It lasted about 3 month before it became a brick. This one seams to be a better unit. Will see in time. If this one doesn't last. I wont be buying WD again.

missing USB-C port

The drive itself may be fine but as all of the other ones I own will become useless once the USB connection internally goes bad(very flimsy design of micro USB B). USB -C is typically sturdier and this one was listed as having USB Type C (USB 3.1 Gen1) but instead was USB 3.1 with a micro USB B (thin and wider) connection. If you want an external drive that has the USB-C then don't buy this one.

Works Fine for Storage

It isn't the fastest drive the play the games from and I recommend transferring them to either your PS4's internal hard drive or an external SSD instead if the games you're playing require a lot of loading.

Lots more storage space great investment

Pretty good external storage option
