Simple to use and setup. Durable and lightweight for travel. Powered by the USB ports on the computer. No external power needed. Good price for this capacity.

I did not have to configure the hard drive. It’s instantly started working with my computer. I love how physically slim and small it is. Great value for the price!

I was looking for an external hard drive and thought that 1TB would be sufficient. I was surprised to find this 2TB model for only $10 more. It's a small package, but surprisingly heavy. I wonder if there are two drives on the inside that are hardware-spanned. Anyway, a solid performance so far (2 days), but not the fastest at booting my laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend

Caught this one on sale, should have bought every unit on the shelf. Bare WD bones drive, but fully functional.
Moderately sturdy build, secure cable connector. Easy no-hassle plug 'n' play in my Windows 10 PC. Triple-digit read and write speeds on larger files. A little pokey on mass transfer of smaller image files
I blitzed the unnecessary WD backup software pre-loaded (trust me, if you know what you're doing. you don't need it). Highly recommended.

It is working great! Love storing everything in 1 place and when I need to transfer items to smaller USB to take with me. It is a great product for the price!
