Needed extra storage for my PS5 (yes I’m lucky enough to have gotten one) needless to say the memory dries up fast on the PS5 with most games needing 100GB to install-with this drive you can save all the PS4 games and play directly off the drive freeing up a ton of space! YES IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY ON THE PS5!!!!

Has worked well with my Playstation 4 to give more space for saving games. Simply would wish that they would provide one with even greater size for saving game files.

I take a lot of pictures over the years, and I purchased this external hard drive to store them so that they do not take up my local hard drive on my computer. It has worked very well for that purpose, and is much faster than the older hard drive I bought to to replace.

For a price i got it for and its 4 TB? Amazing! Works very well for ps4, my console is 500gb, barely enough for like 3 good games maybe but the hard drive holds much more obv if you know how memory works.

This external hard drive is a must if you have a lot of PS4 content that you have added or are planning on adding to your PS5. Games take a lot of storage so it’s critical to have an extended storage space for data that doesn’t need to be housed on the PS5’s SSD. It’s very user friendly and easy to use

I had no idea how to add memory so the helpful staff in Queen Creek guided me to this device and I love it. Plug it in, do a quick format then start to move your games over. It is that easy. 4 TB will last me for a long time. No more deleting games to make room.

product is great i would recommend that other people buy it. i now have more space for games s i only have the 500 gb ps4 as they did not make the 1 tb ps4 when i got mine. no problems with and it is very easy to use. just spend the money on 4 tb one it is not much more than the 2 tb one and you get a lot more space too.

Can fit all my game purchases on here and have room for future purchases. Love how I can keep all my games on the drive and have the ability to take them with me on the fly. Just have to make sure to disconnect properly to not damage the files. Big plus how it frees up space on the system to run better.

Was looking for a hard drive with plenty of storage, but didn’t want to pay the expensive price for one. This one offered a lot of storage for a good price. Would absolutely buy it again!

I've bought another brand for my PS4 and it was easy to setup. This one was no different. If you don't care about speeds, any will do. This one was a bit faster than the other one so I paid extra.

This product does what it's supposed to do, it expands the capability of your PS4's memory, even with the 1TB PS4 version, it's not enough memory for todays game. The version of Call of Duty that I purchased took over 150 GB by it self, I own over 30 games, which you can do the math. The external hard drive isn't a luxury, it's a necessity! The only downfall of this particular hard drive is it's transfer rate is very slow and because of that I gifted the two that I bought to my 8 year old son and my nephew. In all fairness, to be clear for the price of about $100 this product is a steal but I ended up buying a much more expensive 8 TB Avolusion hard drive which is much faster. Another benefit of the WD - Gaming Drive 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive doesn't use its own plug in power source, once you plug in the 3.0 USB it powers up. My Avolusion has to be plugged into the wall for power.

Purchased for my son to use with his laptop. Easy to use, plug and play. 14 year old figured out how to use. Started transferring his games over in a matter of minutes from unboxing. I've never had any issues with western digital products. Material quality feels durable.

If you have kids and they have a lot of games like mine do for the Ps4, an external HD is a must have. The Western Digital Gaming Drive is great and was completely plug and play. With a 4tb external and a 1tb on the Ps4 we will never have to worry about running out of room!!!

If you’re struggling with storage space and want to expand I recommend getting this hard drive it’s easy to install and almost impossible to fill up. I’ve put almost every game I’ve purchased and downloaded on here and still have plenty of space for more.

I finally got around to buying an EHD. This is great. Super super easy to install and a TON of space. If you are on one of the OG 500GB PS4, it is a must have. I believe it will be compatible with the PS5 which is also a huge bonus.

I bought this to have all my games transferred over because I was tired of having to delete older games when I bought new ones due to lack of memory. It’s fast and easy to set up and it takes about 30 minutes to transfer everything over. I love this hard drive.
