It’s a hard drive it’s not blazing fast or anything but it gets the job done. Build quality is good looks nice. Seems like a good buy.

This hard drive started clicking (indicating a mechanical failure) the second day I used it. Then it became unrecognizable by my computer. I hadn't moved it, much less dropped it. =/ Thankfully I was able to return it and get an external SSD disk instead. This HD isn't worth the risk.

Bought this for my Ps5 but only let you save the ps4 games so it helps a bit since the Ps5 only has like 825 GB

It’s almost what i was looking for , but the only thing that kinda bothered me was the fact that it doesn’t save data also .

Solid product, does its job. Only problem I have with it is that it takes up one of your USB ports. You cannot use an aftermarket 4 port add-on either. It won’t work unless it’s directly connected to the PS4, meaning you’re limited on after market options such as Bluetooth headphones or wired controllers.

Worked great until 2 months later. Got the clicking and shut off alert and then it wouldn't work for 3 days. Plugged it in to try again and it started back to working. Concerned that if I put much on it it might die again for real.

This product works well and does what I need it to do.

It was ok. Have no use for it as it won't support any of the games my child wanted. I missed the return window time, so it basically lives in a box.

Product stoped working after less than a year of use. Get the insurance if you plan on buying.

Not compatible with PS5. Store rep said it did work with Ps5 and it didn’t.

Got this for my ps4 so I could not have to keep deleting and downloading games I want to play. The hard drive would constantly say it needs to be reformatted. After doing so it would fix the issue for a day or so but then require it again. It would also say it needs to be repaired every hour or two after use. This was happening right out of the box. About a week after owning it it decided it would not work. It would not reformat or repairs would fail. Would return to Best Buy but I don’t have the original packaging. Trying to work on the warranty but it’s made to be a hassle. Not even sure if I want to get a replacement or any WD branded hard drive.

Here’s my challenge. I asked the Best Buy agent through chat, which extended storage works with the PS5 console. I was referred to this product. It will not allow you to transfer games that are specifically PS5 games to it, HOWEVER, it will hold PS4 games. I was skeptical with the advice but purchased the product anyhow. I know the PS5 is new and the information is new, which is why I sought advice. Back to the drawing board I suppose. The product itself works fine and is quiet (very important to) and transfer speeds are pretty decent.
