Purchased this for my outdoor Christmas lights. Super easy to program the schedule, and very reliable product. I've used this for two holiday seasons now, and so far, it's still going strong.

I own numerous TP-Link Kasa smart plugs, smart power strips, smart lighbulbs and cameras, so this integrated nicely with my current setup. I've almost never had a problem with any of my Kasa devices. The Kasa app is great. Everything can be controlled in one place, and it integrates seamlessly with the Google Assistant for voice commands and Google Home app. This is one of the few name-brand outdoor plugs available. I've been using it outdoors for for over a year, and I've never had a problem. I use it to control my outdoor floodlights and holiday decorations. Each receptacle (there are two) can be independently named and controlled. Schedules can be set, including on/off based on variable sunrise/sunset times.

Easy setup and connection to my wifi which does not travel far outside of ny home. I use this under my carport which is where my patio lights are plugged. Paired easily with Alexa. I use my Alexa devices and Firestick 4K to turn my patio lights on/off now. Solved a major problem because my exterior outlet was in the GFCI circuit. If I wanted to use my blowdryer, electric toothbrush, or any other item in the bathroom I'd have to have the patio lights on at the same time. Now I can have the GFCI on and turn the patio lights off at the sound of my voice!!! No need to hire an electrician to solve the issue. Certainly worth the money and convenience.

So far it’s worked as advertised. I can control it through Alexa and I have it running a schedule. Easy to follow set-up instructions. Looks to be good quality. Time will tell.

These smart plugs are awesome. I have outdoor lights and love how I can use my phone or the echo devices before I go out. You can also schedule them through the app.

As always it works just as well as all the other Kasa products I have and the app is easy and seamless to use. I love that each outlet you can control separately. I am currently using it to turn on my balcony string lights. It has rained several times and it is still working perfectly. I got this on sale and was definitely worth getting. Recommend for anyone that wants to control things outdoors. TP link makes quality products and the app is one of the best I’ve used for smart devices.

I bought this to use during the holiday season for our decorations outside and it works just as I expected if not a little bit better! The KASA app is easy to use and set up is just a few minutes and easy to link to your google assistant. Plus with the KASA app you can set up a timer so the outlets turn on and turn off during a certain time each day and pick which days of the week for the schedule to be used. You can still use google assistant to turn it off/on with your voice even if you put it on a schedule. Showed my family this and they were amazed by it especially when I told them we don't have to go outside and turn it off/on anymore (not that thats bad lol just sometimes we forget they're on or off) P.S. If you name both outlets the same thing like for example "The decorations" then google assistant will still turn them both on at same time so no need to name them differently like it suggests.

I bought this to run my outdoor Christmas lighting into to make it simpler to turn on and off rather then having to manually turn my lights on daily or have a weird timer I had to press a bunch of notches on to setup the times I wanted it on and off... And this answered that problem with flying colors. I do have other Kasa smart plugs I use indoors for Christmas trees (yes plural lol) and they all work great together. The app is very simple to use and setup scheduling. You can also sync it up to your Google Home if you wish to set up your schedule within there but I found no need to do so as the Kasa app was simple. I did deduct a star because as some user have pointed out the amount of access the app requires is a bit excessive for the info they wish to receive to just use some smart plugs. Other than that I never had an issue with either plug working or not started or ending the schedule! It has survived 2 Christmases so far.

This product is excellent for your outdoor needs. It is easy to set up and works great in any weather condition.

I was needing a plug I could turn off and on remotely but needed the ruggedness to be able to withstand the outdoor elements. This was my second one to buy and it never fails. I use the scheduling features thru the Kasa app to automate some features. Can’t forget about the ability to use my Alexa to turn it off and on without having to get up.

This is great option to save some electricity if you have a bunch of holiday blow up decorations. The Kasa app is easy to use and set up schedules to automatically turn off and on spotlights and blow up’s. The only drawback I have with these is their extremely short cord. The instructions recommend keeping the outlets hanging downwards the reduced the risk of water shorts. But doesn’t have enough length to loop it back up. Do you need to buy additional an additional 1’-3’ outdoor cord and then seal that connection.

Purchased to use with our outdoor Christmas light display. Makes it so much easier being able to turn lights on and off together on a timer or manually from my phone.

This is my 4th one of these and they have made my outdoor lights and power needs a breeze. I have two plugs for my Christmas lights and I put one on each outlet. The other two or for my front and back patios. My whole house uses TP-Link plugs and these were easy to integrate into my ecosystem. Each plug can be set to it's own schedule and that's a real plus.

I purchased this product to automate my Christmas lights on the house. It did a great job at doing this. It was nice to be able to not worry about turning off the lights at the end of the day. I no longer needed to go outside in negative degree weather to complete it. During the summer months I will use it to control my lights in the yard. This is very worth the money.

Fantastic addition to my Alexa devices to control multiple lights around the backyard. I set it up with a timer as well through the Kasa App and no need to worry about turning stuff on and off even when away from the house. I also use it with my Christmas tree!
