Many appreciate the wireless functionality and find the price reasonable for the features offered. However, some users mention issues with the fit, suggesting it might be too tight for certain head sizes, and others express concerns about the volume level and bass response.

Great pair of headsets

I usually only use the headsets included with my gaming consoles, but I decided to go with a premium headset for my Xbox One. I was looking at Astros but $300 was just too much. For $160, the XO 7s have been fantastic for me from day one. Even if I game for hours they never feel uncomfortable.

The chat doesn't work...AGAIN! This is my 2nd set! I called Turtle Beach direct to fix issues and their only suggestion was to return them. Okay, but it won't be for another set! Horrible!!!

I bought these day one and returned day two, due to crackling noises while talking. They have since fixed the issue and they work quite well now.

Worst Turtle Beach Ever Used

This headset is the worst design ever created from Turtle Beach. For the price that you pay it should be better than the OEM headset that came with the Xbox One. The microphone is absolutely garbage. It requires you to speak well above a normal volume and produces a static nose if too loud. There is simulated surround sound at all nor any way to hear the detailed sounds that once made Turtle Beach so great. You can not hear the footsteps of enemies that you once were able to do.

My Ear Force X12 sound better. If you turn up the game volume the chat level goes down. I keep hearing static and popping noises. Called Turtle Beach that was a waste of time. I'm taking them back today and buying the adapter to use my X12's. Called Microsoft "we made the game not the headset, call turtle beach"

sensitive mic

Works really well. Sound isn't bad and doesn't get any easier to use. Mic is ultra sensitive though. Picks up everything which can be an annoyance to people. Ended up buying astro a40 and like those way better. The m80 mix amp blows the Microsoft adapter away.

These fit awesome. Nice and tight headset. The sound quality is decent. I wish there was a volume control on the headset itself. They also need to add the feature where you can hear yourself.

They were very comfortable. They sounded great. But they missed one thing. It's a big thing. You can't hear yourself talk! How can you expect to play Xbox one and not hear yourself talk to your friends! At the moment I do not recommend this headset to anybody until Microsoft comes out with a friends/chat software update where you can hear yourself talk!

first let me start out by saying that these are a high quality headphone. Quality was superb, although buyer beware. Turtle beach customer service is terrible. I had to ask a question in the form of an email, which takes about 12 hours for them to respond too. Could not get chat sound. Returned them based on that and i couldnt get them too work.
