Sound quality for small speaker good but does not hold charge while playing it loud

My son prefers to listen to music through his headphones, but this seems like a decent speaker and maybe he’ll give it a try soon.

This is a nice compact portable Bluetooth speaker. It’s a nice size to travel with, attach to a book bag or luggage for easy carry. I was surprised how loud it gets, good enough for a small gathering. Took it to the park and I was very happy with the sound. The battery hasn’t died on me yet, I used it on and off for about 3 hours. The design is ok. Not a fan of the big plus and minus sign right in the front to control it the volume. This is good option for quick, travel, portable use with good sound. It does lack some bass

Solid speaker but does not have good base. At this price the JBL is more worth your money

I bought this thinking it would be even louder with more bass than the original WONDERBOOM however its not. I compared both speakers using the same music source, settings, and room placement. Needless to say, I was not impressed. The ability to pair this with another UE speaker is nice (the first gen does not have this feature), but its not worth the extra money due to the subpar sound quality.

I was told that I can use it with my cell phone to make conference calls. But the speaker want work like that

This us my third UE Bluetooth speaker. I wanted one for the pool area that is waterproof. Let me tell you this is waterproof, while playing I dropped it into the pool. Never missed a beat, let it float for a couple of minutes then pulled it out. It continued to play flawlessly. Sound quality is very close to the boom and boom2 speakers I own, a little light on base but very clear and plenty of volume. You can interface and control the speaker from a tablet or smart phone or directly on the speaker. It played for 9 hours yesterday and the battery still showed 1/2 charge. Battery time is rated at 13 hours of play and I believe it will do that. Charging is done via a USB cable (supplied) however there is no AC adapter included. To charge mine I used the adapter for my original boom and it worked just fine. I imagine any phone or laptop charger would also do the trick. Great little speaker at a good price.

Bought this speaker to play music in the office. Nice sound

Clear sound but weak bass. Tried different styles but...

This was a total waste of money. First off, the quality of sound is amazing. It has a great balance of volume and clarity...... when it works! It constantly disconnects from bluetooth within 10-15 minutes of playing. Every. Single. Time. I have tried it on different phones and tablets and have unpaired it and paired it without success. Even if it's sitting next to the source, so it's not a distance problem. I am positive that it is defective because I've tried other bluetooth speakers with my phone (Galaxy S10) and my wife's and they all work flawlessly. I highly disrecommend this speaker. And yes, that is a real word.

Good speaker works well and because it is small it does not take up a lot of space
