Customers are saying

Customers admire the Boost XT Outdoor Digital TV Antenna Preamplifier for its ability to increase channel count and signal strength, resulting in clearer reception of more channels. Many found installation to be easy and the price affordable. However, some customers reported that the device did not improve reception for all channels. The amplifier's effectiveness may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Very easy installation. Signal strength was definitely improved. Many stations were in the mid 80's are now in the upper 90's. I was hoping to bring in some new channels, but I didn't find that to be the case. I did see, however, much better reception of the channels I already had.

I cannot say that the product did not function, but I can say that it made no improvement for the picture or signal quality at my cottage.

The device works good but you need an antenna really high on your roof. It will boost any regular antenna. The signal will be stronger when the freedom tower is operational.

Works as advertised. The casing is plastic, which will be in direct sunlight. Sunlight bad for plastic. The price point will let me sleep at night. Overall satisfied..... 2 Thumbs Up....

So it made the channels I already had stronger with less drops outs but it didn’t help me to pick up any extra channels.

I had an in house amplifier that was okay but it wasn't picking up all the local (30 miles away) stations. Some were constantly spotty with the pixels going crazy. I got my contractor to put this on my outside antenna and WOW! I am now getting 30 channels. Some as far as 100 miles away. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great. I was able to receive channels 3.1, 3.2 3.3 and 3.4 as clear as could be. This is Oklahoma Public Television that is on the outer limits of my directional t v antenna rated 70 miles. I also receive channels 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 and 13.4 Arkansas Educational Television Network in Fayetteville. Local channels are crystal clear as well. Great Amplifier

I’m not sure if it is the antenna booster or just the quality of the OTA reception. It provides good picture quality but does not work if you are thinking of getting more channels.

Not enough instructions on connecting: for instance, do not hook up a splitter between preamplifier and TV... causes some channels not to be received.

The amplifier was purchased to replace an old one that quit working. It was easy to install for an outdoor antenna placed in the attic of a 2 story house. We regained the stations we had lost with the first amplifier's failure with the exception of 2-- we did move the antenna during installation and haven't tried to find the sweet spot, yet. Also, we have had a derecho that may have taken out TV transmitters. So far, so good!
