Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Palm's size and camera quality, with many praising its compact design and decent photo capabilities. However, a significant drawback reported by customers is the subpar battery life. The lack of a headphone jack is another issue raised by some users.

I purchased my palm as a shared device. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I wanted the phone because of the size and convenience of being able to carry it in a small crossbody when I'm out with the kids, or in a clutch when going out for dinner, or attending a formal event. I have kids and I am on-call for work sometimes, so it fits easily in any bag or pocket, so I can carry it anywhere and not have to leave my phone home or in the car and take the chance of missing an important call. There is also accessories such as cases, screen protectors and even a Kate Spade wristlet which is cute and convenient. I love that I can pair it with my airpods, put it in my pocket and listen to music or talk on the phone discreetly. I can do just about anything on my palm that I can do on my Galaxy S9. Photos are decent. I even have my favorite game downloaded! The only drawback is the battery dies quickly with more than intended use. I just carry a small powerbank and I'm back with a full charge within an hour. I actually enjoy using the phone and I use it more than I intended to. It is small so someone with big hands would probably have issues texting. It is not for everyone, but I love the convenience and portability of it. My fiance is thinking of getting one to carry when he's wearing a suit or just to carry in his pocket for movie dates, trips to the mall etc. The fact that it is covered by warranty or total mobile protection sealed the deal for me.

(+) build quality is tight, feels good in the hand, capability is surprising, size is amazing (pocketability, one-handed use, wow factor). Really elegant piece, it's not for everyone but keeps me as connected as I want to be when I step out (runs, rides, gym, evenings out). All my necessary apps work with reasonable speed, this thing really delights. It's so dinky yet capable (-) battery life

    The beginning of something great.

This device is worth buying if you have these 5 things. Only if you have these 5 things. 1. Verizon wireless as your provider 2. A somewhat current android phone 3. You use messages+ as your texting app. 4. Have $150 in play money. 5. Afford $10/month for the number share feature. The phone itself is outstanding. It is considered a companion phone which means that my phone number is being used on 2 phones simultaneously. Similar to an LTE smartwatch. In fact, that's exactly how it works. Like my title states, this is the first of it's kind but mark my words, companies are working on their own proprietary devices. Normally the Palm device that I purchased is $350 + $40 activation fee + the $10/month for the Verizon service. Today I bought it for $150 + waived activation + $10/month. So far I have used it often. I am a contractor in need of the necessities throughout the work day. My note 9 is overkill and my thousand dollar phone is vulnerable to the elements. This distracts me, all be it minor, its still on my mind. The palm is a credit card sized phone and has what I need. 1. Texting capability 2. Phone 3. GMAIL 4. Everything my note has just inferior specs in comparison. Finally it is really cute. Cant believe I just said that but it gets alot of attention. People are interested in "different" especially when it's cool. Check it out... I am in no way recognized, paid, or compensated in any way, shape, or form for my review on this or any other reviews I give. I like cool and when its actually something cool, I like to share my thoughts...

this is an interesting device with decent specs for the price and the size. the main thing missing is the lack of nfc capabilities along with output of audio through the usb-c port so no wired headphones even with a usb-c to audio jack adapter unfortunately since there's no headphone jack available bluetooth only my friend. and the lack of nfc means no automated commands encoded to an nfc tag or sticker for use with this device which is a huge let down. so hopefully that will be available on the next version of this tiny handset if there is one. the size is nice despite my large hands and the handset looks quite comical in my hands and found it to be unlocked after removing the big red sim card which was expected and nice. so great backup and traveling device for a small footprint.

Not only is the Palm small and convenient to carry, it is quick and using it as a companion device doesn’t interfere with functionality. It does get considerably warm during setup which worried me a bit, but it has not had any issues with overheating. I am thoroughly impressed with this device.

The phone was the perfect size! I loved the design of the phone! It looked like a mini iPhone! But I couldn’t justify the price point when it’s not compatible with iMessage, and the battery life wasn’t the greatest! I would love if apple came out with like an iPhone mini, or if the Palm was more compatible with apple!

Great Companion - 1 big flaw

First, the Palm phone from Verizon is really a great companion phone. There exists one major design flaw for a companion phone. It DOES NOT include an NFC chip. As a result, you can use to pay using Google Pay. This surprised me. While I can leave my phone at home I must still carry my wallet to have access to cards.

This thing is tiny! I read the specs, but didn't realize just how small it was until I received it. It reminds me of that old scene in the movie Zoolander when he takes the tiny flip phone out. Its kind of a cool novelty, good for when I travel minimalistically. Its clearly doesn't take up a lot of space.

This little phone does almost as much as my other full size phones, and fits well into pockets. The sound quality is excellent, but headsets or external speakers must be set up by bluetooth as there is no headphone connection built in.

This little phone has been awesome. I find myself just using it even when I could take my S10+ . I love the size and its functionality. Initially I didn't think it would be worth the money, but i love it. The battery life could be better, it gets about 2 days, but it functions as its supposed to.

This tiny phone has been quite the game changer! It is great for on the go. It can do almost everything a normal sized smart phone can do which is amazing for such a small device! I love life mode which lets you stay connected to what's important without all the interruptions of what's not! I have purchased mine as a companion device and not a standalone for anyone that is curious and am enjoying it thus far. Big thank you to Kyle at the Rockwall location for being so helpful and patient with all my questions!

I love this tiny little phone. It works great for minimal usage, and can do the heavy stuff if you are willing to suffer with the small screen and tiny battery. If you just want a super small phone to keep in touch for an evening out, this is perfect. If you want to check and update your feeds all day and use just like any other phone, look elsewhere (or keep a charger really close).

    TERRIBLE battery life

The device itself only has one real drawback, the battery. It only has about an hour and a half of uptime with minimal usage. If you watch a 15 min video on this phone, expect it to be around 40% down from 100% when the video started. Now, I would only expect a silly person to buy this phone expecting to watch videos all day, that's literally not what it is meant to do, it is meant to get you away from staring at a phone all day. That is all fine and good, but Verizon wants you to think that the "Verizon only" Palm can only be used with their service. They are wrong, it can accept any major phone carrier's SIM. The trick is removing the SIM card tray. There is a youtube video teaching you how to do it, look it up. This device is NOT worth the EXTRA $10/month Verizon will charge you to have this as a clone device. "It can only be used as a clone device through Verizon." This is a lie, just put your existing Verizon SIM into the slot whenever you want to use it and it works like it replaced your current phone.

Bought this as a companion to my Galaxy so I don't break it when on the ranch. Not as easy to navigate and battery life is not great but it does work. I do get information from another number since this is just a ported phone. Been blocking those and they are starting to diminish. Not sure I would do it again but it was on sale I am not out too much.

So this is a real phone, running a full version of android, you can call text email, whatever even android auto. I use it as a companion phone to carry when physically working or doing dumb stuff when it's likely I could break my large phone. the battery is on the small size but if you get the juice pack case it will last all day.

I have been following the Palm since it was announced. During that time I have owned an apple watch then later a Fitbit Charge 3. I wasn't happy with either and I seem to be allergic to the aluminum. When i returned the charge I saw BB finally carried the Palm, bought it and find it has all the features I need. I am on my phone so much less. It isn't distracting either. Nor do i feel the need to Google every single thing or surf the web while I am at work.
