    When I received this drive, I was unable to get it recognized. As I have several of these, this was something to look into. Turned out the windows 10 driver did not see the drive. Further looking revealed all of the external drives drivers had a yellow marker on them. A downloaded driver from WD solved this. I suspect a recent windows update. None of these drives have died, not for eight years now. Best portable drive for moving large amounts of data.

    Good Purchase from Best Buy and reputable brand. Missed in description this WD - Easystore 2TB External USB 3.2 Gen 1 Portable Hard Drive - Black doesn't have option to create a secure folder. However, as an external hard drive - worth to have.

    My favorite external drive, compatible with many devices and seems like no matter how much I move to it, it doesn’t lose space. I know it does but I have a lot of files on it.
