I bought this when best buy had it on sale for $130 and it has great value for the price when compared to other quality headsets. Has good sound, not amazing but good. The super human hearing function is awesome. Unfortunately due to my big head, the headset was pretty uncomfortable but the cushions felt great but after a while can make your ears a little sweaty. It ended up being a little to uncomfortable for me but it could be great for others.

First off. Currently at (3/14/14) the xbox headset adapter and controller firmware have problems and distort the sound for any device connected to them. Now this doesn't mean your headset won't work. Anyways, this head set is set at 160$, which for this price no other headset on the market is worth the same cost. Sorry 4shot adopters... You tried something new and got a weaker product for the same price as this excellent product. The design is sturdy more so than the 4 shot. The sound is excellent and doesn't have harsh treble like the 4 shot. It doesn't require batteries. No cords to the xbox console. And has a detachable mic along with a cord specifically for mobile devices. The cords are high quality wrapped and don't kink easily. The box that the headset comes in is perfect for storing the headset in when not in use. It includes a magnetic closing lid. Includes the USB cord to update controller(short 5" cord). This headset looks and feels like it will last me until the end of the system generation and even further. I had both the Polk 4 shot and the xo7's. Returned the Polk after testing them both.

Great at blocking out noise, sound quality is legitimate love the super-human hearing feature for strategy based FPS games. The headset is ear seals are leather, keeping it from getting gross from hours of gaming unlike cloth ear seals. Works with Xbox One Elite controller and doesn't need additional power to function. You can walk around with just the wireless controller and the headset on without having to worry about tripping on chords.

I have Turtle Beach headsets for my XBOX 360 and XBONE. These for the XBONE are superior in every way than those for the XBOX 360. They fit more comfortably on my head, the sound quality is better, and they use the controller battery as their power source rather than having to constantly change batteries (as in the XBOX 360 version). The only drawback is that the price is a bit steep compared to the XBOX 360 version.

The best thing about this headset is the sound. I like to play shooter games and I can hear everything perfectly clear. The second best thing is that it doesn't take any batteries and it is super easy to connect. All I had to do is plug it into my controller and my Xbox One did the rest. My buddies also told me that they can hear me a lot clearer too. I would totally recommend this headset to anyone. Its a great price for what you get.

I first tried the pol audio headphones that were terrible, so when I took them back I saw these babies calling my name. they are actually the headsets that they use in the xbox official competitions. I picked them up after I added an extra 40 bucks, but I have never been more satisfied. I have the triton wireless headphones for my xbox 360 and they were about 200, so for sixty dollars less these babies are on point.

These are more comfortable than any other headphones/sets that I own. The sound is great, the controller adapter is solid and works well, and the mic monitoring works well. The mic is very sensitive on the quiet room preset - you can almost whisper to it even with it 6 inches from your mouth. The medium preset is a good all-around preset, and I haven't had a chance to use loud room. I also use it for my phone now.

My head is a little larger than most (most 'fits all sizes' hats barely fit), so these headphones just barely fit. They would be more comfortable if I could lower the ear pieces. Other than that, these are great headphones. Comfortable, clear, fairly lightweight, and come with a bunch of options built right into the controller piece. They have changed my games significantly.

I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted from my interest in gaming headphones. I was directed to this pair by a BB associate and I am very happy with my purchase. They are comfortable, they sound great, and I can hear myself speaking while I have them on so I'm not yelling. If there is any problem at all, it's that I can't hear anything at all outside of my gaming....which is kind of the point.

Get great sound from these headphones while gaming and even when listening to music. I just wish the volume level was higher, find myself using the enhanced volume control (to hear footsteps in games) more often than not. But I like to immerse myself in the game so I play with a high volume anyways boils down to personnel preference I guess, definitely recommend though

Ability to utilize inline mic on iPhone for day to day business teleconference calls as well as a great comfort fit! It's like three headphones in way regarding utlization...I'm able to use it as my go to headphone at work for listening to music as well as attending teleconference calls. This makes it feasible due to the removable 'boom' mic. Then when I get home to Game on my Xbox One (FYI: LOVE TITANFALL = FUN) all I have to do is insert the boom mic; switch out the headphone cord and you are ready to go. Easy like 1,2,3. Great Price and Great Product! Again needs more color options and customizable features; other than that; you will get a Headset that is truly wireless sans the connection to your Xbox one controller. If you are looking at the cheaper XO Four version (MSRP: $99.99) I was considering it was well but what sold me on the XO SEVEN was the fact it came with an inline mic cord. Good luck!

The sound is great and the fact that it doesn't need a usb for power is great. It gets its power from the controller stereo puck. My only complain is the right ear cup squeaks anytime it moves in the slightest amount. So annoying while playing. If you talk, move, chew it makes the most annoying sound that is amplified like it is inside your head!

Bought these for my Xbox one and they work with my PS4 as well! You get a extra cable for phone and a inline microphone if you don't want to use the boom mic. Great sound super comfortable to wear for long gaming seasons they sound good with music and movies as well. Memory foam padded ear pads are great. Turtle beach is amazing you won't regret your purchase.

I purchased this headset after previously owning the Turlebeach Earforce XO Four which was a good headset. This headset was a bit more comfortable (XO Four felt tight and gave me headaches after extended use). This headset was a lot more comfortable and had far better sound.. It's definitely worth the extra money if your willing to spend it.

It's a great gaming headset, good probably the best stereo headset you can get right now. Nice features and Super Hearing feature is A+. the reason for my 3 start is the build quality, I started getting constant issue where my headset audio was totally gone in the middle of games (COD), on which I needed to disconnect the device totally from the controller to get it fix. Now, I have my controllers up to date and tried on more than one controller with same results. Also, if you have a big head, lol, don't get this headset, It's tight. It feel uncomfortable and I started to get headache after a few hrs of gaming. It will recommend to try it if you're a beginner or casual gamer like me. Sound it's better than the Astro A40 with the M80, but comfort the Astro is better. Quality is also questionable. If you do get it, buy the geek squad protection plan with it.

Great quality of sound. Plenty of sound settings to suit any gamers play habits. The superhuman hearing option is a cool option. I use the headset with my iPhone while I work on the yard too! Super comfortable for extended periods of time. Good stuff. If you are looking for a good set of Turtle Beaches, these are great for the price.

Read a good amount of review articles and watched plenty of videos on this unit before making my purchase. Seriously impressed with the amount of sound that the unit reproduces. The bass is amazing. Only downside is not having volume controls on the headset itself (comes on the included adapter piece).

They are extremely comfortable, easy to use, and the sound just beams right into your ears! It's like HD headphones. They're great to use if you want to watch tv, and your partner wants to sleep, or if you want to watch something on tv, that you don't want everyone in your house to hear. They're a really great buy.

I have owned headsets for my Xbox from all of the major brands (Triton, Astro, and Turtle Beach) I like Astro headsets but they come with a strong price. I purchased these to use temporarily but have quickly decided to keep them for the long haul. Solid build, good sound, and comfortable (this is very important).

I got this headset for a really good price as BB matched Amazon's price. I would call this a great mid-tier gaming headset. It doesn't compete with the AstroA50s but it comes quite close. I use these for both my Xbox 1 and PlayStation 4. There is a good deal of sound options and selections probably the best is the mic-monitoring feature which you can only use on the Xbox 1. This is definitely a great buy if your looking to upgrade from the basic headsets, my previous headset was the Xbox 1 Stereo headset.
