I did a great deal of research before purchasing this television. Hours spent watching various Youtube reviews, reading online avs forums and professional review sites. This TV was the best fit, on paper, for what I was looking for.... high peak brightness, excellent contrast, full array local dimming, Quantum Dots, Dolby Vision and 75 inches of pure deliciousness! I have had the TV for about two weeks now and I have next to no complaints. Love the TV to the point where I am probably getting fatter because of it. All I want to do is sit on one of the recliners and watch it. The funny part is I am watching anything and I do mean literally anything... mountain vistas, fish around coral reefs, the international space station....not to mention vibrant 4k HDR movies and action packed NFL football (thank you Lamar Jackson ;-) ), To be more serious for a moment, this television is all I hoped for. I visited the local Best Buy several times to check out the various sets on display. The picture quality on many of the 4K tvs was simply beautiful. However, I wasn't willing to spend more than my car is worth and since I tend towards a nervous personality at times I steered away from OLEDs and the potential for burn-in. After taking those two issues into account one television stood out in terms of pure visual performance, the Vizio P-series Quantum. The colors were so vibrant, thank you Quantum Dots, and the contrast was next level, thank you 240 zone full array local dimming. So enough of the new owner enthusiasm. Don't you think I would have some complaints? Really, the only complaint I have is that I can't add any additional apps to the ones already preloaded on the television. Sure, all of the popular ones are on there (Netlfix, Amazon Prime Video, Youtube, etc...) but I can't add NFL Network nor the new DIsney Plus. Adding a Roku device fixed that but it doesn't support Dolby Vision at this time. A small price to pay considering all of the other attributes that has me loving this television. A couple of other things to note..... Since purchasing this television I also added a Vizio 3.1.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar which was discounted 50% for Black Friday. It pairs perfectly with the television so now I have a stellar picture and stellar sound. I also added some bias lighting which looks really cool. My home theater room now rocks! Thank you Best Buy and thank you Vizio!

I got the Vizio P Quantum 75 inch tv. It's huge! Initially turning it on the color was off but after some color and setting adjustments it's just right. You can customize your own settings and name them to your liking. I love that! The picture is bright, and has amazing color with no fear of burn in from an overpriced OLED tv. I purchased during the Vizio black Friday in July event and the discounted price was well worth it. I would recommend even the 65 inch for anyone wanting to upgrade. I'm upgrading from one of the original 55 inch Vizio LED TVs from, I believe, 2010. Since my old TVs performance has held its own this long, I would stand by this brand for the next purchase. Downsides: *The home screen is cluttered with streaming options. (I wish there were dumb TV's to keep the price lower but this is what we get.) *The remote is simple but feels fragile. *HDMI port 5 is the only low latency option for gaming with a console. It's great that it has one but most homes now days have more than one console. You'll just need to manually switch the cable. Also to note, HDMI Port 5 does not support HDR gaming. Overall, it's a fantastic TV and I don't regret my decision and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a 240hz 4k LED TV 75 or 65 inch TV.

VIZIO P-Series Quantum 75" Class 4K HDR Smart TV | P759-G1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *****Review***** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vizio’s new flagship P759-G1 Quantum series is nothing short of amazing. The 759-G1 uses a technology Vizio refers to as ‘Quantum Color’, which uses quantum dot technology to deliver dark blacks and luminescent whites. The increase of dimming zones (240 in this model) also allows for the TV to really take advantage of the difference in light and dark scenes and giving the picture that extra ‘pop’. Vizio’s flagship TV also continues the familiar HDR10 variant, Dolby Vision, in this model. One of the amazing perks of having Dolby Vision is the dynamic metadata each scene contains; which essentially builds each scene to maximize the amount of brightness, contrast, color, and performance. Vizio also unveils their new SmartCast 3.0 with this model, that now supports Apple Airplay 2 and Apple Homekit. This was the extra cherry-on-the-top for myself since I live in an Apple Ecosystem (phone, tablet, watch, etc.) and being able to cast onto the TV removed another unnecessary device(AppleTV) from my setup. Partnering this with the built-in Chromecast has made cord-cutting even easier with all of the streaming alternatives (SmartCast 3.0, Apple Airplay). A concern one might have is the noticeable ‘bulkiness’ of the TV from a side-view. I would assume this is to be expected with the small bezels, 4k display, 75” size, and slew of features the TV has under the hood. However even with this bulkier size, the TV only weighs in at about 75~lbs with the stand, and 74~lbs without the stand. This is significantly lighter than most 4k 75” TVs on the market now. Overall setup of the TV was a lot easier than expected. On initial bootup, the TV will put you through the automated setup to connect to things such as WiFi, devices, etc. Responsiveness was considerably better than what I have experienced with other SmartTVs. Usually inputs take a few seconds to register, but my initial setup went through seamless. One of the benefits of this TV is also the support for dual-band WiFI - meaning it can connect to both a 2.4GHz or 5GHz channel. Once I was done with the setup, I began fiddling with the preset colors to see which best suited day-to-day viewings without having to flip back and forth and ultimately decided on the Movie template. For a preset template and not adjusting at all, the colors and imagery were absolutely amazing. In real world application, the Vizio P759-G1 lives up to its predecessors as one of the top TVs for gaming. Coming from a background full of fast paced games, low input lag, and relatively no ghosting… I had to of course test it with this TV. From racing games, to First-Person-Shooters, all the way to immersive open-world games - this TV kept up with its beautiful colors and little-to-none ghosting and input lag. In conclusion, if you’re in the market for a 4K TV, I would look no further than Vizio’s P-Series Quantum TV. The P759-G1 brings in two beautiful worlds: sleekness and performance. Compared this tv to my father in laws OLED and honestly can’t see a difference. 75” screen looks great in my family room and razor thin edge give it frameless appearance. Six months in and living it so far! Built in smart tv features are nice too

This TV was absolutely worth the money. Its picture quality and smart integrations make it easy to limit the number of inputs you have to wire into the back. We have it paired with a Sonos surround system and I am beyond impressed. The only thing I will say that is somewhat odd is that you can not add certain smart apps to the dashboard like ESPN+. If they can fix that I would say its the perfect TV.

This hooked up with no problems, works great. Picture display is phenomenal, HDR compatible with PS4 pro. I'm so glad I picked this 75" TV for my entertainment center.

The Vizio P Series Quantum Series is one of the best Smart TV’s out there. You don't have to spent $3,000 to enjoy the futuristic services and performance of a smart TV. Very user friendly and the processor performance wont leave you hangin. All the applications and system services are completely outstanding. You don't need an apple tv device to mirror your phone. Completely plug and play specially using the Airplay. As a I.T. Ive used Vizio brands for a long time, The life of their products Are out of this world. You wont have any performance issue even if your TV is almost 10 years old. They give you more than what you pay for. For Vizio Good Job on keeping your integrity with your products... I purchased this P-series while i still have my OLD Vizio cause this P-Series have the latest technology and services that i need.

Excellent picture quality. So lifelike. Many apps to choose from too! Sound could be better so we connected to an entertainment system. Would definitely recommend!

Recently was forced to upgrade to this TV after my 7 month old p75-f1 died unexpectedly....our cabinet literally only fits this set within our budget and we were thrilled when our local store had the newest version of our dead tv in stock...and the dimensions were exactly the same! We bought it the same day and had it delivered the next...all under our Geek Squad warranty. So the tv setup went flawlessly but first night we noticed this happening and now we keep seeing it pop up in dark scenes from different movies. All content is coming from AppleTV 4k....both movies we’ve noticed the behavior on were 4K, Dolby vision content. The exact same movies never looked like this on the older dead model....so this is new to just this TV. The problem is duplicatable too...meaning I can play the entire movie and every time it’s the same parts of the movie. In the pictures attached you can see how distorted the image becomes...and it will revert back to normal and back to being all screwy-looking again multiple times in the same scene. Has anyone seen this? Vizio - is my new, new tv, broken too??? Because if it is things aren’t looking good for me and this brand .......

Really good tv for the price, but too slow when it is turned on compared with other brands

As in home entertainment of all kinds becomes more easily accessible, the desire for a large Home TV has become much more common. Whether its Movies, TV shows, Sports, or Video games - we use these for so many things in our life. Vizio has become a well-recognized quality TV over the last handful of years, but with these new Quantum P-Series TVs - I believe they have vaulted themselves into a higher tier. SET-UP, REMOTE, & PORTS: - Set Up can be intimidating with any device but Vizio made this whole process very smooth. The main concern would be you need 2 people to carry the 75" TV Box and get it set up out of the box. They provide an easy way to do this with lots of built in padding though. The Legs they provide don't seem as premium as other TV legs I have seen but they work well and look fine for what they are needed for. After you have the TV right to power on, it's a very simple set up. Vizio makes everything very smooth with their on screen step by step instructions. - I was not overly impressed with the remote control. It's nothing fresh to look at, it does not have voice control, and it has to be pointed at the TV to work which is becoming less common with remotes these days. It does the job and is easy to use, but for this TV's price point I expected something more innovative. I would recommend downloading the Vizio Remote Control App on your phone which is much more useful. - The TV has a really nice assortment of ports like Antenna/Cable Line, USB, Optical, Ethernet and 5 HDMI ports. Its important to note that only HDMI's 1-4 support 4K and HDR. HDMI 5 does not support HDR and is mainly used for low input lag viewing like on 1080 SDR video games HDMI 1 does support HDR but it is deemed as the only "ARC" compatible input. DESIGN: - The 75" TV is really sleek to look at. You would think being a 75" TV that it would be really big and bulk but its overall very slim and the Bezel's around the screen are virtually non-existent. So overall its nice that the TV has a big impact while providing a little footprint. - The Power Cable and HDMI Inputs are located on opposite sides of each other on the back of the TV. This shouldn't be a huge deal but if you were to mount the TV and wanted to conceal the cables you would have to run them to a common spot together - also the Power Cable is short which limits positioning. - Also on the backside of the TV is the speakers and small power/volume/input buttons in case you lose the remote. APPS & INTERNET: - Let me start with a disclaimer: in my opinion if you are going to spend $2,500 retail on a 75" TV, I do not think you are buying it to rely on the TV's smart apps. They are a nice benefit to have but ultimately I believe people will plug in their Disc Player, Cable Box, Streaming Device, or Video game console. You get the most out of your 4K HDR TV when you use external input devices like those and it’s what I believe most people will do. - Vizio does a nice job incorporating a Smart TV part of the TV. You could open up this TV and never hook anything up to it and be fine with Netflix/Amazon Prime/Vudu/Youtube/Youtube TV already installed on it. The apps work well enough and provide great quality. But…there are still some setbacks. The Smart TV Home screen feels more like a big advertisement than a personalized home screen. You can't uninstall apps you are never going to use, there is no App Store to install apps you want, and the menu is pushing shows/movies that you might not care about. On top of that it still is a little laggy at times to maneuver around the menu and in-between apps. - I will say though that the WiFi is really strong in this TV. My TV was located away from the router and I was still able to stream Dolby Vision movies with no issues! Of course if you want even faster, they have an ethernet port. - A really great feature in my eyes is the "Smart Home" compatibility. The TV works with Chromecast, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple Airplay. So when the TV advertises you can stream thousands of apps on it, it means through casting features via Chromecast or Airplay. Regardless, Vizio did a really great job making it all encompassing so you can use it with whichever ecosystem you are most comfortable with. PICTURE: - Finally, to the main reason you spend big money on a big tv: the picture quality! Let me first confirm that this TV is a 4K HDR TV. It supports Dolby Vision, 120 Hz in 1080 and 60 Hz in 4K, Chroma 4:2:2 & 4:4:4 (you have to set the TV to "Computer Mode" to get 4:4:4), and HDR 10 standards. - Vizio has a handful of preset picture options you can select from. My personal favorite was "Vivid" but I did find something interesting: when going from a standard show to a Dolby Vision show, the TV automatically updates the screen settings to work better with Dolby Vision. It was still set to "Vivid" but it changes all the picture settings slightly to improve the quality. It looks good either why but I'm curious why Vizio wouldn't keep those settings all the time? Another big positive about this TV is it performs really well in a room with plenty of light. - I tested a Dolby Vision Movie and my first impression was….is it on? I soon found out that the Blacks are SO dark that it's hard to tell the TV is on during some scenes! Seriously, I was blown away at how incredible the HDR works on this TV with the Highs and Lows. It makes the bright scenes crisp and vibrant, and the dark scenes consume how intense it can be. The colors were very bright and colorful as they should be - but this is important to know because some 4K HDR Tv's can't get this down and Vizio NAILS the HDR factor with how life like everything seems when watching a Dolby Vision movie. - Outside of Dolby Vision viewing, the TV does a wonderful job with 1080 programing. I tested out streaming services and Antenna viewing, both were impressive. You can tell a big difference compared to a normal 1080 tv, because this Vizio helps pop the color and resolution by upscaling the 1080 to provide an even better image quality. The Motion Blur was little to none on this TV as well, when it came to both sports and gaming which are the typical motion blur suspects. Which speaking of gaming, Video games are a real treat on this 75" TV! It really makes you feel immersed into the game itself and the colors and clarity are exceptional. - However, as is typical on 4K HDR TVs - 720p and 480p programing does not look great on this TV. Vizio tries to upscale it to make it look better but it never turns out great. Its watchable but when you have such great 1080 and 4K HDR viewing, its noticeable that you are taking a step down. On top of that, there isn't as great of a viewing angle as some TV's but I did not find it to be a huge issue. The TV is 75" and it's pretty hard to miss. SOUND: - Another disclaimer: just like with the Smart TV aspect, I don't assume many people who shell out $2,500 retail for a 75" TV are not going to hook it up to surround sound. There are so many great sound bar/system options these days that its hard not to want to get something like Dolby Atmos. That being said…. - I was actually pleasantly surprised with how good the sound was on the TV. Usually you don't get great sound quality from TV's these days but this was very crisp and clear. It does not much bass but it gives good clear audio that make for easy viewing capabilities. It also gets really loud! It fills a room without even getting close to the 100 level peak volume. - If you wanted to hook up surround sound, it does have Digital Optical, HDMI ARC, and Analog Audio Out hook ups for whatever you may want to use with it. BOTTOM LINE: - If you are shelling out money for a 75" TV, you would be very happy with the investment in this TV. The 4K HDR picture quality is a movie theater level experience, there are Smart features that add to ease of use, and it’s a really high end product to see in your room. Vizio has made a big move into the Home Theater Game with this 75" P-Series Quantum TV and I think they are here to stay.

Bought the 2 year warranty. 2 years and 1 month the screen gets all these lines over it. When I first noticed it I just thought it was the art style of whatever show I watched. Horizontal lines on every input and even the Vizio boot logo. Support was no help; they got their money. Also, incredibly annoying that it always jumps back to the sluggish home page when I switch inputs before my device is booted. I put it on the input I wanted it on.

This TV has exceeded my expectations by a mile! All without it’s faults though. I have to say that this TV is worth the money and if you’re on the fence, do some research and make your decision. There are so many specs and options that come with the P series that don’t come with other TVs is incredible. Comes fully stocked with HRD10, Dolby Vision, quantum dots, ETC. Set up is easy but user interface is a bit sluggish. Also, it takes about 15-20 minutes to get everything updated and installed for use. I recommend getting a Fire TV 4K or Roku streaming device. The Smart cast is nice but isn’t responsive enough for my liking. Other than that, this TV is AMAZING!!! The details and color depth is incredible! Super deep blacks and ultra vibrant colors really do this TV justice and gives other high end brands a run for its money! In recent years, Vizio has been scaling up their efforts to compete against the mid/high-end TV market with improved display panels, feature-rich software, and other premium features. And while they’ve certainly made great strides in their display technology, they still have some work to do in software to make their “Smart TV” more enjoyable to use. SETUP (2/5): The TV arrived via freight, and the driver was kind enough to help bring it into my home. Had he not been able to help me, I would have dealt with much more frustration in getting the box up my porch steps and into my living room. Setting up the P759-G1 by myself was a bit of a challenge since I don’t have great upper arm strength, so I’d recommend setting this up with another person. That being said, I was able to get it set up by myself with some perseverance. Using the included legs would be pretty simple to install, but my TV stand/furniture is about 58” wide, while the P759-G1 is 65.76” wide (including the legs). Thankfully, I was able to purchase a third-party VESA stand online which reduced the width between the legs—making the TV fit comfortably on my furniture. SOFTWARE (3/5): Once I got the TV set up and ready to go, the software introduced me to itself. While I won’t delve into the nitty gritty details of the software, I will say that the “SmartCast” software is substantially better than software you would typically find on very low-end, budget-branded 4K TVs. However, the fluidity/performance of the software was about the experience you’d find on sub $1K TVs with Android TV or WebOS. Personally, I would have preferred the latter two software experiences over SmartCast since I was already used to them and found them to be more responsive and more feature-rich. That being said, I would say the app offerings provided in SmartCast were good (e.g. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Vudu, Crackle, Plex & more), and the support for Google Cast made it easier when it didn’t have an app I wanted. However, having a web-reliant OS like SmartCast heavily diminishes the UI if the Vizio’s servers have an outage. On my 2nd and 4th day of using the P759-G1, I experienced some intermittent service which effectively took away the entire UI minus the system menus. During the failures, I wasn’t able to use any apps or Google Cast—I could only use my 4K Blu-Ray Player and its apps. The first time, I ended up calling the Vizio support team who had me perform a factory reset (which I was reluctant to do since I’d have to redo my settings and log back into all the apps). This ended up resolving my intermittent service after resetting and performing a software update, but the whole endeavor really showcased how the whole SmartCast UI relies on an internet connection. The second time I experienced intermittent service, I ran “System > Reset & Admin > Soft Power Cycle”, which got SmartCast back up and running. When SmartCast 3.0 works, I don’t mind it, but you could just use a separate device like a Chromecast, Apple TV 4K, Android TV or Roku. Lastly, you can connect the TV to your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant accounts to enable casting content, powering the TV on and off, and controlling the volume. And later this summer, the P759-G1 will be getting Apple Airplay 2. DISPLAY (5/5): Now that I’ve touched on the software, let’s get to the most important part of this TV—the display panel. While the P759-G1 doesn’t use an OLED panel, it uses Vizio’s “Quantum Color” technology and has 240 local dimming zones to improve contrast across the display, provide deeper blacks, and render more vivid colors. In order to best take advantage of the display, I watched Ex Machina, Jumanji, and Lucy—all via 4K HDR Blu-Rays. After watching all 3 movies from start to finish, I was impressed by the representation of the films on this display. Normally, I watch films via my projector, but this Vizio delivered a very immersive visual experience that I’d not yet experienced on a TV in my own home. The dynamic range was excellent with rich, vibrant colors coming to the forefront while also very capable of rendering deep blacks. On most other LCD displays, you would see the backlighting illuminate through a black background, but this LCD panel was impressive in its ability to represent darker colors and blacks more like an OLED panel while simultaneously being able to render brighter colors on the display. For most content, I think people will be very happy with this display. When it comes to the SmartCast UI, I do see some instances of the “halo effect” on the loading animation. But when I’m actually viewing content, the display is fantastic. On top of that, the resolution is fantastic, especially on a 75” panel where it really makes a difference. If you are coming from a smaller display, this display will impress you. I’ve been using 49” and 55” 4K TVs in addition to my high-end 1080p projector (which accepts 4K input) on a 135” screen. For me, this 75” display provides a great balance of having a cinematic experience like my projector, while still fitting into my living room area. While my projector is fantastic for displaying much larger images, it comes at the cost of resolution. And while my 49” and 55” 4K TVs are smaller, the resolution is more difficult to discern against 1080p at greater distances. But this 75” Vizio is unapologetically high resolution, and there’s no question about it whenever I look at it. This Vizio has a 120Hz native refresh rate, which is great for gamers and for other high refresh-rate content likes sports content. Speaking of gaming, it also has a “Game Low Latency” mode which reduces the post-processing and delivers better input latency. I play games on both PC and console and had no problems playing games on this TV thanks to this setting. Definitely one of the best gaming experiences I’ve had on a TV thus far, as I usually game on a 1440p ultrawide monitor for PC and my projector for console gaming. SOUND (3/5): As far as the integrated sound is concerned, I’m not too surprised. A large format TV like this (especially at this price) is really not intended to be used with integrated sound for the ultimate experience. In short, it’s mediocre, but I’ve experienced much much worse. High-end TVs these days are integrating sound bars and other innovative sound technology, but Vizio opted to keep things simple and focus on the display. If I didn’t already have an excellent soundbar system, would I be itching to purchase a new sound system for this TV? Well, if I was already going to pay out the price for this TV, I probably would be going to the extra lengths to ensure my audio experience would lend to that extra sense of immersion. Thankfully, like most modern TVs these days, the P759-G1 has an HDMI port with an Audio Return Channel (ARC) on it, so once I plugged in my soundbar via that HDMI port, all the sound was routed directly to the soundbar, and I was able to control the volume through either the TV remote or the soundbar remote without issue. CONCLUSION: In the end, I think the P759-G1 has an excellent display that approaches the territory of OLED without the super high-end price—especially for a 75” television. It gets incredibly bright for true HDR content, unlike budget midrange TVs which claim to do HDR, but often max out at an unimpressive 400 nits of brightness, while this Vizio boasts up to 1200 nits of brightness for a true HDR experience. So don’t be fooled by all the budget TVs claiming to also do HDR because there truly is a difference. That being said, while I love the display, I do feel as though the price is not as competitive due to the less reliable software experience I encountered. If Vizio improves upon the software to provide a more fluid, reliable entertainment experience, I would give this TV a definitive recommendation. But as it stands, I might recommend a set top box like an Apple TV 4K, Android TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, etc. for those looking for a more fluid interface with a better ecosystem of software support and other features. Thankfully, you can acquire such devices for as low as $40, but some will prove better than others depending on your needs. So if you’re looking for a great 75” 4K HDR TV with a focus on delivering the best display panel but don't mind the compromises in "Smart TV" features and onboard sound, this Vizio should be on your list of considerations. But if you’re looking for a TV that focuses on providing a consistently great experience across the spectrum of software, visuals and sound, it’s probably worth looking a bit further.

the 75 inch Vizio Quantum P series. WOW was I really surprised!! This Vizio TV is insanely bright and crisp with deeeep blacks! I read the reviews and took a chance on this Vizio. I'm totally in love with this TV. Out of the box the colors are dead on and I actually had to dial down the color, brightness, backlight and contrast. The motion smoothing and SDR upscaling seems to work well. The only small bad part is no voice commands on the remote and the apps load a little slow. Other than that good job Vizio at making a great product that simply blows away the higher end competition in this price range of 1600 dollars. It is just as good as the 2500 dollar Sony 950! I actually exchanged the Samsung ru8000 series due to the Samsung being very dim and dark only around 600nim light output. Just not enough light to produce the bright colors in HDR mode. My room doesn't even have any windows in it. The TV's colors are way off out of the box especially in SDR mode. I spent 2 hours fully calibrating the advanced color settings and finally got the colors to look decent with good reds and skin tones. Took a lot of work to get it dialed in. Out of the box the reds were blown almost pinkish faces and lips had way too much pink and blown out. Also had to disable all the screen smoothing and studer software to stop the horrible giter and jumping in SDR mode. The TV does look good in HDR mode but just doesn't pop the colors due to the low light output. I simply expected Samsung's flagship ru8000 nonQLED 75inch TV to perform better than this!! The Vizio outperforms the Samsung hands down! I am now very happy with my Vizio TV!!
