This is easy to use and it's quick to press the pulp, discard the seeds and skin of tomatoes. Fill the funnel to the brim, cook to evaporate, tomato sauce will be 6 quarts of sauce.

Works great, easy to clean. Use for fruit, tomatoes, vegetables and anything you want to. This does the job in half the time.

I have only used this a few times so far but it sped up my apple sauce production. Way easier and quicker then my food mill. Looking forward to using it for tomatos next season.

Factory defects. Disappointed in Quality

The first Weston Tomato Press I received came with factory defects. The base had two large indentations from a mold and sharp jagged edges. Edges inside body were not smooth either. The base was cracked (see picture). It appeared that the factory tried to buff it out because it is covered in sanding/buffing marks. The entire surface is not polished as shown in their photos. I returned it and Best Buy had a second press shipped.
The second press also had factory defects, missing part, dented screen, several buff sanding marks, large welded area that was crooked, deep scratches on the inside of the body and also where the bowl sits on the top, dings and gouges on outside of body, and the body is unpolished. There are jagged sharp edges inside the body along the edge or entrance where the food meets the auger too (see pictures). I am very disappointed in the quality and lack of response from Weston.
Best Buy refunded my purchase.

My dad recommended this model. He has the same one and uses it quite a bit over the summer. It's great for all of the fresh tomatoes from the garden.
