These are great for file backups on your computer. Just plug it into your usb port and set it as your backup/file history location. Done.

This drive has works as hoped/expected so far. It is a Time Machine backup disk and thus far I have no issues. Good value for the price.

You will not find a better value on a portable hard drive. It has all the features you need at a great price. I highly recommend this!

I like it for my mac. Everything was already installed and ready to go. Windows in the other hand requieres more downloads and transferring data is more complicated in my opinion.

Don't bother buying the MAC version of this external hdd. It literally takes seconds to format the device for MAC which will save you $10.

Great little hard drive with large capacity. The hard drive comes formatted specifically for Windows BUT is easy to reformat to Mac OS.

I've only used it for backups thus far. I was told that I could use it for my windows computer and my Mac but I was not aware that you couldn't switch back and forth between the two. You have to use it for one or the other.

Lots of storage in a compact package. Little or no instruction included for initial setup, but online instructions are more complete.
