Love this item because it is small and still can carry lots of data. We use this for video and photos from an event. Perfect to be able to have on hand and carry easily.

A really nice compact drive. High transfer rates and plenty of room for data. Like the single cord design, powered by USB so you don't need to carry around a power supply with it.

I ordered this because I needed more space on my PS4. Once I got it in, I did have an issue with the cable not allowing anything to read the drive, but I switched it out with one I had on hand, then had no issues from there. I was able to plug the drive right into the PS4 and download and transfer my games right onto it. There was even a night where the power went out and I happened to have left my PS4 in rest mode, but thankfully the drive was alright and all my games were still there. I've always bought from WD and will continue to do so again.

Works perfect with my PS5. It was easy to set up. All I had to do was plug it in.

I got this external hard drive for my PS4 because I was getting tired of deleting stuff to be able to download more stuff. I had the decision of this one or the PlayStation Brand EHD for one TB less if I remember correctly. I was considering getting the PlayStation one because I thought it would be less troublesome to use cause it was brand name but thought how hard could it really be to use it, so I got this one. I am glad I did, it was easy to set up and I have the extra TB which I thought I would need. So far I have not had any problems.

This hard drive is a great addition for the PS5. There were no hassles plugging it into my console.

This is a really solid drive by WD and easy to setup. You plug it in and set your save preference to this drive then whatever games you download in the future will save to this drive. I also copied any existing games onto this drive to free up my 500GB PS4. You can do so in "Storage Management". This drive is so necessary now that games are 100GB and over these days. Great purchase.

Works well with ps4 and ps5 highly recommend jf your gonna be playing on your ps4 good on ps5 when playing and storing ps4 games on it.

The short and sweet version, I love it, came a day late but simple plug and play. Just plugged the device in and worked exactly as promised. I believe there were instructions but I’m not even sure because I didn’t need them at all. Amazed me at the simplicity. No formatting, no errors, just instant extra storage immediately recognized by my play station. As per the delivery, well it’s corona season so as long as it wasn’t a week late it hardly bothered me.

If you're like me and download lots of games from the Playstation store, and with all the crazy cheap digital sales that Sony is always having all the time, you MUST invest in this little gem which gives you 4T of space added to what your PS4 already has! Very simple to use as well- & no additional power supply needed either! Just plug it in to the 2nd USB controller port, follow the instructions to format it and you are good to go!!!! One tip: Just NEVER unplug it WHEN YOU'RE PS4 IS ON!! Shut it down first! Enjoy!
