I have been using this headset on my Xbox One for a couple months now, and it has great audio. My guess would be that it is 5.1 surround, but with a little more. I enjoy how when playing online, you would hear the enemy on your left or right ear muff, depending in which direction your character is facing. This headset picks up crisp audio and has decent bass. Another few features is that it only has one wire that connects to your controller and it is very simple to adjust between game and party chat. It is powered off of your controller so no batteries. This is also an advantage if you have a play and charge kit. The XO sevens are a comfortable, simple, gaming headset with great audio.

As soon as you put them on it quiets the room noise and the sound is fantastic, outstanding for gaming. The connection device doesn't fit perfectly into the controller.

The sound is good, comfortable but they Creak. When you talk or move your head they start creaking. That's the only problem I have with the headset.

As soon as you put them on you'll know you made a good purchase. A little heavier then other turtle beach (XO1) head phones I've had in the past, but the weight makes it feel like a quality product. They sit comfortably on your head for hours at a time. Really good sound quality and mic seems top notch too. You might pay a little more then some less expensive alternatives out there, but its worth the price.

sound great for a stereo headset would only be better if surround/virtual surround. NO BATTERIES REQUIRED=AWESOME and no recharging runs off of controller batteries.

The sound quality is excellent and it's very easy to use. However, although it is adjustable, it does fit a bit tightly. Probably just needs to be broken in some.

These headphones are pretty cool, it cancels out background noises and also easy to use. I love the fact that it doesn't require batteries, that helps in saving money.

The sound quality is great! The comfort is great! They're not true surround sound, but I knew that when I bought them. As for durability... I'll find out!

It's not really fair for me to compare the TurtleBeach Headphones to my Astros - I picked them as my Road Warrior Temporaries while on the travel. They did everything, exactly as they should - they just didn't have the same quality/feel as my old Astros. Other gamers said the voice chat quality was good and I could hear just great. They weren't as tight fitting as I'd expected - and I don't like the faux leather (I'm not a fan of fake anything). I returned them, spent the extra $100 and grabbed the Astros with the Mix80... The TBs were great, just not a fit for me.

Had to return the first pair, but the second pair is holding its own. More than what I expected for the price. Sound & mic is clear. Comfortable fit.

I decided to go with this model as opposed to the less expensive one because of the feature that allows for more acute hearing when enemies are in close proximity. When engaged, I found this feature to not be so useful. Perhaps my ears are just not attuned for it, I don't know, but it doesn't seem to help me at all. Either way, this headset produces great sound! I'm told the mic comes through very clear on my friends TB headsets. I've even become accustomed to using the set along with the mic on my laptop as well. Great product Turtle Beach, as usual!

finally Turtle-beach came out with a headset for the Xbox one. Excellent sound quality. Doesn't leave marks on head or press on ears uncomfortably.

Pro - great sound, clear with good chat capabilities Con - mic would cut in and out after a month of use. No notification that the mic stopped working. Would have to reset entire xbone to try and get mic to work again. Sometimes it worked flawlessly for hours and then would cut out. Other times it would cut out right away. Took 2 months to get a replacement from manufacturer. My friend has had the same unit and has only had two occurrences where he had to do a full reset. Waiting to set up replacement set to see if the new set has the same issues.

The turtles have great sound. The best part no batteries!! They get their power from adapter on controller I guess. Very nice for the price

Thw fit and finish on the product is great. I can wear them for extended periods of time without any discomfort. Sounds quality is excellent as well.

I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. But this is one great product. It's wireless. .runs off xbox remote so no need to charge. Sounds is awesome

To me the sound quality is very good and they are comfortable. They do what you want, there may be better but these are more than good enough.

By far the easiest headset i have ever owned. Power by the controller so no batteries or recharging involved. Great sound and mic.

I have just fallen in love with gaming all over again! I love the rich sound and premium feel! I would recommend this product to a friend!

Great headset. Sound quality is mint. A little tight on my big head but the band is flexible so after a couple of weeks they fit great!
