Crap

Can’t even use Wemo app to set up, now you need to install Home App on apple products and setup seems to never work. If I keep trying sometimes the Wemo apps lets me setup. Will work for couple of days with Alexa, then Alexa cannot find when using voice command although you can manually turn on via Alexa, Wemo, or google assistant apps. I tried resetting everything and it works maybe 25% of the time. I have 3 of these switches and never know if they’ll work.

Didn’t work for me

If you are having issues connecting the Wemo F7C063 to the Wemo App and if you are using an iOS device upon setting it up, then please make sure to enable the Location Services, use the updated version of the Wemo App, and connect it to the 2.4-GHz of your network if you have a dual-band network. Nice looking but cant seem to get to work

Had to return

Utter Garbage

The all stopped working at the same time. I cannot get them to work at all. Perhaps it was a software update but now I have to replace them with another brand. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I even purchased the Wemo Bridge in order to get it to work with Apple's Home automation. The bridge was unreliable and had to be reset at regular intervals. There are other products that you can buy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Doesn’t work

Piece of Crap. Do not buy!

The wemo plug was so complicated to setup I gave up after three hours. The wemo app didn’t work. It should not be this complicated to set up a simple plug. I had other wemo products and I had to call customer service to finally get it to work. I exchanged it for Amazon plug with took less than 5 minutes to setup. Wemo took 3 hours and I got no where.

Endless setup loop

I thought I would try to add another to my home automation scheme. Unfortunately, the setup process was unproductive. I ran through the process step by step and failed to set up the device each time. Ultimately, I uninstalled my original device and reinstalled the app. I was still not able to get both devices up and running. To clarify, I have many devices and understand both home and industrial automation.

Terrible connection

Only problem is, they have low WiFi reception and the app you have to use to pair them is terrible. I tried for hours to get them to conect to my router. Followed all the direction. I have another item like this, but another brand and had no issues setting it up. After tinkering for a few days and exchanging for another one thinking the first one is bad, I’m giving up and going with another brand.

Not worth it

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product specifically for the homekit functionality but 90% of the time the devices show “Not Responding” in the home app although the WeMo app connects perfectly. i could’ve bought a much cheaper plug if i was going to be forced to use the standalone app instead of home kit. Even though the functionality is god awful, the build quality is nice and it looks fairly good.

Finally gave up

After receiving this order, more WeMo plugs failed. I decided to cut my losses and replace all of our smart plugs with another brand Best Buy offered. So far, so good with the new brand. Save your money and purchase another brand. Best Buy offers the lowest prices on these items.

Was better before they changed the software

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have several of the mini switches that work great but with the addition of the home kit software it says my router is not compatible and I’m unable to connect the three new ones that I bought to my system. My router is compatible with all of the other ones that I have but I would not recommend buying the mini switch until they go back to the old software or fix the problems with the new software.
