Spacious and portable, but not the fastest

I was surprised to find this 2TB model for only $10 more. It's a small package, but surprisingly heavy. I wonder if there are two drives on the inside that are hardware-spanned. Anyway, a solid performance so far (2 days), but not the fastest at booting my laptop.

Bare WD bones drive, but fully functional. Moderately sturdy build, secure cable connector. Easy no-hassle plug 'n' play in my Windows 10 PC. Triple-digit read and write speeds on larger files. A little pokey on mass transfer of smaller image files I blitzed the unnecessary WD backup software pre-loaded (trust me, if you know what you're doing. you don't need it). Highly recommended.
