I bought this Waykar unit to replace another brand that I had used for my basement at a previous home. The old unit was way too noisy to use in my new home and based on reviews, I purchased this model for a more quiet experience. It is way better than my old unit. I can let it run all day without being bothered by the noise. Its more like a box fan noise verses a small aircraft. I love the digital screen for displaying the humidity levels and ease of adjusting to my desired level. I do wish it would have an automatic shut off for when the reservoir was full and not have to check it to see if it is in need of emptying.

Purchased dehumidifer a few months ago and it is working great. Had a musty smell in finished basement, set it up for 30% humidity with drain going to pit for sump pump. Within a day of setup the musty smell dissapated. Over several rainy days i have had no issues with moisture. This works very well serving ~1000 sq ft basement. I dont have to dump out the bucket making for very convient setup.

Had to replace the old dehumidifier that barely did its job. Decided on a long term solution and brought the waykar, it might’ve been an over kill to go with the 150 pint but it was super easy to set up and did its job within a second. The cold and wet dampness is no longer a lingering problem for me!

I bought this dehumidifier for replacement of my old LG 50 pint. I wanted to be enough powerful to dry down the air under 40% easily at 68 - 70 degrees and it does the job well. It's almost the same size as the 50 pint LG, but a little quieter than the LG. I didn't try the +/-5% automatic function, because 5% is too much for me. I have to put it at 35%, so it gets off at 30% and starts at 40%, something that I can't achieve in the North East with our humidity outside, even in a brand new house. I keep it on CO "continues mode" until I think to stop it around 35 - 36% 3 fan degrees, the air goes out a little in an angle. I liked it so much for the price, size and job done, that I bought one extra for the basement to replace my working Whynter 50 pint that struggles to go down 40% in around 68 degrees and under. Not surprised that the model is out of stock right now, buy it when you can, you won't regret it for drying your place with ease below 40% The units were shipped well packed with stripes from the seller, so they are kept straight up during shipment and arrive in good condition protected. Don't forget to unpack the unit and let it "rest" for 24 hours before starting to use it!!

Been using for about 2 weeks. Runs quietly and easy to use. My other one ran all the time and this one does not while still keeping the humidity low.

I bought the Waykar dehumidifier, and it works great! I placed it in my basement, which tends to have high humidity. After just 30 minutes of running, the moisture and musty smell were gone. It’s also surprisingly quiet. Definitely a great purchase!

the dehumidifier works great! amazing to see all the moisture it captures out of the air. larger capacity also helps so dont have to empty so often

We are very pleased with this Waykar 7,000 sq. ft. dehumidifier. It works great for our 1,120 sq. ft. basement and we are able to maintain a constant 45% humidity. Most notably it moves a lot of air compared to others we have tried. This is how big we had to go after trying 2 smaller units. Be sure to read the capacity ratings in the specifications before choosing any dehumidifier. The new capacity ratings are greatly exaggerated in most real world applications.

This unit bring down humidity in the lower level in my home fast. Quiet I have had 4 different humidifiers before this and this one crushes them all. Can not say enough about this unit. Love the auto shut off never freezes up. best unit on the market. Customer service fast response. Would highly recommend

I purchased this dehumidifier a month ago. I hooked a garden hose up to it so it could drain out the floor drain. It has been working perfectly without any problems. I have it set at 45 for the basement in a Minnesota home.

We are very happy with our Waykar dehumidifier. It works great for our whole house and removes the moisture so our air runs more efficiently.

Works well in basement to reduce humidity. Received good customer service when notified company of unit having cracked bucket leaking water. They quickly shipped another undamaged bucket for unit that solved the problem.

So far a very useful and reliable dehumidifier that offers greater capabilities at a lower pricepoint than its competitors. A little noisy and runs a little warm but not enough to be a bother, especially considering how well it is preventing mold growth on the window sills.

We probably got a little bit overkill for our size of home, but in my opinion, the dehumidifier works very effectively! We had to shut it off after just a couple hours because it was drying things out too much.

Not ecomended it keep on erroring out. Good thing is that they provide long warrenty I have to call them.

I have owned several different brands of dehumidifiers in the past. This dehumidifier is with out a doubt the best one I have ever owned. 1) Excellent at removing moisture. 2)Quite. 3)The humidity indicator also determines humidity level below 30%. Up to this point I would recommend this product.
