perfect product for backup uo data
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i had a windows 7 computer that has an eminent hard dive failure message popup[p so before i changed computers i had backup my old data so asked around and was told to get the WD - My Passport Ultra 1TB External USB 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive - got all my data backed up and when changed computers installed everything from my sd and i didn't lose anything

Unreliable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So, I purchased this hard drive several months ago as I need extra space as a film professional and graphic designer. The unfortunate part is I dropped it once (not that far from the ground either) and my Mac no longer recognizes the hard drive. It did once, but would not let me read or write to the drive. I switched out the connection, but that still didn't help. My next option would have to be data retrieval and replacement of the drive itself. I would not suggest purchasing this drive if you plan on keeping important files.
