Setting up the Wemo Mini can be done in just a few steps. Just make sure that you have an active 2.4GHz network and that the Wemo App is already installed on your handheld device. Here's a step by step article on setting up the Mini: https://www.belkin.com/us/support-article?articleNum=268606
