My first 4K movie purchase. Great visuals. Dark story.

Interesting, with much to say, although a bit slow.

I don't think that they could do a better job than they did with DAWN and RISE, however they did. The added bonus of he bluray is great as well since I can rip them and add them to my digital catalog with all the glory of surround sound. The cast is awesome and the movie set is wonderful. I'm sad to see this trilogy end. Hopefully someone will reboot it and take it in a different direction to mix it up. Heres to crossing fingers. If you have an UHD PLAYER get this.

Its has great picture. Down side is you need to read the boxes carefully. Not all 4k movies have the 4k digital download which kind of ticked me off. Yes this come with digital down load but its only a hdx download not UHD. The 4k movies have a slight change where the digital copy is at on the top right of front cover. Any 4k movie box that says 4k+blu Ray+ digital means that the digital copy is only HDX. Of the box says digital HD then its a UHD digital copy.

My son and I watched this movie together. We have seen every Ape movie in the franchise prior to this one. About 20 minutes in we both looked at each other and said, "is this it?". Then the story fully reveals itself and gets really good, I mean really good. After this revelation, it makes sense what was happening in the beginning. Excellent movie indeed. 4K presentation is just perfect.

Good movie but not as good as the first two. Still worth watching.

This is the final chapter in the Planet of the Apes Saga and it does not disappoint. This movie pits man against ape and all-out war between them. Andy Serkis does a masterful job in portraying Caesar and Woody Harrelson plays the ruthless Colonel. A must have for the Planet of the Apes collection.

This is my 3rd purchase of a UHD Blu-ray and I must say even though I enjoy it the resolution difference is very minor to my blu-ray since my Receiver and UHD TV does such a good job up converting to 4k. However, I still think its worth the value plus to get the Bluray version also is nice! Well worth the money and the movie was great too!

The first film, Rise, was better than I'd expected. It's follow-up, Dawn, was incredible, in my opinion. This film isn't quite to that level but close. Confusingly, those expecting a "war" movie may enjoy "Dawn" the most. This is a bit of a war movie but owes a debt to "The Great Escape" and the like. By all rights this reboot series is far better than I'd ever expected. As to the disc's presentation, it's a solid 4k release. Well above average, though it's more muted palette doesn't make the HDR "pop"

Huge fan of this series and Woody did a great job as a villain. There is a lot going on in this movie and the imagery is amazing. Character development is so strong you will forget they are not human and you will feel every emotion the movie throws at you.

The modern APES movies keep getting better, and WAR is easily the most powerful of the bunch. Incredible effects, explosive cinematography and a story so emotionally affecting, you'll forget you are watching motion capture come to life. One of the best movies of the year, and an absolute must own on UHD.

This was an outstanding move. I would say that it rivals the 1st movie of the series. The plot is a little weird, but it explains the beginning of the ape dominance and the end of the human dominance. Caesar is the man, I mean, ape! This movie also has the best CGI so far. You have to have this in 4K!

I bought this 4K movie for my 4K Blu Ray Player as they were on sale for Black Friday. Great buy. Since they were on sale for Black Friday the price was great but the Blu Ray version would suffice. The movie itself was a great story. I liked the Easter eggs to the original movies.

This was without a doubt, one of the best movies of the year and certainly the best of the new Apes trilogy. Andy Serkis continues to be fantastic and Woody Harrelson has another stellar performance. With a great soundtrack and stunning visuals, this is a must see.

I purchased this movie because I loved the story line of Cesar. I wanted a 4k version and it delivered. I have SONY 75' 4K Smart TV and my dvd player was my SONY PS4 Pro. It was so clear and made me feel good that my purchases lived up to their billing and hype.

The new Planet Of The Apes films are one of the few trilogies that have gotten better with each film. War was a fitting ending and the 4K allows you to view it in the best way possible so you won't miss a thing. Not trying to spoil it, but watch for the "twist"!

I have always been a planet of the apes fan and this movie series was excellent. This movie caps it off really nicely and it looks stunning on 4k. I'm really glad this new trilogy turned out so good. Hopefully we will get more Planet of the Apes in the future.

I was an avid fan of the original movie collection. I am an avid fan of this remake collection as well. Very rarely can a remake be as epic, if not more than the originals. These movies are a very impressive re-rendering of those timeless classics we all love.

So often trilogies are a letdown. Even some of the greats like Star Wars have movies that missed the target. This trilogy with Cesar was probably the best when it came to consistent quality. Definitely worth watching and the picture quality is great in 4K.

Bought this for 2 reasons - 1st is the movie itself - love the Planet of the Apes reboots - this is a fantastic movie. 2nd is 4k - though this is only a 2k DI master (not true 4K) it still is an upgrade over the bluray alone - the detail is astounding.
