this soundbar is awesome for 150$ im replacing a lg 450w 3.1 channel unit i bought last year..and this vizio sounds way better. and has so much more options.voice dialog works pretty well..bass is impressive.. and is loud.(turn truvolume setting to on) ive had all kinds of home theater units over the years and vizio ones always sounds great..

Great compact sound bar. Needed a sound bar without the traditional subwoofer. This vizio fits the bill. I mounted it outside under my gazebo. Really nice sound. It gets very loud. Bluetooth, optical,hdmi options, etc.... Really nice price.... Have gotten many compliments on this sound bar. Great purchase!!

I got this sound bar to compliment my New TCL 43" LED 4K Roku TV because the TV speakers did not have that great of a sound, and both are about 36-37 inches wide. I have been using the sound bar for about 3 months now and I am very happy with the purchase and the sound with the built in sub is amazing. I would recommend using the HDMI input as it will allow you to use your TV remote to control the sound bar volume.

For the price this is an incredible sound bar. I have several Sonos bars in the house but bought this one to go with a new Visio TV. Super easy setup and it’s nice that I can run the Apple TV through the sound bar versus another cable to the tv. Has great sound and works with both homekit and google home.

The Vizio M21d-H8 soundbar packs in a plethora of features and good sound quality all for a good price. This sound bar is a 2.1 configuration and features 6 speakers (2 speakers, 2 tweeters & 2 subwoofers). Other features include HDMI in/out for an ARC connection with 4k HDR passthrough, Dolby DTS Virtual X, DTS digital surround, DTS TrueVolume, Dolby Audio, Bluetooth, Voice Assistant, Aux, Optical Audio and IR remote control learning so you can use your tv remote to raise and lower the soundbar volume. Also included was one hdmi cable, an optical audio cable, an aux cable, a rca to aux cable, remote with batteries and a mounting diagram with wall mounting slide on holders. When you first power on the soundbar it enters pairing mode which allows you to pair a bluetooth device to the sound bar; however, you must then switch the input on the soundbar to "Bluetooth" to actually stream the audio from your device even if it shows as connected on your device. The sound from the Vizio M21-H8 was clear, the bass was deep enough and the speakers got plenty loud for my viewing area of 11ft x 13ft. The small rubber feet on the bottom of the soundbar give just enough room for the bottom firing subwoofers to work their magic. The sleek design lets it disappear in darker setups as it's hard to make out the lines which I did like very much. Overall I'm very satisfied with the M21d-H8 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good soundbar that doesn't break the bank.

Excellent value! We recently purchased a 65 inch Vizio V series tv. However, the sound was disappointing. I stumbled across this gem and I’m glad I did. It was easy to set up. Took me less than three minutes. The design is sleek. The sound is immersive and doesn’t disappoint. This purchase was well worth it!

I absolutely love this sound bar. I bought it to replace an LG sound bar from three years ago. I live in a one bedroom 900 Square ft. apartment. It fills the apartment with so much sound. Definitely better than the T.V. Speakers. Movies, T.V. Shows and music sound amazing. I was skeptical but I am happy with my purchase. Set-up was easy and painless. All cables needed were included along with the remote and batteries. I used the optical cable and love my results.

Nice sound, the bass is excellent and you don't need an external sub-woofer, you save more space ...

This speaker turned out better than I expected. I didn't expect that much bass to come out of the speakers. It was very easy to mount on the wall and I have it mounted directly under my TV in the bedroom. I will definitely recommend this product for any small room.

I bought this as an open box purchase. I’m very happy with the full rich and warm sound. I have it hooked up to my 55’ M8 via HDMI-ARC. I don’t care for the dialogue setting as it sounds harsh and tinny. I set it to Game, VirtualX, and TruVolume. And I adjusted the Bass and Treble to 3/4. I would recommend either raising or mounting the sound bar for airflow as the center right side gets hot.

I absolutely love my Vizio sound bar! I’d recently purchased a new 43” Vizio TV to replace the smaller Vizio TV that I had in my home office. I quickly discovered that the sound quality of the larger TV was nowhere near the sound quality of the smaller TV. The new Vizio TV is super thin and the speakers are not the greatest. The Vizio sound bar adds a wonderful depth of sound to the new TV that is so incredible! At one point, I’d gone downstairs while Top Gun was playing on my TV. From downstairs, it sounded like fighter jets were actually flying over my house! That Vizio sound bar is absolutely amazing and I am so glad that I added it to my office entertainment setup!

Jeez, it’s crazy how a sound bar without an external subwoofer can sound better than one with. The speaker configuration in this thing is awesome for a bedroom or family room. Don’t believe me? Just play the opening scene from Top Gun and you’ll understand. I do love a good Vizio sound bar

The Vizio soundbar brought out my sound to my TV to where it is theater quality. The new digital remote is awesome. I had the one from the previous year it didn't have the Digital remote.

I bought this sound bar for my master bedroom because the TV speakers were not very good. I attached it to the wall underneath my TV. The installation and set up where very easy. I highly recommend this product and I am thinking about getting another one for my tv in the living room.

Nice sounding sound bar, Includes everything needed except the two screws to attach brackets to wall. The black fabric covering disappears in low light except for the very discrete led display.

Great sound. Got this for my TV Cart. It was a little tricky to get ARC to work with my Android TV. After some research I found out you have to power off another devices (cable & Xbox) until it is set up.

Has great sound but when I hook my ps5 to it .after like 40 mins starts to over heat and turn off and on by its self so I gotta use a separate HDMI port on the tv but besides that it’s awesome

Works perfect for what I needed. Just wanted a single all in one bar. This speaker performs well for the price and packs a good punch.

Wanted to match the spund bar brand to the tv. Sound quality lacked from day 1. 2 years later I have had to stop using the soundbar 3 times to manually perform firmware updates. Twice they worked. This time no luck. Vizio's answer for this through customer support is that this isn't common and tough luck. The sound bar has never been abused or even moved from it's original location but, it decides to go max volume at random times and I am not the only person with this issue. Just google and my advice find another brand. I have 2 best buy brand soundbars and they are still working even though the buttons are beginning to be problematic they are 4&6 years old respectively. The vizio soundbar is 2 years old.
