This product is very simple to use. Just plug and play. I just recommend that you buy a product made to your system. If you have Macbook or Windows they are different.

I found this product very useful! It enabled me to store large blocks of data (video editing footage) without clogging up my laptops storage. Going back and forth between the external and internal data proved effortless and so very convenient. I'm happy with it!

Needed to backup by external hard drive used on my ultrabook. Was able to setup and configure the WD software quickly and painlessly. Able to sleep soundly again.

This is a very reliable brand. I've always gone with Western Digital. My only concern was that I should have bought one with a larger storage capacity.

The drive worked great and set up very smoothly. I used it to back up around 250GB of photos and videos and it took quite a few hours to write it all over. I have had no issues and the price reflects the performance accurately.

Was looking for a portable drive to backup a hard disk. Needed something that wouldn't require a separate power since an outlet is not always available nearby. This worked well as my portable backup storage for large files.

My computer is getting older so I wanted a back up / recovery method. Best Buy was comparable in price to other locations. This is easy to use and can even be password protected for an extra level of security.

If you want to make sure all your pictures, documents and important files never get lost this is the perfect product.

Simple drive to store data. I do not use the software on the drive. But I use these drives for backup. Works good.
