These newer WeMo plugs are great. Easy to connect. I use mine with Google Home and it's hooked to a string of lights on the patio garden area.

I purchased this Wemo smart plug to assist us in turning on and off of some Christmas lights. While the plug is now working as expected, I had to uninstall and reinstall the plug to my WiFi to get it to work as I'd intended (hence the four stars). On the second reconnection, I scanned the code sticker on the device itself instead of the code on the direction sheet; I think this might have made a difference in the product functionality.

I bought this to play around with and it has really worked well. I connected it through my Echo Dot and have Alexa turn on and off the lights.

Easy set-up with my phone app and amazon echo. Can turn a light on from across the room with my echo or across the country with my phone app.

Really like the wemo smart plug and the hub is great for connecting it to Apple HomeKit. Easy to setup and just as easy to use.
