This was easy to use and I stored pictures and videos from 3 computers and it held them all with room to spare. It was easy to retrieve pictures from it to after I hooked it back up. Sop much better than usb's.

Very pleased! I carry this with me in my book bag. I have not had an issue with it yet after 6+ months of ownership. I have videos that I read from it, lots of raw photo files and a ton of msic.

I went in to buy one of these drives to back up all my data, the price was so good that I decided to buy two to add another level of redundancy to my storage. I've been happy with them so far.

These little guys are great. Better than a thumb drive and not as clumsy as the bigger ones that require a power adapter. I have not had one fail yet. My oldest one is three years old.

I loved this product, but had to call WD customer service to set up on my iMac. This product is designed for quick install on a PC, but it takes a few more steps on a Mac, because you have to uncheck some items related to PC install. Since then it has worked seamlessly with TimeMachine's backups and I also have extra room to put other files on as well. Works quickly and efficiently. It is smaller than my old WD passport, and is lightweight.

This external storage device is just the right size to back up my laptop, and it didn't cost a fortune.

I recommend this product. Great price, quality, and their customer service was very knowledgable and helpful. Easy to convert for use with Mac. (I called for help)

Great small and easy to use 1TB storage. I just plug it in about once a week and it copies all the new info to the drive.... EZ and quick!!

Although the box does not say it's compatible with WIN XP, it is. Thanks to Kenneth at WD Service & Support, we found that, after installation, it will show up in hardware devices, but not in my computer (no drive letter, so no access). By using Computer/Disk management to initialize the drive, and then quick format it, it now will have the NTSB file system, and it will pick the next available drive letter, or you can change it. My laptop crashed and I thought all my dear photos and years of collecting my favorite jams were gone. I felt sick to my stomach could not sleep that night so the next morning I rushed my laptop to best buy geek squad and asked them to save my life and they did with the My Passport Ultra 1tb External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive. Everything was on these things I’ve forgotten about but my smile was back and my ears were happy again. Thank you Geek Squad & My Passport Ultra!

This product does it job, BUT... I had to contact WDC support and download and install new back up software before it would work with my computer. No where did I find the answer to download Smartware to replace the WD Backup program that comes with the back up drive. So, although I can recommend this product for backing up your computer, you need to be aware that you'll have to go to WDC support and download Smartware before you can use it for back up on Windows 10 computer.

I bought this product for additional storage on my xbone. It is perfect, compact, and a good price. No complaints!

We purchased the hard drive to use for our Xbox one. It works great and now we're able to save lots of games.

This stores a lot, despite its compact size. I have no complaints with this product and would buy it again.
