    First of all, IT DOES HELP. But not like expected. Best I can get is one green light, two orange and a red. My car buster does just as good if not better, and wasn't as much trouble.

      Thank you for your review! We are happy that the booster was able to help in some small way, but we are disappointed that we weren't able to help you fully! However, hopefully we can remedy that with our help.
      I know that by what you described, that we cannot achieve full gain by where you're at right now with the lights being red and orange.
      Red is an indication that the antennas are too close to one another or that the antennas are pointed towards each other. If there's any other devices that are next to the unit itself that can put off any signal, then the booster will blink red or solid red even when there's enough separation.
      Orange lights can indicate that there's too much signal outside coming from a nearby cell tower that is overloading the booster which causes a similar issue to the booster where it's not going to work as good or at all if it's bad enough. Overload can be reduced though by turning the outside antenna away from that area, resetting the booster and checking your signals to determine if it's working when green. If that doesn't happen, you may need to hide the antenna from the signal by shielding, but hopefully it isn't that drastic to have to do that, simply moving will help most of the time.

    Didn't Work for Me

    I have a remote cabin where we normally get 1-2 bars outside but the signal inside is nearly non-existent. After reading dozens of reviews and recommendations, I bought this to boost the signal indoors so I could make calls from inside the cabin We had a whopping 3 bars JUST ONCE for about 5 seconds, then no signal at all. I reviewed the entire installation procedure to make sure we did it right, called tech support and could never get past 1 bar and dropped calls. It might be a good product and perhaps I received a bad one, but it was enough of a negative experience, I couldn't recommend this to anyone.

    We originally mounted this device in a window that faced the nearest tower. Before setting this booster up, we were barely able to make calls and the call quality was not good, often dropping calls. When we mounted the booster in the window we realized a gain of about 20 db. The signal strength varied from -90 to -106. We decided to mount the antenna on the roof facing the closest AT&T tower and were able to get a signal as good as -76 db. It is crucial to put your phone into "field test mode" so you know exactly what your signal strength is and I highly recommend using an app called "OpenSignal" to determine where the closest tower is in your area. This thing isn't a miracle worker and will do what it says as long as you put a little bit of effort into setting it up correctly. I give this item 4 stars because for $400 I expect the internal antenna to have a better range.

    Cellular Signal Booster Didn't Work

    I bought this device to use at my lake home that has weak cellular signal. It requires a lot of wires (not pretty) and for best operation includes installing an outside antenna with a wire going to it. I opted to only install inside with outside antenna mounted on a window (an option), but it didn't work for me. Returning unit.

      I am sorry that the booster wasn't able to work for you at your lake home. We are sorry that this was the case and we hope to create an understanding of what the booster is capable of working at all. The main component of being able to determine what the booster is capable of doing is based on the outside signal. With that, you stated that you were working with a weak signal which can determine two things, either the booster didn't work at all since the signal was too weak or the signal was so low that the booster wasn't boosting very far. There could be a slight possibility that a part wasn't working correctly - even the booster but it's not very likely. However, we should be able to troubleshoot the booster if you have any other questions about that in the future. We are happy to help here and hope that maybe a different solution would be the best.

    My home has a metal roof and cell service is spotty at best in the house. I was told this would boost my signal in the home and eliminate my problems. After setup and several calls to tech support there was zero difference in service. Per tech support I even set the entire unit up outside to determine gain in signal strength vs what was in the house, and there was none. Very disappointed in the product and returned it that afternoon.

      I am sorry that our booster failed right out of the box. This does happen sometimes since it is an electronic unit and we are sorry that this was the case, even with customer support help. If customer support was helpful in determining your signal strength as well, another unit might be useful in trying again if you would like to try it.     I installed everything was good to go but did not improve my sprint signal but my mom t-mobile signal did improve.

    It didn't really boost my signal at all. I called weboost, they were no help at all. They told me that the government made them reduce the power of the booster. I asked if I could return it, they said no. Poor product and poor customer service.

      Prior to 2014 our boosters did have a higher output power, and per FCC regulation, the output power was lowered on all signal boosters in the industry. Our products still work great for situations where signal is usable outside, but needs help inside. However, if you are not able to make and keep a call outside, our boosters may not be recommended.     I expected a 500 dollar item. Instead I got a item to hard to install and didnt work to my expectations. Didnt seem to help my hotspot either.

    This product only allowed us to get service about 10 feet from the antenna in the house. It was definitely not worth the money.

      I am sorry that the booster wasn't able to work for you in your home. Please understand that our boosters are designed to work - trust me, we wouldn't be in business if they weren't. However, there are a could things that could be preventing your booster from not working from the signal not being great enough outside to one of the parts is defective out of the box. We are sorry about any of these circumstances since they prevent the unit from working. However they are avoidable.     You need a decent signal to begin with

    Our location did not have much of a signal outside to start so boosting a weak signal only improved the signal a limited amount. I returned this product.

    With 2 bars of signal outside, I have seen no improvement inside, even when standing directly in front of the inside antenna. I spent over an hour trying different directions on the outside antenna and even looked up the proper direction on a cell tower map. I get all 4 solid green lights, but no improved signal.
