This is the third WOOZOO oscillating globe fan we’ve acquired over the past 2 years, and it seems that each one is just a slightly different iteration from the last, though nearly all functions and physical design features have remained the same from model to model. So, what is it that makes this latest little vortex-producing dynamo so great that I gladly went for a third? Let’s get right to the heart of the matter…you should absolutely believe the hype--this fan is SUPER powerful (for its size). No, it doesn’t provide the same gale-force cooling breeze as one of those huge prop fans you might see in an airplane hangar or waiting in line at Disney, but for a personal fan that doesn’t eat a lot of tabletop real-estate and won’t leave your ears ringing with ultra-loud motor noise, its performance ABSOLUTELY warrants the purchase price it commands (I bought our others at full retail and don’t even regret not waiting for a sale) whether you need direct or diffuse cooling for a small, medium, or even large-sized room. The construction is all plastic, naturally, but it doesn’t feel cheaply so; and the design is decidedly professional-looking, so it won’t seem out of place at all on an office desk or credenza. The grey, swirl-patterned vortex grille on the front offers a splash of tasteful contrast from the all-white colorway and is rounded outward to keep the lines/shape of the fan head completely spherical. The slats do not seem to constrict airflow at all (like I said, this thing pumps out a powerful enough gust to be surprising given its petite stature), but they are small enough and arch far enough away from the fan blades that the only way curious fingers might possibly get clipped by a blade is if you purposefully break the grille to get at them. The first two WOOZOO fans we bought featured a built-in carry handle at the back of the globe. This time around, there is a cutout slot in the carry handle to hold the remote control as well. It’s a subtle change to be sure, but you can move the fan from place to place without having to carry around the pocket remote separately…nice! Otherwise, there is a small array of intuitively labeled soft-touch buttons and LED indicators on the top surface of the fan’s pedestal; the iconography is duplicated on the remote which makes it easy to remember what control does what. The WOOZOO offers 3 timer settings (1, 2, and 4 hours) as well as constant operation if you just want to keep it running nonstop; a handy 3-segment green LED display corresponds to the timer setting that is currently selected. I usually forget I have the fan running because it’s so quiet (more on that later), so I set the 4-hour timer at my office desk in the morning and again after I get back from lunch so I don’t accidentally leave it running all night long. At the opposite end of the controls is the oscillation button…this control toggles through 3 settings so you can run the fan without oscillation at all, or spread the love around through vertical, horizontal, or vertical/horizontal combined oscillation settings. Again, a small LED illuminates over the horizontal and vertical oscillation icons indicating which setting/combination was selected. For all our WOOZOO globe fans, this one included, the horizontal and vertical movement is smooth and quiet without any creaks, groans, or stutters--and the last two we've had running daily for a few years now. There are 5 fan speeds marked by a 5-segment blue LED display with the option to both speed up and slow down with the double-ended control—this is a nice step up from some cheaper remote fans we use where the only option to slow down is to toggle through all the faster speeds until the slower one comes around again. The first 4 speed settings keep things quiet with very slightly but reasonable/expected increases in fan noise as you go higher, but nothing that I would call distracting. However, the fifth speed setting is like “super-turbo,” and it can really move the air around—but that setting runs the blades so fast and the motor so hard it *does* start to get intrusively loud and even begins to rattle the fan itself. I would probably only use that high setting to air out a particularly hot and stale room that I wasn’t going to be in for a while (or for very long). Technically, there is also a 6th speed setting which WOOZOO calls “Natural Breeze.” It’s my favorite feature of these fans and the one I now use almost exclusively for desk-side cooling. Instead of a steady, droning blast of air that can frankly get tiring or even produce enough chill to turn uncomfortable at times, this setting offers randomly and gently increasing and decreasing “breeze strength” cooling that honestly keeps me more comfortable for longer periods of time in front of the fan—and as an added bonus, it’s the quietest setting of the bunch. Now, the box-art makes some bold claims about being able to feel the WOOZOO a full 82 feet away. I don’t know about that as I don’t have an 82’ tape measure lying around. But I can tell you that even at 25 feet across my office, I could still feel the fan running at the lowest setting, so it can definitely keep pace in those “heavier-weight” configurations suggested in the manual like drying laundry, two-room circulation, augmenting an air conditioner, etc. Honestly, the only thing that I wish WOOZOO hadn’t changed with this latest version was the illumination control. The second WOOZOO globe fan we bought had an extra function on the base and remote that allowed you to turn off the LEDs entirely. For many people, this may not be a big deal at all, especially if you use the fan primarily during the day. But my wife uses one of these fans at night from over on the bedroom dresser, and the LEDs are legitimately bright enough in a darkened room that they could be distracting. We originally put some black electric tape over the blue fan speed indicators (which are MUCH brighter than the green LEDs used for the rest of the displays) which did the trick perfectly—but the LED on/off switch was a really nice feature we weren’t expecting to find on the last WOOZOO we bought, so it is definitely missed here this time around. Still, that one niggle aside, this fan is absolutely top-drawer! I would love to see WOOZOO fancy things up a bit more in future offerings, like adding Alexa or Google Voice controls, or a programmable timer that lets you go worry-free for more than 4 hours at a time. And if they use this current globe fan as a starting point, I’d be ready to give them even more of my money--DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

I was incredibly skeptical that this WOOZOO fan would live up to the claims on the box. I wasn’t the only one either, my entire family was skeptical. They were all present when I unboxed it and started to check it out. My kitchen is about 40’ x 15’, it’s basically a kitchen/dining room combination. I plugged this fan in on the countertop at the far end in the corner. We had just finished dinner, and a couple of my family members were still sitting at the table 20’ from the fan. They could easily feel it from where they were. After testing it all out and checking out the different functions, I left it oscillating in the kitchen for about 15 minutes. I have a remote sensor in my kitchen for my smart thermostat. It read 3 degrees cooler in the kitchen just after letting this fan run. We were all stunned at this little powerhouse! In fact my oldest son found it online and bought one for himself after I tested it out. His room upstairs is always hot and he can’t wait to get this fan up there. Plain and simple, it just doesn’t seem like something so small could create such a powerful breeze. I grew up in the 70’s to 90’s, trust me, box fans were a regular part of life in the summer. I wish we would have had something like this fan back then. The box boasts that you can feel I up to 82 feet away. I have a tri-level and tested that claim. Very true claim, we were all laughing as we walked down to the lower level with this little vortex pointed down the steps. I like the handle built into the top of the globe, conveniently has a slot for the remote also that does not hinder the handle function. There is 3 timer settings, and 5 different strengths. The natural breeze pattern function is amazing. You literally cannot hear it running. It sounds like it’s off, but you can feel the breeze emanating. You can run it stationary, oscillating horizontally, oscillating vertically, or both. Can’t say enough about this little guy. I’ll probably only buy this fan from now on I’m so impressed. Box says this was inspired by the Japanese word for vortex ‘uzu’. They’ve concinved me, now it’s your turn. Perfect for any room big or small. You CANNOT go wrong for the price either, this little guy should be way more in my opinion!! Highly recommend to anyone!!!

I was so happy to have received this fan as my old tower fan had taken a fall and broke. Perfect timing! It has 5 speeds and the lowest (which I will be using mostly at night in my bedroom) is extremely quiet which is perfect for sleeping. The highest speed truly blows out tons of air which is surprising for something this size. Conveniently it also has a remote control which offers all the fan functions and well placed buttons. The fan is very responsive to the remote and because I will be using it at bedtime the remote is so handy. There is an Hours Timer setting which can be 1-2 or 4. If not set the fan will stay on continuously. Another super thing is the oscillate feature. It will move the usual side to side but amazingly it will also oscillate up and down! This is the first fan I've ever owned that moves vertically too. Really awesome! Because of its smaller round form factor it doesn't use up much space on your table, dresser, nightstand or wherever you choose to place it. In the nice included instruction booklet there are some FAN PLACEMENT ideas offering six different ways you can use the fan to get the most out of it. See my attached photo for detailed descriptions but here are the 6 they suggest: 1. USE WITH AIR CONDITIONER 2. USE WITH A HEATER 3. CIRCULATION 4. VENTILATION 5. TWO ROOM CIRCULATION 6. DRYING LAUNDRY This WooZoo Globe fan is one of the best fans I've owned. Compact but so mighty ~ it gets the job done beautifully. I am very pleased and absolutely love it! Will be purchasing another for my TV room which gets really warm in the summer months. Reasonably priced and highly recommended!!

WOOZOO - Oscillating Fan with Remote. [IRIS USA Model PCF-SC15T] With 5 speeds, all of them quiet, and oscillations up or down or all around. The Woozoo is controlled from the sleek deck or a remote, with a timer if needed. The WooZoo has left nothing out. The size belies the effectiveness of this powerful fan whose air flow can be felt from quite a few feet away, depending on speed setting. There’s even a breeze mode which changes the speed intermittently, just like in nature. SOUND LEVELS: Often, this type of fan with a bullet design can be noisy, but the WooZoo defies expectations. I’ll share sound meter readings below, but the data illustrates the lack of noise until you select the highest speeds, and even that’s hardly noise. The particular room I set the WOOZOO has a background 38 dB measured (with my uncalibrated dB sound app on my iPhone held 1 meter, or 40” away). At SPEED LEVEL 1: 38dB (no measurable sound!). At SPEED LEVEL 2: 38dB (still, no measurable sound). At SPEED LEVEL 3: 39.5dB. At SPEED LEVEL4: 42.1dB. At SPEED LEVEL 5: 50.2dB. There’s a tug-of-war in my house about where to place our new favorite fan. We’ve got a walk-in closet where an oscillating fan adds to the ventilation and makes dressing much more comfortable. But, the media room can get quite warm and a near silent fan such as this WooZoo makes a movie session luxurious. The surprising amount of air movement addresses the heat build-up from the equipment. And, of course, there is the office which is on the south side of the house and heats up late in the day. The WooZoo is easily controlled from the remote and air can be directed in a way that is helpful preventing heat build-up in my workspace while avoiding a draft. Or, I can pretend I’m on a porch and select the Breeze setting. For now, it’s in our main bedroom, because other than the soothing air motion, you don’t know it’s on. And it has a REMOTE. Love it.

Sometimes people need a little breeze in an area where a large fan either doesn’t fit or is not needed. The Woozoo globe fan is the remedy to that problem. Whether I want to circulate air in my home office, bedroom, or even my office at work, this is the perfect product to give me the breeze that I need. The fan is roughly 1ft. tall, and weighs only 2.9lbs. The Woozoo fan delivers the strong air movement of a typical standing fan. The first feature that stood out to me is the absolute silence of the fan while in the low setting. If it weren’t for the movement of the fan blades and feeling the movement of the air, you wouldn’t know the fan was on. As I increased the fan speed it remained quite quiet through the first 2 speeds. At medium speed the fan becomes more audible. Now, for turbo air flow you will hear definitely hear the fan, but the sound level is not nearly as loud as a standing fan. I would compare the volume to the ventilation many hear in an office building, which is not loud, but definitely audible. And the amount of air movement at turbo speed is beyond impressive. The claim of feeling the breeze up to 82ft. away is not an exaggeration at all! This thing seriously moves air! The really cool thing about this fan is the amount of options/settings; 5 speeds, oscillation (up, down, left and right), natural breeze mode, auto-off timer with 3 duration options, and all are controllable from the fan directly or the remote control. The lights located on the fan are bright but not overwhelming to the point of hindering sleep, if you’re using the fan in a bedroom. There’s also a nifty notch in the back of the fan for easy carrying with your fingers. All in all this fan is perfect to move air at whisper quiet volume. If you’re in need of a small fan, don’t hesitate, GET THIS ONE!

I’ll start with I like this fan so much, this is my third! I now have one in every room in my house. It is the perfect size, puts out the perfect amount of air and it's the perfect sound to drown out my snoring when we are sleeping (speed 4) more on this below. There are five speed settings along with what they call a Natural Breeze feature that automatically cycles through what I believe to be the first two settings. This is supposed to replicate the feeling of a fluctuating wind pattern. I find this to be an interesting feature - it works but it's not a feature I use regularly. The most interesting feature about the WooZoo Globe fan is the oscillation. Not only does this fan sweep side to side but also, up and down. When both are selected it make a figure eight motion moving air though the whole room. The last nice feature of this model is the shutoff timer. You can choose 1, 2 or 4 hours to shut the fan off. All these features are also usable via the included remote control. I use this fan in my main room to supplement heating and cooling and the size is perfect for this. Using the middle speed (3) helps maintain a more consistent temperature throughout the space. If I need a bit more cooling I just speed it up for a more forceful breeze. If I'm being picky, my only complaint with the WooZoo Globe is the brightness of the indicator lights. Using this in the bedroom to sleep at night, the indicator lights are extremely bright so I covered them with tape. My issue however is that there is also a model that allows you to turn the indicator lights off but this one does not have it. This should be standard across all models. Otherwise, having three of these, I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a compact powerful air circulator.

I was surprised how effective such a small fan could be. First of all, the Woozoo fan is full featured, with 5 speeds, breeze mode which varies the fan speed to mimic a gentle breeze; both horizontal and vertical oscillation and a timer which allows you to set shutoff times of 1, 2 or 4 hours. The fan also includes a small but versatile infrared remote control and so requires line of sight to operate. How does the fan perform? As I mentioned it has 5 speeds. The lowest speed is virtually silent but one can still feel the effect 14 feet away. The second speed is nearly silent and the third speed is fairly quiet. Only the 4th and 5th speed make much noise, by then you are moving serious amounts of air. The oscillating feature is great, allowing movement to both the right and left and/or up and down. You can also set horizontal and vertical oscillation at the same time. The timer function works very well, I tried the 1 hour setting and at the end of the hour, they fan just quietly shut down. I was pleased with how effective the fan is. I'm using it in my bedroom and even at lower speeds you can feel the effect of the fan. I love being able to control the fan using the remote control, I can adjust the fan from my bed without having to get up. The quiet operation is a plus for bedroom use with the first two fan speeds virtually silent.

WooZoo -Compact Globe Oscillating Fan w/remote 5 speed. I love this little fan! It has been amazing I put it on my desk at work even though it was raining they turn the heat up and it is hot in the office. It has 5 speeds, the fan can tilt 80 degrees straight up, and it can rotate left to right 80 degrees. You can choose if you any just one rotation direction or can do both at the same time. It has three timer settings, natural breeze setting. It's small compact and super quiet! It says you can feel it up to 82ft away & room coverage is 352ft, in an enclosed room definitely can feel the fan to keep cool but it does not replace an ac I did however put it in front of the portable ac I have at home to blow air into the next room and it seemed to work very well. Helped cool of the kitchen when I was baking set it up on the window seal to suck the hot air out and it was the coolest I've had the kitchen in a while with having to have the ac full blast. The remote control it comes with is fully functional for all of the fan settings no need to go back & forth to the fan to change certain settings. This little fan is perfect for so many uses cause of the size and power.

The WOOZOO compact globe oscillating fan is my absolute favorite small fan. It has so many functions and it is good for so many occasions. It can be quiet and provide a gentle breeze right where you want it - or it can help move scents around the room. It can also be louder and provide a nice powerful breeze and help use for a “noise”. This fan has so many options and really can do it all. It’s ready to go right out of the box. It comes with a remote or you can just use the buttons on the fan itself. It has a self timer that you can set for one, two, or four hours. Or you can just plug it in and leave it run. It can oscillate both horizontally and vertically which I find helps spread my scents of whatever I am using around, whether it be a candle, warmer, or fragrance mister. It is small enough to keep on your desk at work and you can use the timers to make sure you don’t leave it on all night. It also fits on the nightstand to provide the cool breeze you want while you are sleeping - and again - it can be quiet or make some noise. It really is a great little fan!

Great little fan with a terrible remote receiver

With summer approaching a nice floor / table top fan is a necessity. TL;DR for my frequent readers and more below Good: Size Speeds and options Bad: Remote range Right off the bat, I recognized this design from a shelf fan at my local bar - and it’s the same brand! The fan is pretty sturdy and has a good range of motion; there’s also a small two-finger grab area for carrying at the top of the fan. Immediately, I found that when the face of the fan was not towards me, the remote had a hard time because the IR receiver turns with the fan. It would be nice if there were a few receivers on the base for a more consistent remote experience. Even when it's oscillating, I find it tough to catch it where I want, unless I'm close and pointing right at the IR window. The manual is pretty good - not that I normally use them, but I decided to thumb through it because the remote images didn’t have any description, so I had to head to the book. “Breeze” was what I was wondering about right off the bat (waves icon), based on the image. Breeze goes up and down on fan speeds, for what seems like speeds 1 & 2. On top of fan speeds, this has dual oscillation - left to right and up and down. This is something I haven’t seen before in any fan, let alone a desktop or mini floor fan. Using a Kill-a-watt, I measured what the energy consumption is on the 4 air flow settings & then with horizontal & vertical oscillation going on simultaneously. So, below you’ll have the fan setting - Watts with normal use | Watts with both oscillations going. Breeze - ramps from 15.1 -> 21.8 watts and back down to 15.1 again. With oscillation it’s 22.5w - 29w For fan speeds: Low - 16w | 23.4w oscillating Med - 21.2w | 28.9 oscillating High - 26.7w | 34.6 oscillating As for noise - there’s a bit of a hum that I can hear with it being around 4 feet from me. On medium speed (or breeze high), it seems to add 4dB in total (from around 38dB - 42dB). I could see a few use cases for this. One may be a smaller room to get some movement and the other could be a campground, lanai or even craft booth! Running on low and a 768wh bank can get you around 2 days of continuous 'low' runtime without hitting up the sun for a recharge. Overall I like this fan and have a feeling that it’ll be my daily fan, given its very low energy consumption on the lowest speed. Recommended!

I really like this fan, it’s a nice size, has lots of features, and its compact. The features this fan has are a remote (huge plus), five speed settings, three different timer options, oscillation, and a breeze setting. These all can be controlled on the base or the included remote. The oscillation is great as it goes side to side or you can have it go up and down, plus it can do both separately or at the same time. It really gets the air moving around in our bedroom without having to have the fan on a high setting. I’m a light sleeper so I usually leave it set to the lowest fan setting as the higher ones create wind noise. The size is perfect for a bedroom, office, or wherever you need to have air circulation. I have this on my nightstand, but once we get to summer I will place it in the warmer area of the house to circulate the air. Don’t let the size full you, even though it’s small it really does a great job of pushing the air around. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is due to the LED indicator lights on the base. My bedroom is pitch black at night and the LED indicator lights are very bright and create shadows of the fan on my ceiling and walls. I wish they gave a way to turn them down or off for sleeping. What I do is just set the remote or other item on top of the buttons and that does a good job of muting the light. Overall this is a nice fan and perfect for any space. It is going to work great for summer and helping cool down rooms. In the instruction manual it gives placement information and what settings to use to circulate the air in the room depending on the situation.

I've been testing the new Woozoo Compact Globe Oscillating Fan w/ Remote for a few days, and it is quite impressive. Considering its size, the fan is very powerful, with air movement being felt from about 10 feet away on the lowest setting to 16 feet away on the highest setting. The motor is surprisingly quiet on the low settings, barely audible at all. When turned up to max, I did need to raise the volume of my TV about two notches. The other features of this fan are pretty good as well, but they have some minor faults. The cord is slightly over 6 feet long. The onboard controls and IR remote are very easy to use. However, the remote requires line-of-sight to work, and there is a slight delay in response. I like that the fan oscillates in multiple directions. It can be set to move left to right, up and down, a combination of both, and in a breeze pattern. However, it cannot be manually positioned. To point it in a specific direction, I have to wait for the fan to oscillate to the desired position and then press a button to make it stop. Overall, I think this is a great, stylish, and low-profile fan that I recommend buying.

I purchased this fan because the AC had gone out in my apartment. It definitely helped a bit at keeping me cool during this time but I was concerned that I might regret the purchase once the AC was fixed. However, I’ve definitely enjoyed having this fan even after having the AC fixed. It has a variety of speeds and rotations that make it versatile for wherever I am in the room. I personally really enjoy the breeze mode that lightly blows cool air with little noise. The only problem I’ve had with the fan is with the remote that I haven’t been able to get working. This has not been a huge inconvenience for me as I keep the fan on my bedside table and there are buttons on the base. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I absolutely love this fan! It is perfect for sleeping as it's quiet and you won't know it's even on. Has 5 speeds and a breeze setting as well. The remote control is a great addition but you do have to have it pointing directly at the fan. It oscillates up down and side to side. I have owned a lot of fans but never one as great as this! Buy it! You won't be disappointed! Highly recommended!

Expensive but strong fan considering how small it is. It comes with a remote which is super convenient. There is also a "pocket" to store the remote on the fan. The lowest setting is extremely quiet. It is a multidirectional fan and is great for a small office, bedroom, or even bathroom.

I LOVE this fan!! There are five speed settings. I cannot believe how powerful this little fan is. With the different directionals it makes the different stationary positions limitless. With horizontal and vertical positions on, it will create a figure eight pattern to move the air in the whole room. A must for those nasty hot flashes!

My son loves it. He thought it wasnt strong but after turning it on the way it circulates everywhere and how small and powerful it is , h we was impress and he is not easily to convince especially oscillating fans.

I bought two of these when they were on sale, then when I got them home I ordered another one. I love the features. That it moves up and down and side to side. Highly recommend

You read that right, this thing really blows! For something so little it really packs a punch. In a room a little over 250-300 Sq ft this thing cools the entire place and then some. The air is constantly moving and being cycled by this little fan and our air purifier and it keeps the room smelling fresh, cool, and comfortable all year round. Plus it's not overly loud either, a decent white noise maker in and of it self too.
