I use Passport to backup my desktop. With my old 2.0 Passport, it took an hour or more. With this 3.0 Passport, 12 minutes.

only down side I was trying to transfer data from old desktop and desktop is so old the hard drive didn't support it. but I will be using it for my new computer. In fact I bought a second one for my mother-in-law.

I got this hard drive to use as a backup hard drive and it been working great. No problems and was on sale for a great price.

Purchased this drive for my photos. The cloud is good, but having this drive, I feel it is safer for my family pictures.

Perfect for my iMac Timecapsule. Fast and easy to install. Buying a second one to act as my iTunes server and Photo server.

This is my third passport external drive. I've never had an issue. They work great and are a great value for the price.

Designed for Windows. For the Mac I had to reformat. When all was in order, it recruited Mac's Time Machine and downloaded everything okay. Retrieving from MY PASSPORT is not quite as orderly as I would like.

Great product and easy to setup. You can actually understand the instructions! This holds a "ton" of data and you can set it for automatic updates. If I ever get it filled up I will be back for another unit.

We needed a device to transfer work and files from our personal computer onto and the passport worked very well for us!!

Worked well with my PS4, but I had to change the operating system on it. May work better out of the box with the recent update. But once I change the operating system, it saved games without any problems.

Bought this drive to replace 500GB that had run out of space. I trust Western Digital products, so this fit the bill.

I need to back up desktop and keep back up off side and rotate it, so I got 3 WD drives. I created a back up schedule and it works great for two devices, but WD application is not recognize third hard drive.

I've had issues with off brand ink so I stick with Canon's. Yes it costs but I get a discount as a BB rewards member.

No complains here...WD has great drives what else can I say... great value all around. Fast download and upload speed.
