup and operate. The app is excellent and intuitive. The TP-Link system works as advertised and delivers the gig speed I am looking for. Docked one star because it doesn't seem to have as much range as the Netgear Orbi system it replaced, although the router and satellite units are smaller and better looking. Also, I'd like to be able to set up more than one guest network.

    Best Router in the Market!

I recently picked up the TP-Link BE14000 WiFi 7 mesh system, and going into it, I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed. I’ve worked in networking for years, both enterprise and residential, so I tend to be pretty critical of “consumer” gear. This one surprised me in a good way. Performance is where it really stands out. With WiFi 7 and multi-link operation, you can actually feel the difference. Latency is lower, connections are more stable, and it handles a heavy load without falling apart. I’ve got a mix of devices including newer WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 clients, and they’re pulling speeds that are about as close to wired as you can realistically expect over wireless. Coverage is also solid. I’m running a multi-node setup and roaming between nodes is seamless. No drops, no weird handoff issues. It just works in the background the way it should. Even in areas where mesh systems usually struggle, the signal holds up better than expected. Hardware-wise, the 10 gig port on each node is a big plus. It gives you some future proofing, especially if you’re running multi-gig internet or a fast internal network. I do wish there were a few more multi-gig ports, but for most setups it’s enough. The biggest tradeoff is on the software side. Setup is quick and easy through the app, which is great for most people. But if you’re used to full control like you’d get with prosumer or enterprise gear, it can feel a bit limiting. There’s no deep level of configuration, and some features are locked behind subscriptions. That part might frustrate more advanced users. Overall, I’d say this is one of the better mesh systems out right now. It hits a sweet spot between performance and ease of use. If you want something powerful that doesn’t require constant tweaking, it’s a great choice. If you’re someone who likes to fine tune every detail of your network, you might feel a bit boxed in. For me, it’s been reliable, fast, and easy to live with, which honestly matters more day to day than having every possible knob to turn.

Best Buy had only one of these in stock and it appeared to be one version older than the latest-and-greatest. I scanned all the QR codes of every suitable-spec'd Wifi 7 router in the store and read the reviews. This one had only 8 reviews, but 100% of them were 5-star. I told myself I'd have to come give it a 9th 5-star if I liked it, and I do really like it. Setup is pretty easy. The signal seems to carry fairly far, and my WiFi seems very stable.

I had a very expensive Asus mesh system that I really struggled to get good covering in my garage office (roughly 125' from my main router). Decided to upgrade to wifi7 since my PC uses that. This was recommended by wirecutter, so I pulled the trigger. Set up is super easy. Even people with no tech background would have no problems. However, I wasn't getting great speeds (I have 2gig internet) and the mesh points couldn't get more than two (out of three bars) no matter what I did. However, the main router is in a mesh cabinet and so I decided to move it out of the cabinet and closest to the middle of the house. Suddenly, I was getting 500down in the garage (where I was getting maybe 40 with the Asus) and over 1000down on my phone about 15 feet away and somewhere between the two in the rest of my house.

These are probably the best triband you can get at this time. I had Eero 7 and Orbi 780 before and they can't event compare. The are easy to setup and quick too. The range is excellent and the speed is fast. The app is fantastic. I highly recommend these.

I have a half acre lot. Was not my intent to have WiFi coverage for my entire property but that is what I got. I only wanted coverage for my detached garage. Could I have spent less and gotten what I needed? Certainly I over spent but there is no arguing about performance, it performs.

My house is 3200 square feet. 3 levels, finished basement. Kids, work at home spouse, gaming systems, tablets, IOT devices. Unless you have your house wired for Ethernet or boosters everywhere, you need these. App works good with profiles for devices to limit usage you things like YouTube. There is a pay wall for additional security and parental controls. I will be using these as a quick all in one place to get internet throughout the house. As a casual user these are great.

Made this my main mesh and use old TP-LINK M9s and M5s are pucks to put throughout the house and yard. I have 1 gig internet (though this future-proofs faster), and I'm getting a 940mbs about 100 ft away from my modem. Can stream HD video 250 feet from the main. Better deal on this system than any other in the same neighborhood of coverage.

My internet connection went from 0-100 real quick after installing my deco. I live in a 2 story house that's big inside with many walls and rooms which causes my connection to be horrible especially gaming. Since I got the deco I've had no complaints, just mad that I didn't find out about it til now. I recommend anyone that lives in a house that have weak connection spots to get this exact one.

So simple to set up! Up and running in less than an hour. We only have one gamer but have multiple devices. No problem! Am getting rid of the single unit the provider wants us to use, it didn't reach very far and was constantly bumping us off the network!
