After installation of the booster, our internet connections are faster and our batteries last longer on the phones. All of our phone signals went from 3G1x to 5 bars on 4GLTE.

Cell Phone Booster really does work

We had very little cell phone service, slow texts and almost impossible to make phone calls. With the booster we are able to do whatever we choose with our Verizon phones. It really was surprising that it actually works.

Cellular boosters work like a megaphone – the stronger or louder the starting signal, the further that signal is broadcast, or heard. If you whisper into a megaphone, you will hear the whisper a little further than before. But if you yell into a megaphone, you will hear your voice a lot further away. Similarly, a weak signal outside, boosted through a cellular booster, can cover a small inside area (where otherwise you would have little signal). Likewise, if your outside signal is stronger, you will get a much bigger coverage area. There are certain situation in which we may need to have a larger booster in place to help increase coverage size indoors. We recommend reaching out to us so we can go over your specific setup and gather numerical readings outside to see if a larger booster might help accommodate your needs. With the booster, we can now talk on our phones and get data inside. The description said the range was 1 - 2 rooms, or up to 1200 square feet. It does work best in only 1 - 2 rooms. The reception declines on the other side of our house.

Saying I don't get a good cellular signal is an understatement. Do to our location, we also don't have many reliable internet options. Buying this booster was my final straw attempt. And it works fantastic! Mounting it was an ordeal. I needed the connection in our upstairs and to meet the minimum requirements of 20 feet vertical meant erecting a 50 foot pole against our house. Luckily, my father is a HAM radio operator and had the materials on hand, planning to build another antenna in our yard. We also caulked the holes on the back of the outside unit; which would have probably made me unable to return it if it had been useless. Be aware of creating a "drip line" as well. I don't think it's mentioned in the instructions. I will also say: Don't trust the websites that tell you where the closest cell tower is. Try various directions, just in case. Our best reception comes from the opposite direction of where a cell map told me the closest tower was. This booster covers "one room", but our house has very little metal between the walls and floors, it actually covers about half of our house. YMMV.

I would recommend this purchase if you have trouble with your cell phone signal.
