We love it so far! (It's been two weeks). The "wall of light" is fantastic --we can easily see everything in the refrigerator, and it's so pleasing to look at! The shelves and veggie/fruit bins are spacious, the "door in door" makes it easy to store and access pitchers of water and milk without opening both doors, and the middle drawer is great. The autofill water is convenient. One of the only things we've noticed so far that's not great is that when you dispense ice cubes from the door, the delivery is a bit messy (some ice shards shower onto the floor). That's not a big problem for us, though. We are very sensitive to machine sounds, and are pleased that this refrigerator seems to be relatively quiet when at rest (there are sounds when the ice or water is re-charging, but that's infrequent). Our old refrigerator was a GE Profile side-by-side (with a beverage door) that we loved and that lasted more than 15 years. This new french door refrigerator seems even better -- especially with the middle drawer, though it will take some getting used to having the freezer on the bottom, and one thing to know is that the shelves on the refrigerator doors are less deep (and thus do not hold as much) than the ones on the side-by-side. But it does not seem to be a problem, as the rest of the refrigerator has so much space. We are also SUPER PLEASED with Best Buy's customer service and generous return policy -- before we bought this refrigerator, we bought a counter-depth model that turned out to be much too small. We tried it for a couple of days and hated it -- we called the store, and they told us we could exchange it for one we liked better. We did, and it's worked out great -- we wound up very happy with our final purchase, and very glad we bought from Best Buy. The sales staff was helpful at all stages of this purchase.

We were replacing a 16 year old side by side that still worked - although the ice dispenser and crusher had stopped about 5 years ago. We hate replacing working items but have been so pleased with the amount of room and features in this fridge. The door in door feature was extraneous in my initial thoughts but we use it everyday! So handy to not have to open the full door. The freezer has a crazy amount of room compared to our old unit and the convertible drawer is handy for our snacks and cheese. We thought we would use the sliding shelf more but we found it easier to just adjust it higher and keep smaller items on that shelf. We have had this unit for over 30 days now so I feel its safe to review. This frig is AWESOME!! Family of five, two adults and three 18 year olds. We fell in love with a similar LG item, with that large middle convertible temperature drawer and ice maker in the door. Spent hours researching reviews prior to buying. THANK GOD!! LG has had severe compressor issues for YEARS! People reporting new deliveries going bad in days and then being stuck under warranty and without a frig for sometimes 3 months! Back to the drawing board. Samsung. Research said NOPE!! Zillions of people reported icemakers problems, serious ones, dating back years and still unresolved. Freezing and floods! Nope. Checked out this GE with the same door and drawer layout and the reviews were mostly positive with an extremely high percentage saying they would recommend to a friend. Unlike the LG which I think only 53% said they would recommend! YIKES! And its been even better than we dreamed of. LOVE this frig! TROUBLE FREE! And, the features are amazingly useful and not gimmicky. Favorite things: #1 Convertible temperature drawer. BEST thing ever! for us, all cheese and lunch meat and bread and other sandwich stuff is kept in it at the 37 degree temp. Never have to go into the frig and rifle through the overstuffed meat drawer anymore. Its all conveniently at your finger tips. Condiments, all in the door in door swing out tray. SO convenient and easy to use. Never even have to open the doors to the main frig. #2 This seemed gimmicky but again, best ever. The entire back of the frig is LED lighting. It illuminates EVERYTHING easily so nothing goes overlooked in the back. It truly is an amazing and practical feature. #3 Having the entire ice maker mechanics in the door and NOT occupying frig cavity space. This alone leaves so much extra space in the cavity, allowing more flexible use of shelves. Our old frig was packed i could never find anything. This one, I have NEVER had a frig with EXTRA space on the shelves like we do this one. I'm always looking inside thinking we need to go to the market its so spacious. #4 Ice Maker is much better than expected. It makes smaller cubes than old school frigs do. BUT, so do the other brands. We have 5 adults at home, still, full time AND we are a high ice usage family living in the desert. Yes, we do sometimes run out of ice but not as often as one would think. We just keep two old school ice cube trays in the pull out freezer to supplement when we need to. Yes, it chops up the whole cubes a little bit, but just hold you cup or bottle up close to the dispenser and it catches it all. AND, there is a really positive reason it dices them a little. Because the gears are actually METAL and NOT plastic!! Hallelujah!! Metal gears on high use under stress mechanical parts, whoda thunk you could find that in 2021 disposable world? #5 Freezer Drawer. To be honest, we had never had a French Door frig and were reluctant because most we have seen the freezer was an afterthought where stuff became buried only to be discovered years later. This drawer has been awesome too. The top sliding interior drawer and little extra storage space in the front of the drawer make all the difference. Ice cream and other goodies in the top slider and the bagged dinner stuff in the bottom. I have found this to actually be an improvement over our old side by side in so many ways, its underrated. No more grabbing the ice cream only to have a frozen ice pack fall out on your foot and break a toe. Actually happened to one of us! Its pretty stealth actually, so you can go on late night ice cream binges and nobody else knows you have even opened the frig.

What an outstanding refrigerator. It has been over a year and I don't know how I lived without it for so long. Pros: Great lighting - Open the French Door and the interior illuminates so you can easily find things. Soft Close Drawers - Love these. Shelves and bins have plenty of room. The door-in-door option is great for quick grab-and-go items. The deli drawer keeps all the most commonly used items in one easy place Freezer storage and drawers are great. Lots of room Ice maker and water dispenser - Automatically lights up at night when you walk up to it. The fingerprints are still visible and not sure there is anything that can be done but it is much better than the last fridge we had. Easy to clean. Easy to move shelves around. CONS: The filter door doesn't want to stay closed. It constantly pops out The ice bin doesn't hold much ice, to be sure to get a bag of ice if you are having guests on a hot summer day. Nothing that would take away from a 5-star rating. Overall: Impressive and highly recommend.

Excellent appliance, very quite and adds great appeal to the kitchen. In addition to being very spacious enough to hold large but needed items in the door. Love the lighting the fingerprint touch-free stainless steel effect.

The ice cubes are smaller but nice and the container hold a fair amount of ice cubes. Like the water sensor to fill large tumbler. Wasn't sure if I would like the easy access door and found out I do like it. The refrigerator was the same size as my last refrigerator but do to the wider door for easy access I had the trim on one side of my cabinet tried a 1/4" and it now fits like I wanted it to. Very pleased with my new refrigerator.

Very happy with this refrigerator so far! It seems to have so much more room than the side by side I had, and I love the refrigerated drawer. I also love the LED lighting when you open the doors. It’s so easy to see everything. The only negative I might have is the amount of ice the ice maker holds, and the fact you can’t see how much is there unless you open the ice maker. If you have company it would probably be a good idea to make some ahead and bag it yourself, or go buy a bag to have on hand. We ran out of ice when my family was over for Mother’s Day.

We love this refrigerator!!!! Our LG quit working (compressor went out) after back-to-back power outages. We researched and thought we had our minds made up then went to Best Buy and happened to see this one. It was delivered a week ago and we could not be happier. So much room!! The shelving layout and door-in-door access for frequently used items is great. The drawer above the freezer is perfect for cheeses, lunch meat, beverages, wine, etc. and the lighting is amazing. When you open the door it's dim and then gradually gets brighter. The entire interior back lights up so you can easily see everything. The freezer has a sliding panel to keep things separate and organized. It also makes plenty of ice which was a real problem with the LG. The installer spoke very highly of the GE brand and mentioned that most of the refrigerators that they take away are Samsung or LG. We're sticking with American made products from now on.

I've had this new refrigerator for a few weeks now, and so far I love it. It's quiet, has great storage options (who knew a separate drawer for drinks and deli would be so handy?) and the quick access door is so convenient. Food is kept at an appropriate temp, the separate drawer keeps drinks wonderfully cold, and the bright back light makes everything easy to see. My only complaints would be: 1) I'm short, so reaching items that get pushed to the back of the top shelf will require a step ladder. 2) It's crazy heavy, so I'm not sure how I'll be able to clean underneath - there's no way I'll be able to push it out from the wall on my own. The delivery men heroically muscled it into place, and there it will stay. (Be sure to measure all your doorways!) Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

We live the refrigerator, but had some issues when it arrived. After being set up and fully stocked, we realized the freezer was accumulating frost everyday. This was from a seal around the freezer door that was crushed and compromised. At the same time, the ice maker began making a screeching noise as it ran. We went back to Best Buy and they were great about exchanging it for a new unit. Our frustration was that we had to schedule another delivery as well as empty the unit completely… again. When the second unit arrived and the installation was about 50% completed, we realized there was a ding in the top corner of the door, a large dent in the middle drawer door and the refrigerator door seal was crushed and compromised just like the other unit. After speaking with customer service, they agreed to send out a THIRD refrigerator 2 days later. We had to make arrangements for yet another delivery and set up. When the 3rd unit arrived, we inspected it before they brought it in. We noticed there was no pin/screw on the top of the door. It was only held on the unit by the magnet strip. The driver called dispatch and they agreed to use a pin from the 2nd unit that was already on their truck. It ended up working and the unit is now fully functional and working in our kitchen. It just took a while to get a fully functional fridge and we are weary that something else may go wrong. Other than that, we love the size and functionality.

I researched all the descriptions and customer "quips" on several models and solidly decided on this one. It has not disappointed me in any way--in fact it has features that I wasn't even expecting! I had also stressed that it would not fit the opening, but it slid right in with amazing precision and replaced my 27-year old fridge like it was custom-made! The back-lighting shows up the contents so well and lifts my spirits every time I open the door. (So glad I chose this one!)The Geeks who installed it were skillful and courteous, even beyond my expectations, so I have been, and will continue to be, a loyal fan of Best Buy!

Spacious. Quiet. I love the lighting inside. Snack drawer can be converted to a freezer, but we love it for deli items and snacks. Freezer has an additional drawer to separate items which makes access easier. Fridge Door has a swing out shelf for easy access to condiments without having to open the whole fridge to get to it. Good design.

We were having issues with our LG producing ice that did not have a chemical taste after many months We exchanged for the GE and have ice that has no taste. We like the third drawer and use it to store sodas, lunch meat and cheese. It is really nice to be able to grab a soda or some lunch meat with and not have to open the big portion of the refrigerator and root around to get to them. I really like the water auto fill function on the door. I set a glass under hit the autofill button and I can walk away to get something and not be worried of the cup overflowing. We are really enjoying our new GE refrigerator,

We are liking this refrigerator very much. It's way bigger than our old one so be sure to measure you slot before buying it. It fits perfectly it just sticks out further than we expected. Our kitchen is very white and has the open concept. The black side sticking out beyond the wall was too dramatic for me so I covered that side of the refrigerator with white contact paper to camouflage the width. It worked perfectly. This is one beautiful stainless fridge and we have the other stainless steel appliances to match, GE stove, microwave and dishwasher. Very stately and beautiful appliances.

This fridge is awesome, the temperatures inside are very stable no warm or super cold spots. The ice maker is quiet you don’t even get the counter drop! And the cold clean water dispenser give you fresh cold clean water. And the convenient little outer door for soda and condiments is really cool. This fridge is also energy compliant and my bill dropped by $30 a month. Thank you Best Buy…

We purchased and have used this refrigerator for a couple of weeks now and we’re very pleased with it. We spent a month looking at different makes and models and while we had budgeted to spend a little less on a new one, this unit quickly became the standard to which we compared the others, so we decided to pull the trigger and purchase it. Absolutely no buyers remorse here, this fridge is awesome! We love everything from the backlighting, to the storage space and the middle pull out drawer is fantastic! We had delivery and installation done by Best Buy and it was excellent! The only thing I would say that has underwhelmed me thus far is the water dispenser/ice maker. I love the autofill for the water, but the dispensing rate is somewhat slow. Also, the ice cube size is smaller than our previous refrigerator, and the dispenser tends to chop them some, even when its not on crushed ice mode. Having said that, I would consider these items more of a knit pick than a major concern. At the end of the day, there is so much to love about this GE Profile Refrigerator, that it leads me to highly recommend it if you’re in the market for a new refrigerator.

Exactly what I was looking for in a refrigerator. Plenty of room for leftovers and large dishes when entertaining or for holidays. The door within a door is very convenient for reaching often used items without completely opening the refrigerator. The freezer on the bottom is spacious and easily accessed. The middle compartment is very useful for storing often used items such as cheeses and snack items.

Love the new refrigerator. Very roomie. Love the design. Definitely will recommend.

Functional and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. It feels like a nice purchase- high end! Ive had a month. With plastic edges in the seams from the protective coating- we did a quick brush-over with a lighter and they are no more. My only preference is that the ice maker worked more easily and faster- its not very smooth

The refrigerator works great so far, and I really like the backlighting inside, however, the right refrigerator door sits higher than the other when closed, which doesn’t look good. Disappointing for such an expensive refrigerator.
