This is nice and compact and does the job. It works with both Mac and PC. It was a good price at Best Buy.

Nice compact size and no wall wart needed, powers with USB.Setup and data backup initiation was easy but need to refer to on line user manual for anything other than basics.

I had to buy this specific model for a photography class, was bummed at first since I already had 3 other external hard drives, and I've had good luck with toshiba memory devices in the past. But this product has been holding up well this semester and everything has gone well with it. I liked how best buy was really the only place I could find that had it in white

Great hard drive, one of the best brand. I bought it because it said it was compatible with macs. This is true but you have to format the hard drive before you can transfer files onto the harddrive. In the past my hard drives would get extremely hot after being plugged in for a period of time. This one maintained temperature and worked efficiently.

Bought this 1TB unit (black finish) for my wife's computer (smaller hard drive) after buying a 2TB unit (blue finish) for my computer. Both have worked flawlessly so far with no known problems. Bought both Western Digital units after my computer guru recommended WDs rather than another brand as the WDs have far fewer to no errors.

This WD My Passport hard drive is a great device with plenty of memory for the price. This hard drive is very user friendly. I was able to back up all the documents, pictures and videos from my old windows laptop and transfer the data to my new MacBook Pro. I highly recommend for backing up all your important files.

Don't waste your time with other external drives. WD has the most reliable drives with the best Windows software for automating backups included in the box. The other brands might save you a few bucks in the store but WD will give you the best experience and this drive is no exception.

I have bought several of these drives and have never had any trouble with them. They last a long time, they take normal wear and tear of bouncing around and consistently work. USB port powers the drive so only one cable is necessary. They are very portable for external backups.
