There are factors that could've caused the challenge as the setup process is normally fast and easy. Please make sure that the Wi-Fi network is set to broadcast as the Wemo device may experience difficulties to connect if the network is hidden. Changing the channel might also help. That shouldn’t be the case as long as the Wemo Mini gets an optimum connection from the router. Have you tried moving it closer and updating the firmware? Major problems with WPA2 router security

After spending 4 hours on the phone over two days with Belkin tech reps, we determined the plugs would work when router security was set to WEP. However this is a low securit level and not recommended I was supposed to be contacted by their engineering group but they never called. I contacted Belkin one more time and was told they would call within 24-48 hours. Never call. Returned the product and bought the IHome equivalent. Within 15 minutes I had 2 plugs operational as well as interfaced with my Google home device. Connections with Wink were also sieemless Bottom line; this product is a waste of time.

Replacing your Internet Provider will disconnect your Wemo F7C063 from the Wi-Fi. You may need to reset it to its factory default settings and configure using the new ones.
