This is a fantastic unit. Simply plugged it into a USB 3.0 port, and it was immediately recognized. Transferred files to be backed up and the data transfer occurred very quickly. About 3/4 of the capacity is now occupied, and I'm considering buying another one for additional back up purposes. You won'take a mistake owning one of these.

Overall very good storage drive. After a couple of months, it is still working perfectly. It is true that for 2TB I thought it was enough but my work as a photographer requires a little more capacity. So far so good, it serves to move many projects for my clients and share large files with photographer friends for whom I do independent work.

Excellent price. USB 3.0 a big plus. Not as fast as SSD but can't beat the price or capacity for the price!

Been using it for 2 plus years for video file storage and editing. Fast and reliable drive, exceptionally good considering its 10 bit 4-2-2 footage

Overall great external hard drive, had to format it on my pc and then boom automatically pulled up on my PS4.. works and saves great

I'm using this to back up my files. Easy to use, and small enough that I can just put on top of my computer for easy access.

The 'WD - Easystore 2TB External USB hard drive' is one of my easier recommendations to people. I work full time, and being able to be mobile and have my work portable is a must. Utilizing this small device is essentially the face of my brand. It's worked great so far, no complaints. When I want to work at my PC, I simply plug it in and get to work. And then when I wish to be mobile (I.E working at the diner) I simply pack it up and plug it into my laptop. I HIGHLY recommend this product. :)

Great product!! I almost got a hard rive with 1TB for $5-10 less. makes more sense to go with this one !
