We had a touch lamp that got stuck in the "full on" mode. We like this lamp so decided get a switch to use with our Google Home mini. this thing works great.

Using with Alexa Dot to turn on and off a light and it works great. Can even turn the light on/off remotely. Brilliant! I will be buying more WEMO gadgets.

I just bought the wemo for my house and it works just fine, but one time it shut it self off for no reason. Easy fix though, just hit the one button.

The Wemo works as advertised. I'm able to control an outlet through the app on my phone while I'm at home or away. Love being able to set it up as a timer.

Works exactly like you would think/want it to. Could be a bit smaller, but other than that a great purchase particularly if you get it on sale

Belkin has consistently done an execrable job of developing, maintaining, and updating their products. These outlets will frequently fail to communicate with whatever hub/smarthome ecosystem you're using (Alexa, Google Home, etc). There are ongoing issues with firmware updates failing, dropped wifi connections even from 2 feet away from a router, and the most recent (July 2020) update has completely hamstrung all devices, requiring not only creation of a separate account, but location tracking (for smart outlets which, presumably, don't ever go anywhere). Even with all these things, the app - and therefore the switches, outlets, etc. - still aren't working. If you don't believe me, you should go check the reviews for the app in Google Play. Save your time and money and just get some other brand.

Worked right away! Seamlessly integrates with my Amazon Echo. Connected right away verses the TP Link Smart Plug that wouldn't connect to my network.

I purchased the Wemo Mini to control my lights for my bearded dragon. It works perfectly for this! I was able to setup a schedule and so far so good!

You have to be patient when setting up The directions are rather sparse, but a little patience and you'll have it working

Works great. The instructions are less than ideal, but after you figure out how to set it up it's pretty awesome. I would recommend.

The switch works as expected, but has limited use, since you can only use it on those appliances, lamps, etc. that you can turn "on" and leave "on", instead substituting the WiFi switch to turn it on when you want it to, such as an old coffee maker without a timer built in to it, or a lamp that you don't have automated with something like a Phillips Hue system. Just remember it's a basic on/off switch usable with our WiFi.

I use this switch in conjunction with my Amazon Echo to turn on and off my lights. It's so cool and works as long as you have a solid wifi signal.

My son recommended this product. I love it! I use it on my bedside table and also in my living room for the lamp. Nice to come home to a light on.

I hate to be critical but here's my experience with the Wemo Mini. Bought 4 of these on the strength of a CNET review of smart plugs. Tried six hours over two days to find the magic recipe in an Android (Samsung) environment/recent model ASUS wifi router. The personalities of the two Wemo Minis I tried differed slightly and at one point I thought I had stumbled across the answer with the seemingly more cooperative one. The printed instructions say to factory reset by applying power while holding down the button, while online it says to hold the button down while unplugging, then to plug in still holding down button. The latter method does seem to work better. After extended effort the plugs appeared in the app but seemed to forget everything as soon as they were unplugged (NOT holding down the button!) to simulate a power outage. I could not ever get back to having even one plug appear on the app despite uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone, reinstalling the app, factory resetting, and so forth. One behavior I *could* reliably reproduce was disconcerting. I could personalize the plug with a name ("name your wemo mini", which I called 'Ficus') but get no further in the setup. The app said it couldn't find the plug and to start over. On doing this the app tried to perform initial setup yet the plug remembered the name I had given it previously, as in "name your ficus". At least I could tell when a factory reset had taken place, because it would forget the name. I eventually admitted defeat and took the Wemo Mini's back to the store (Best Buy gets 5 stars for the return process) and brought home five TP_Link HS105s (instead of four Wemos, with money left over). Had the first one going in five minutes that went exactly as the paperwork/app described; all the other installs were equally as uneventful. I can thank Wemo Mini for my better appreciation of the TP_Link product; persevering for six fruitless hours to solve the Wemo Mini puzzle is my own fault. No stars for you!!

Works perfectly, both via the app, Amazon Echo voice command, and schedule. No issues with connectivity after approximately one month of use.

I had two. They worked fine at first. Both quit working about a week ago and could not reestablish them and get them to work with assistant. Will not update. Will not enable remote access. I’ve probably spent 10+ hours on phone with 3 (I think) levels of support. Couldn’t get the original two working. Sent me two new ones. Can’t get them to work with assistant either. Can get everything up to getting them to work with assistant. Bought a Kasa T-Link or something like that. Set up easily and works fine but doesn’t have a sleep timer and I need that for my application. If anyone could recommend me another one that has the sleep timer, I’d just throw these out. I’m disgusted and frustrated messing with them. And so far at least, no one at Belkin knows how to fix them.

I live in an apartment that doesn't have a switch to turn on the living room lights. The Wemo Smart Plug resolved that issue.

This device has not given me any problems to date. I have it pretty far away from my router and has still never disconnected.

Seems to work well after I got it setup! Instructions could be written better with the steps for setup!
