    So yeah, it works. I replaced an old Clapper with this smart plug and it does the trick. The app is sort of bunk, takes several seconds to actually turn the switch on or off, but other than that, works as advertised.

    Works Great After You Get It To Work

    I will start off by saying that WeMo switches are not easy to set up, you have to try and fail many times before it finally just works all of a sudden. Once you go through the headache of the set up, they are awesome!

    I really tried to like my WeMo Mini. In the beginning it was great. The last two weeks has not been so great. I've had to reset it several times very disappointed. Back to the store it goes.

    Vertical size did not work for me.

    All in all, looks like a good product, but for my application, I needed something less bulky, and something that would fit under an outdoor cover. This did not work for me unfortunately.

    Got 3 of these and love them, but sometime they have trouble being connected to the interned or it doesn’t detect the device and I have to reset them. Overall they are ok

    Just get the Amazon brand

    Absolutely impossible to set up. It requires the wemo app to set it up, then you can connect it to Alexa. But the wemo app doesn't work, it keeps giving an error. We tried on my phone (Galaxy S8) and my husband's phone (iPhone xs max) and neither phone was able to run the app without errors. I returned this plug and purchased an Amazon one the next day which took about 2 minutes flat to set up. Save your money and time, do not purchase this plug.

    It was working for a few weeks but now doesn’t respond. It shows it’s still connected to WiFi so I may have to reset it again.

    Over the last year I have purchased 6 mini Wemos. Four died within 7 months. One works when it feels like it. The final Wemo works with no problems at all. I have since replaced 2 of the Wemos with Geeni lightbulb. I have a backup Geeni, waiting for the intermittent wemo to fail...should happen soon. One of the Wemos has been disconnected for about a month now and yet the app is still upgrading. Wemo = Wesuck

    Most of the time these outlets work and you don't even think about. Sometimes, Google Assistant can't connect with the WeMo service (for days sometimes) and I have to manually turn on the lights. Normally it wouldn't be an inconvenience but I bought them to control lights in hard to reach places. Glad they don't make these anymore...

    Do not recommend this device because it does not stay connected at all! I had to reconnect the device several times would not stay connected!

However, you may try to relocate the device closer to the router and make sure that the location receives a strong Wi-Fi signal.     initial set up can be painful. but once device is updated and set up. its pretty easy to hook it up with homekit. once wifi is restarted, it will automatically reconnect

    I bought 2 Wemo smart plugs. The application (Wemo) used for these plugs was garbage. I went through the initial setup in the app, was able to successfully connect to my network through the app, but I couldn't connect to the Wemo plug. I returned the Wemo and bought the iHome brand and was able to connect to both iHome smart plugs in minutes through the iHome control app. If you're looking for easy set up, I do not recommend the Wemo. The iHome brand is much more reliable.

    It was pretty difficult to set up. When my iPhone “connected” to the device and I went back to the app it wasn’t registering that it was connected. Otherwise it’s nice to have.

      Once the Wemo device has been set up and connected to your network, you should be able to see the device on the Wemo app. Please make sure that your phone is connected to the same network with your Wemo Mini and you have the latest Wemo app version installed on your smartphone.

    These are cool little outlets if you want complex simplicity. They work majority of the time but if you have a power outage then you have to reset each one.

    I Do not recommend this product since the two i have are giving me issues, 1 time per month i need to reconfigure all on Google Assistance because this plugs have an error.

    this product is great but only as good as the way you set it up. this can reach its max potential when you is IFTTT to engage it. otherwise its pretty pointless

    Works great until update. Once updated they kept disconnecting from the app. So I had to keep re-syncing. Other than that they are great.

    Product is not worth the frustration. I bought the night before a vacation thinking “wow this is an awesome invention”, little did I know the anger this little device would cause one night before leaving for sunny Florida. Followed all of the steps over and over and would not connect to my WiFi. Brand new whole home WiFi which is awesome, it couldn’t connect. Product is garbage. Returned as soon as I came home from vacation.

      If your Wemo Mini Switch is within your Wi-Fi range along with your handheld device, then it should connect right away to your network, unless if the MAC Address filtering is enabled.     No so good for Google home

    It works fine with the app but did not work as described with Google home. Going to return it for hopefully a smart switch that works better with Google home.
