Turtle beach is known for the headsets, and the Atlas 200 is a budget wired offering from them. Sporting a grey/white design with emboldened Playstation logos, this headset keeps no secret its alignment to gaming. What is surprising is that it does a lot more, and fairly well. Opening the box reveals fairly simple packaging. The headphones sit in a cardboard tray packaged in plastic. Removing them you’ll find the wired cable is about a meter in length. The cable terminates in a 3.5mm CTIA headphone jack, which despite being the Playstation controller’s primary remote audio feels decidedly retro in 2025. The headset itself has decent initial build quality. Taking a closer look at construction, the headband is super flexible and tough. This is a good thing in a headset, as I’ve had numerous headsets break. The underlying construction appears to be steel sheathed in plastic. The headset, in the white variant, has a blue elastic band that’s adjustable. At first blush it simply looks like a flourish of color, but it’s actually adjustable. The plastics in use seem strong, and there is absolutely no creaking noises. The Turtle Beach logo is embossed on each ear and the overall look is quite clean. The headset itself is quite comfortable to wear. The ear cushions are very soft and comfortable foam. They do appear easily replaceable. They’re covered in a soft microfiber material which should wear fairly well. There is an analogue volume control on the left ear cup, which is a nice touch. The microphone is on the same ear cup, and has a decent action. There are 3 positions the microphone can be in, 2 of which are muted. The fully extended active, flip up slightly to mute, and stowed away for primary headphone usage. Honestly in my PS5 usage, I simply plug the headphone into the 3.5mm jack on the controller and go. I don’t do a lot of chatting with the microphone during my gaming. I found the sound details were quite nice. I was able to pick up subtle details in the sound design of several games that I missed using just TV speakers. The usage of a CTIA jack means this headset works flawlessly with many other devices than the PS5. This includes my Macbook Pro, where I did give the microphone a good workout. I found that the audio from the mic was clear and loud. I wouldn’t put this up against a dedicated microphone, and the little bitty amount of foam only somewhat controls pop, but the microphone is better than most in this price range. Another thing that was obvious from hooking up to my laptop: The audio quality is quite nice for the price. Unlike many headphones, this headset isn’t pushing bass too far. The lack of a heavy V curve means you get a pretty natural sound. The bass extension is quite good, without being overwhelming. The mids and highs are well balanced for a headset like this, so you’ll find it quite nice for just normal audio listening. That’s saying a lot as my opinion on many cans (over the ear headphones) are pretty rough. These headphones impressed me. Sound isolation is fairly solid given the foam ear pads. I was very immersed using these, and my kids had to really get my attention when I was playing. What a great feature. Overall I’ve been quite happy with the Turtle Beach headphones. These are a great set that goes beyond the PS5 as far as usage. What was surprising to me was the raw audio quality of these drivers and the overall sound quality. While primarily a noise isolating gaming headset, it is capable of offering really solid music performance as well. The microphone is more than adequate for chatting, and the style is top notch. Highly recommended.

Wow.... Super comfy, lightweight, Headphones. And works really well with folks who have glasses. Nice silver color. Totally stands out from the standard black ones. Setup was super simple. Plug it in and your are done. Since it is not wireless you are limited with mobility. But if you plug into wireless controller you are now wireless. So.you can couple it with a wireless controller that has as headphone Jack. The mic boom up feature is nice. You flip it up and you are on mute. Great feature when you don't want to click on PC to mute or cover the mic with your hand ect.. Game play was nice. Wired means Zero lag. Mic use on multiplayer game was super nice and easy to use. I let my kid try it out on his geometry dash on PC and it did fine. Since it was wired. No lag. Comfort was super nice. 3 hours straight play and no ear or head fatigue. My kid wears glasses so it worked around his glasses. Adjustability is for small or medium size heads was a ok. It does not really adjust. But lucky our heads worked out for the design. Nice feel and weight. So I would make sure you try these out before you buy them as head size might be an issue. Also if you want wireless these are not for you. Lightweight, different color, wired, all pluses.

This is a perfect example of a no-frills headset. Easy in, easy out. Less worries. I know everyone is on a wireless headset, and though I charge my dual shock controllers anyway, the headset is another thing to worry about. Plus sometimes, wireless ones have the USB dongles that take space on my console USB slots—so this headset is one of those that I can easily rely on night in and night out. When I got these headphones, I thought I would be using it more for a second player, or when my fiancee and I would have to quietly watch action movies when the baby is asleep (we each have a controller profile on with headphones when we watch through the console as a quiet solution to movie nights). But I found myself actually using them too, more often than I thought I would, over my wireless ones. I simply plug this into a dual shock, and game all night without any worries of bluetooth / radio interference, or moreso, the dreaded low batt situation. The headphones have a good design. The color scheme is very PS5, especially with the logo on the side. It is not light, but it has the right amount of weight for me to have it slip comfortably on my head, matched with the top snug mesh fabric that looks like some scandinavian car design element. I am not a fan of the texture of the ear cushion—when I touch them; but it is perfectly fine when they are on my ears. The cushion does not press too much, allowing comfort for glasses use, so I also say, no headache—the headphones do not give me actual physical headaches. Plus the cushion is breathable enough for me to not sweat on hot-day intense gameplays. The build quality is durable but that is expected for Turtle Beach. The plastic texture is sturdy and the exterior feel is of decent quality. The connectivity performance is straightforward. You cannot go wrong with wired ones. I do have to be mindful of it at times when I jerk out of frustration for being owned, as the wire sometimes do get caught in my watch. Other than that, wired performance will always be reliable. The sound is pretty good. The sound is wider than the cups—meaning, I know where the cups are, but I know the sound the headphones emit, goes beyond the cushion. The sound quality is great as well, with no equalizer tuning needed. Lows to highs are balanced and the volume capacity is pretty high-- I can easily slide the volume rocker up and the sound can be loud without breaking. The microphone is pretty straightforward too. Flip up and backdown, it doesn't fall on headbobs, and I do not seem to encounter any issues of others not understanding my accent. So far so good. I like it. Again, I thought it will be a good back-up to my wireless ones, but it seems like I use it more than my wireless ones. Good job Turtle Beach. It is priced just right. I just gave the good word to my crew.

I was quite pleased with this headset I know we're at an age where alot of us prefer the wireless. But I didn't want the hassle of changing devices and have to worry about pairing and lost connections etc. I'm currently using this while in bed on my hand helds, and I need a solid connection so I don't wake the wife and kids :) a physical connection ensures I won't mess that up. Unboxing, nothing to talk about, pretty standard, safely packed Build, I really like the simplicity of the build. There's a volume button and that's it. The mic auto mutes when you lift it. The quality of the material used feels plastic but not cheap plastic. The strap feels well/snug to adjust. Comfort, I was really surprised at the comfort of this head set. I took a picture to show the fabric up close, the ear cups feels like marshmallows on my ears. I wonder how sweat will hold up in the long run, but I'm very happy I can play for 2 hours without even noticing the thing on my head. Very comfortable. Microphone is at a perfect distance not to be too distracting. It's a lift, not a projected microphone, which I'm fine with, but the pictures may be deceiving. Function, I really like the dampener on the microphone is this small little guy attached, don't have to use a giant boom cotton, makes me sound a little less frictional in game chat. Rarely chat in game, but nice to have. The sound is clean crisp and gentle boom, out of the box. I know there's a software to adjust this, I didn't have any problems with it, I like the profile as is, so I just kept it as original. Finally I can confirm it works well with the PS controllers, (PS4, or PS5), and any 3.5mm jacks. I used it on my Xbox Ally X in the photo, works flawless, loved it, no complaints. Highly Recommend!

These are a very nice set of gaming cans. They sound great and provide excellent game immersion. Wired can be a benefit since you don’t have to worry about having to charge up another device. They are super easy to start using, literally plug and play. The look is very Sony aesthetic with the white, blue, and silver accents. The sound is very nice, with some good separation in sounds as well as some punchy bass. These are great in FPS games as well as one Action RPGs. I tried this in the new Ghost of Yotei and I could really appreciate the slight environmental sounds as well as the great soundtrack. The headset does support surround sound which is nice, especially in quiet tense moments when you are trying to sneak by something. The mic also did well. Friends could easily hear what I was saying without any issues. I also love that you can move it up out of the way when you don’t need to use it. All in all, this a great wired gaming headset and would be great for most folks. If you are looking for premium build, wireless features, and/or higher sound quality than you can easily spend more, but I think most people would be very happy with this headset.

I've owned a few Turtle Beach headsets in the past, as rule Turtle Beach products have excellent audio quality and the Atlas 200 is no exception. As a wired headset, no need to pair, just plug it straight into your PS5 controller and you're good to go. The odd part about the Atlas 200 though is the way it adjusts to your head, which, before I even get into the audio quality... I need to explain. The Atlas 200 has the strangest adjustment I have ever used (see photo). The blue PlayStation logo area is actually a velcro strap you need to unpeel and use to adjust the headband. This is honestly, frustrating, as can't resize while wearing the Atlas 200. Turtle Beach should have thought this part through a little more and I took off 1 star for that. Once you do get the Atlas 200 adjusted, it's actually very comfortbale. The ear cups are well padded and they work well with my glasses. The Atlas 200 is also super lightweight. The microphone is both flip to mute, but also adjustable. But onto the most important part, sound reproduction - the sound is great, super clear, and the 50mm drivers pump out good audio - I just got Battlefield 6, and all ambient and directional noise is top notch. The microphone audio quality, at least in my tests, is OK not great - it's a unidirectional microphone, but seems to have more hiss and background noise pick up than I expected from comparable Turtle Beach products and I expect better from a wired headset, so that also costs another 1 star on this review. Overall, the Atlas 200 is lightweight, comfortable (aside from werid sizing setup), and has very good sound - if you're just using it for solo gaming, it's a great headset. If you want to use for co-op, I think it could be better.

The Atlas 200 headset is a perfect companion for your PlayStation. Turtle Beach has created a dependable, breathable, and comfortable headset with good sound quality. The quality of this headset seems on par with Turtle Beach’s brand they feel great on your head and look cool. The white set is color matched to PlayStation’s white console/controller and with accents of Sony’s blue. It is the little things! There is one volume wheel, one boom (mic) stick, a corded 3.5mm jack, and two 50MM drivers….simplicity at its best. The headset’s fit and feel are good. Not premium but good enough for any average gamer. I wear glasses and have no interference with the ear cushions. The ear cushions are memory foam, and the head band forms to my nicely every time I play. The band(s) are mostly mesh to allow breathability. The 50mm drivers are good and are at least on the larger side. While not premium they do provide robust sound. I play a ton of Call of Duty, and atlas headphones compare well to my other higher end Turtle Beach sets. I prefer to have the corded version as I never have to worry about a 2nd device to charge. I charge my controller nightly, so I am not sure if the headphones draw enough power to cause frequent charging; however, I have not noticed anything significant. To make most changes you will need to rely on PlayStation, I have had to adjust volume for gameplay and my mic through my ps settings. The Atlas headphones will work with ps5’s 3D sound settings. I would like to note that while you do not have the ability to adjust as many settings with the Turtle Beach app (since these are not wireless) it makes things simple as you just must use ps settings. However, if you are particular with your audio and adjusting every setting, you will need another headset. Overall, a good headset for the simple gamer. A wired, simple, plug and play experience. If you are expecting full customization or cannot handle a cord experience…I would look elsewhere.

This Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset for PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4 in White connects to your PlayStation controller via the 3.5mm port. You can also connect it to other devices that contain a standard 3.5mm jack like a smartphone, tablet or console, but it’s licensed for PlayStation and I have only used it on the PlayStation. In the box you get the Turtle Beach Altas 200 Wired headset and a QuickStart guide Setup was seamless, as all I did was plug it into the 3.5mm jack on my PlayStation 5 DualSense Wireless Controller. Great features that I love about this headset: I wear glasses, and this is glasses friendly with what they call ProSpecs. The way the headset fits on your head and the memory foam cushions make wearing these during long gaming sessions a breeze. They don’t squeeze your head, they don’t give you a headache by pushing on your glasses, and they are very lightweight so they don’t feel like you are wearing a ton of bricks on your head. They are super comfortable. The microphone is muted when you flip it up. There are no buttons to push or to remember. Huge plus! Just flip it up out of the way and mute is on. Tempest 3D AudioTech Support for PlayStation 5 makes all the games sound like you are right there in the game. You can hear people walking. You can hear when the wind blows weeds or leaves on the trees. It’s really cool to hear these things. Volume wheel is on the headset. 4ft cord is attached. It never has to be charged! It fits most head sizes. My 4 year old grandson wanted to try it, and although it was a little big for him, he loves it too and put a claim on it. All in all the features are great on this headset. The cons: This wired headset is designed just right. I have no complaints.

This wired playstation gaming headset is perfect for long gaming sessions while maintaining comfort, let me explain. Ive had a few turtle beach headsets over the years and they have always got the job done for me. One thing I disliked about most though was the leather style ear cups. These resolve that issue as they have neoprene style cloth with memory foam making them extremely comfortable. There is no hot spot on the top of the head due to the suspension style headband they used here which also makes it able to fit almost any head size from small to large. Since it doesn’t rest on your head it really blends into your head after 5mins and you cant tell your wearing a “big headset”. The plastic construction though not feeling the greatest makes for a nice and light experience. The mic is attached and flips up out of the way when not in use, and to mute. Since this is designed for use specifically with the PS5 the impedance rating is perfect to have full sound from the playstation dual sense controller. Being wired has no bearing on gaming for me as the controller is already wireless and this actually resolves having to think about charging another item in my gaming setup. Very happy with the sound, performance and especially the comfort of this gaming headset by Turtle Beach and have really seen a lot of great strides forward and hope to see many more in the future as I can truly highly recommend these!

Simple Wired Headset for Play Station

The Turtle Beach- Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset for Play Station is a lightweight breathable headset. Probably 3/4 of the head band is mesh so it does not sweat my head. It is easy to adjust for the perfect fit with the velcro tabs on both sides. The velcro is strong enough to be secure and yet comfortable. The memory foam cushions on the headset are very comfortable even with glasses on. . The microphone is on the left side and will flip straight up to mute. For some reason I do not like this microphone. No matter the position it is always in my prepherial vision. That is annoying when playing games. I tried it in several positions but I just do not like it. . This is a simple headset with only one control on the headset itself. The volume wheel turned to turn up and down the volume. The headset has a removable cord that connects the headset to the Play Station. I find that I like headsets that are not connected by a cord. Again they annoy me and disrupt my game. . The set-up is simple but I do suggest you scan the QR code on the pamphlet enclosed. It is of great help.

"Old School" Headphones For Modern Gaming

Love the design and the looks of the Turtle Beach Atlas 200 headphones. They look attractive and modern and definitely complement my PlayStation collection of accessories. I think the blue color on the headband really make these headphones stand out from any other set. These are Wired headphones and I really like "the old school" feel of these as many gaming headsets nowadays are wireless. With wired connection you get absolute pure digital/analog sound and frankly the audio cable was never in my way when paying COD or any other game really. Let's talk about the comfort level as I always rate my headphones on the basis of this number one important to me and I am sure others as well. When you have to wear gaming headphones for a few hours, it is absolutely crucial to know that my headphones are sitting comfortably on my head and will not bother or interfere with my game play. I can confidently state here that Atlas 200 worked perfectly for my head and the cushions were very comfortable as well. The weight of these headphones is just right and when you are engulfed by the game, you almost forget you have them on, which is a very good thing in my book. You get excellent sound quality and well balanced microphone. I would advise playing around with your PlayStation Audio settings to get the desired output (3D sound settings also supported). The bass is punchy and Adagio for Strings will pleasantly surprise you if you play that soundtrack. I would absolutely recommend these for any gamer out there, they are affordable, sound great and comfortable, what else would you need? I am glad that there is still a good market for wired headphones and hope they continue making these and improving sound quality.

Verdict: The Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Headset is a good option for an inexpensive, yet reliable gaming headset. It’s plug and play, so it always works! No charging or pairing. The sound quality is respectable. It’s mostly comfortable, but may not be optimal if you have bigger ears. First Impressions. Included in the box are the headset and manuals. The headset feels light, but also sturdy... looks like it will last forever. I am not usually a fan of a white headset, but the color scheme on this works well. Performance. Sound is good for gameplay; balanced lows, mids, and highs, with good surround sound for immersion and situational awareness of other players. I love the sound control wheel; it’s great for quick in-game adjustments. Wired connection is great for reliability and cross-compatibility. I use these on the PlayStation, and increasingly now with my PC because my monitor does not have speakers, and my BT headset for the computer often fails to connect sound or microphone. This headset just works, all the time. Things I love: - It’s affordable! A nice change from electronics that just keep getting pricier - The head portion of the headset is comfortable; the floating concept with the mesh is a nice touch - The headband is adjustable! I didn’t see that right away and couldn’t figure out how to adjust the height initially - The sound is quite good, especially for the price - The volume wheel on the back of the ear cup is a really convenient feature - I love the flip to unmute / mute - Plug and play with any 3.5 mm connector; no charging or BT setup - Out of several headsets and headphones I have, this one is the most forgiving on putting pressure on my glasses, and then the glasses pressing against my head and giving me a headache - The microphone performs well enough Things I don’t love: - Not the best passive noise cancellation, but loud enough to overcome external noise, so it’s ok - The ear cup is on the smaller side… Probably great for some people, but they are not the most comfortable on my ears, even with memory foam. The fabric on the ear cups does feels nice. Overall, this is a good headset for the price, simplicity, and performance. If the ear cups were just a bit bigger, these would get 5 stars all around. Nevertheless, these are still pretty great for the price and for no-stress gaming, especially if you don’t normally do hours of continuous gameplay (or you have normal to small ears).

These headphones are color matched to the PS5, but I can't help but think R2D2 when I see them. the quality of the construction is quite nice and these are simple but sturdy and decently made. Wired with a 3.5mm jack for use with a controller, and no battery to charge OR go dead. the boom mic is sufficiently sensitive with a quality boom and swivel / flip mechanism that gets it out of the way when not in use, but also mutes the microphone, which I like. This headset is considered glasses friendly and the memory foam ear cups are accommodating of the arms of your spectacles. The attached cord is 4ft long which is appropriate for connection to a PS5 controller. A simple scroll wheel for volume control is also located on the left ear cup next to the cable connection for easy location. Overall these are comfortable and built well for wearing for longer sessions. Sound quality is decent with the 50mm drivers and the microphone is a good quality for voice use in gaming sessions. I would recommend these as a quality no frills addition for anyone's PS5.

The Atlas 200 is a sharp looking headset that has come in handy lately. They won't out perform my wireless headset but they are a great alternative for when my primary headset runs out of battery. The design is great and seems to me an homage to the first PlayStation colorway. The light grey and the royal blue are stylish but comfortable as well. The head band has a net type of material that helps make it comfortable for long time wear. The cushions are made to feel like super soft pillows on your ears. The audio quality is great, and the 3D features are on point and really effective. In my first person shooter game I can hear where the steps are coming from. The chat and audio feature is great as well, there's no difference for me between my wireless and wired headset. You can also easily flip the mic up to mute yourself. I did try my headset on a portable gaming console and the audio wasn't as good. So stick to the PlayStation for sure. I would suggest this for a new person to gaming or a headset that you want that you do not need to charge. It is comparable to other top notch headsets and will for sure be popular this Christmas!

    Not For Large Ears

First Impressions When I first unboxed the Turtle Beach Atlas 200, I liked how lightweight it felt. It has a mostly plastic build with a soft headband and memory-foam style ear cushions. The headset doesn’t feel cheap, but it’s clearly designed to be more functional than flashy. The detachable mic and the simple 3.5 mm connection make it easy to use across PlayStation, PC, or even mobile devices that support wired audio. Sound Quality For stereo sound, the Atlas 200 actually sounds pretty good. Dialogue and in-game effects come through clearly, and directional audio cues are easy to pick out, especially in FPS games. It’s not overly bass-heavy, so explosions and low-end sounds don’t hit with as much depth as higher-end headsets, but the mids and highs are balanced well for the price. Music playback is fine too — nothing spectacular, but clean and clear enough for casual listening. Overall, I’d say it delivers decent stereo performance for gaming and general use. Comfort & Fit Here’s where things get a little mixed. The ear cups don’t fully surround your ears — instead, they rest on parts of them. At first, this doesn’t feel too bad, but after about 30 minutes, I noticed some soreness around the edges of my ears. The foam padding is soft, but the pressure adds up over time. If you wear glasses, the headset does an okay job at reducing frame pressure, but it doesn’t completely eliminate discomfort during longer gaming sessions. Personally, I wouldn’t call these “all-day” comfortable. Short matches or quick sessions? Totally fine. Extended gaming? You’ll probably need breaks. Microphone & Controls The flip-to-mute mic is convenient and clear enough for in-game chat or Discord. It’s not studio quality, but it does the job for voice comms without much background noise pickup. The volume dial on the left ear cup is easy to reach, and there aren’t a ton of buttons to fumble with mid-game — simple and straightforward. Everyday Use The headset’s lightweight build makes it easy to wear and toss around, and the wired connection means no charging or latency issues. Sound isolation is average — you’ll still hear some ambient noise, but it’s enough to stay immersed in your game or movie. The main drawback is comfort over time. I found myself adjusting the ear cups often to relieve the pressure, which became distracting during longer gaming sessions. Pros • Good stereo sound for the price • Lightweight and easy to use • Clear mic for in-game chat • Plug-and-play compatibility with PlayStation and other 3.5 mm devices Cons • Ear cups rest on your ears instead of around them • Ear soreness after about 30 minutes of wear • Limited bass response • Not ideal for long gaming sessions Conclusion The Turtle Beach Atlas 200 delivers decent sound for a wired stereo headset, especially for its price range. It’s clear, balanced, and perfectly fine for everyday gaming or chatting. However, comfort is the weak spot — since the ear cups press against your ears, I started feeling sore after roughly half an hour. If you’re a casual gamer who plays in shorter bursts, this headset will serve you well. But if you tend to game for hours at a time, you might want to look for something with deeper, fully over-ear cushions for better long-term comfort.

Overall - The Turtle Beach Atlas 200 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset worked well – not a lot of bells and whistles with this basic headset. Bottom line up front – it has really good sound quality, was comfortable to wear (did take a bit of adjustment), and the mic worked well – no complaints from folks on the other end. Setup - As far as set up for use, not much to say – plug it in and it works, as far as fit, that took a bit of adjustment – nothing major, but just several iterations to get it right. Audio Performance - Audio quality was really good – not hi-fidelity level, but I was pleasantly surprised with the clean and immersive sound for the headset – from footsteps to explosions, it works really well. Microphone performance - This seems to work really well – other I have tried folks say it muted or sounds like I’ in a can, however not with this one – they commented that it was clear and not a lot of background noise – in this price range that’s a real plus. Just of note – one nice feature is that the mic is flexible, and you can rotate it out of the way when not in use. Comfort - Comfort is top notch – after getting the strap and everything adjusted, it’s one of the more comfortable headsets I’ve tried – of course, being wired, it’s fairly light and head headband and ear cushion were very comfortable. No issues, wear it for several hours straight Compatibility - While it says it’s for PS5 – which I tested it on – it also worked with anything else with the 3.5 mm jack – I used it directly connected to my PC and an audio device with no issues. Bottomline - The Turtle Beach Atlas 2000 works really well – good sound quality, great functioning mic, and really comfortable. The only drawback is that it’s wired – I never had any limitations with the wire, but it is there and could be in the way. Regardless, this is a top-notch headset in this price range

Sometimes in life the most basic barebones simple things can be great. This is the case with this headset from turtle beach the atlas air 200 are a very simple barebones headset, and guess what they are great. Let me start with the sound it’s very pleasant sounding headset that bring a you a lot of excitement when playing games. The bass is a little heavy especially for fps it can sometimes be a little tough when lots of explosions are going off but being able to tell where sounds are coming from is pretty easy ok this headset. My only complaint is when you put the volume up the headset can cause a little fatigue especially in the high end. But adjusting the volume with the knob the headset is very easy. The headset is extremely comfortable and light, if your someone that especially doesn’t like how heavy some of the wireless headset can feel than this headset is for you incredibly light and just feels like it floats on your head. The mic is pretty good, used it with some friends and no one had any issues hearing me, it’s not broadcast quality but it will get the job done without conplaints. Overall this headset is great package the value proposition on this headset is amazing especially if your looking for something to just plug in and play with.

It's actually nice to have a set of headphones that are not Bluetooth. That way you don't have to worry about the battery going out all the time. You don't have to worry about range, or charging. You simply just plug these into your PS5 controller and you're good to go for as long as the battery lasts in your controller or if you're using a wired controller, you can play forever, I guess. The sound quality is absolutely fine that's what I will say. I'm sure you don't expect stellar sound when you buy these, but what you do end up getting is very serviceable and usable sound. Everyone seems to be okay with me talking on the mic, they can hear me just fine. The build quality on these is again acceptable. They're gonna last you well into the ownership lifetime of your Playstation 5. I like the gray and blue colorway and Turtle Beach seems to be moving up in the world when it comes to peripherals for your computer and game systems. I really like the direction this company is heading and i'm looking forward to seeing where they go next.

I have been using the Atlas 200 for a few weeks now and I am really impressed. The sound is full and detailed with clear highs and strong bass that makes games feel more alive. Directional audio is great too. I can easily tell where sounds are coming from. The headset feels light and comfortable even after hours of use. The memory foam cushions do not get too warm and the floating headband adjusts nicely without squeezing. Build quality feels solid and the matte finish looks clean and durable. The flip to mute mic is simple but works perfectly. Voice pickup is clear and it mutes instantly when flipped up. Plugging straight into the controller makes setup effortless. No software or charging needed. The only gripe I have is the the headphone jack is a little here and there when playing. First off I'm used to wireless headphones almost exclusively since I've been gaming I can't remember the last time I used a wired one so they def have improved leaps and bounds but every now and again it will randomly disconnect. It has happened so much that i would deduct a star from it but hopefully it doesn't get worse. This might be a normal thing for wired headphones so maybe Im nit picking at this point.

TL;DR: SETUP: It’s super easy. Just plug the Atlas 200 Wired Over-the-Ear Headset into any 3.5mm jack or into your PS4 or PS5 controller. There isn’t any app or software needed. USE: Put them on, adjust the volume with the inline volume wheel, flip the mic up to mute and lower to unmute. USABILITY: Very comfortable and very good sound, especially from a budget headset. OVERALL: They don’t have the premium features, but do feel and sound premium. The sound and comfort are excellent. REVIEW: I was kind of expecting a pretty basic experience, but they are definitely an experience. They are comfortable, the audio is very good when chatting and immersive when needed. They don’t offer a lot of extras, but they don’t need to, as they just work and work well…actually much better than I expected. I was thinking they would sound hollow and tinny. They give a good immersive experience and are comfortable. I’ve worn them for a couple of hours at a time and my head doesn’t hurt. I really like them and have already recommended them to some friends, too. They are definitely a good buy.
