Corsair has been by far my favorite brand of gamer headphones over the past several years, this being my 3rd wireless pair. Of all the Corsair headphones I’ve owned, this one seems to be the most straightforward setup. By that I mean its true plug and play, no software needed to install. You can update the firmware by going to their site and checking straight from the browser and running it from there. I really like the option of not needing to depend on an app to function correctly. Let me start by saying why Corsair is my favorite brand of gamer headphones. First, they include Dolby Atmos in their headsets (at least all the ones I’ve seen and used). This is a great feature that I have not found in any other headset, I love it for games like the Call of Duty series or other 1st person shooters that support Dolby 3D spatial sound, which is a huge advantage when playing multiplayer. Other headsets that “support” Atmos you must pay for the Dolby license in Windows, Corsair includes it automatically with their headsets! Second, I LOVE the range of their headsets, at least with the HS series. I use my headset for gaming and for work. Quite often I walk around the house and can still be clearly connected to meetings or talking with friends on Discord without getting any static or dead signals. My house is a one-story 2500 sq/ft home, and I have been able to walk around the entire house while still having a consistent signal, something not doable with other brands. I was skeptical with this being more of an entry level headphone set that it might not be able to achieve it, but it has impressed me! Lastly, I look at comfort and fitting, these are lightweight compared to my previous ones, which does feel much better on the head after hours of gaming. You don’t really notice until you wear a lighter headset, but it’s a nice bonus having a lighter accessory on my head. The downside is that there is usually a small battery, but I’ve been able to consistently get at least a couple of days out of a charge with mixed usage. Now for other experiences regarding this specific headset, I’ll discuss the pros and cons. Starting with the additional pros, I like dongle, its both usb C & A so much more compatible with devices these days, with the option to charge and be connected at the same time. The cable is reasonably long and works well for my desktop to use. The design is simple, not an overcomplicated one with many buttons to remember… Just a power button, volume rocker, and charging port….hard to get confused with that. The mic is detachable, which I’m still out on the jury for. I like have a permanently attached mic, but one that can be well-hidden when not needed. I don’t like taking apart my headphones, but I can see the benefit for some people. Now for the cons…I’m not a fan of the confirmation voice on the headset, when muting or connecting. Its nice to hear the actual confirmation of whats happening, but when the voice talks briefly, it mutes everything else. If I unmute or mute during a game or meeting, I don’t want to miss out on that brief audible information. I prefer a quick sound to let me know when I’m connected or unmuting. The volume rocker can be questionable at times, I notice if I try to “step” up or down the volume such as clicking it 3 times in the desired direction, it does not work. It needs to be held down in order to get results, otherwise it will usually just not do anything. Also, the mic always defaults to ON when turned back on. I wish it would remember the last setting used, not a big deal but I like to be muted by default to avoid any accidents. And lastly, it appears there is some type of power saving mode, but I’m not sure how well it works. My first 2 days I started using the headset, I only used it briefly the first day after a full charge, let it sit without turning it off, and when I went to go use it again on the 3rd day, it immediately told me the battery was low. So that is just something to be conscious about, with my other Corsair headsets, they had a good sleep/power saving mode that would kick in. This headset is overall a really good value IMO. The sound is not quite as rich and full as the higher end Corsair models, but you have to pay extra for that. For my gaming experiences, it sounds pretty good and the spatial sound is fantastic. Corsair does make quality hardware for their headsets, but I do notice that the cloth and foam material that goes around the ears has a tendency to fall apart easily with time. I’m hoping they’ve improved the quality of that as the hardware seems to last much longer than ear cushions, because that is the only thing stopping many years of usage out of their products. To summarize, I’ll give the following scores to this headset, which in my opinion, at this price point is amazing. However, given the trend of lighter, slimmer laptops with mostly USB-C ports, an adapter from USB-A to USB-C would have been a helpful addition. A key limitation is that, although it provides three connection modes, they cannot be used at the same time. For instance, you can’t remain connected to your phone via Bluetooth while gaming on 2.4GHz. Instead, you’ll have to switch modes based on your current needs. The HS35 v3 Wireless clearly prioritizes clarity over immersion, aligning with its intended audience. In gaming, it performs well: footsteps, dialogue, and directional cues are distinct, with a slight emphasis on the midrange to enhance intelligibility. The highs provide sufficient definition without harshness, and the bass remains controlled without overwhelming the overall sound. The soundstage is practical but not very wide, which becomes more noticeable outside gaming. Enabling Dolby Atmos on PC improves spatial awareness but doesn’t significantly alter the headset's overall tone. For music and media, the limitations are more apparent—lacking the depth and richness of pricier models—but this is an intentional trade-off, as the headset is tuned primarily for gaming, with other media as a secondary focus. The detachable microphone aligns with what you’d expect at this tier. It provides clear voice quality for in-game chat and calls, though it doesn't offer any standout features. The HS35 v3 Wireless offers up to 30 hours of battery life, and in practice, it performs quite close to this duration. When using the 2.4GHz connection at moderate volumes—around 50 percent—you can expect nearly the advertised battery life. Increasing the volume will naturally shorten the battery life, but the decline is consistent and predictable. Using Bluetooth may slightly extend battery life rather than decrease it, which is common for this type of headset, as low-latency 2.4GHz connections typically consume more power. I used this headset on my PS5, with several PC games, and in chats like Discord. I had no complaints, and it performs well within its intended range. If you're looking for a comfortable, lightweight, and versatile wireless headset that covers the essentials effectively, this is a good choice.

Simple plug and play: First off I love the simple unboxing Corsair gives you - Headset in its separate wrap and ALL the cables and wireless receiver in a small cardboard box. It was also ready as soon as I turned it on (Windows 11 didn’t require any extra setup on my end) mic is optional and removable and also sounded great without any further setup. Same goes for the controls! No toggles that I can never truly work out. Just a simple wheel for the volume and microphone. Feeling the materials around the headset I got the sense that it's obviously not trying to hide being plastic and that's preferable for me as the headset only weighs 250g (the headband can also be adjusted) It's megaaa comfortable for a wireless headset! Sure you're missing out on premium materials but often I would just rather wear something lighter. It's also held up well in terms of general summer humidity if you're dealing with that as well. This might be a weird comparison but I also own a pair of Beats Studio Pro which weigh 260g but I find the Corsair headset at 250g much more comfortable especially long term. In terms of sound quality I either just used it stock (out the box they sound shockingly good) or you can install Dolby Access. Didn't try Dolby much as their Windows app is super lackluster, but hey it never hurts to have it as an extra. So yeah the sound quality in general was great. Clear slight bass, decent vocals, and they get plenty loud. Certainly exceeding my expectations in this regard for a $79 wireless gaming headset. Microphone is also clear with no extra gimmicks. Battery life was weird to test - so Corsair says 30 hours of battery life on 50% volume. I for one never track my volume but I was getting a solid 4-6 days on an average week with these. They also charge decently fast. No complaints. Much more expensive pairs will have better battery life with often better charging solutions like stations, but sometimes simple is just better in the end. In terms of range the headset only disconnected when I left my apartment so it passes most realistic use cases for me. I also appreciate that it had no problems connecting right back up without fail when it was back in range. So yeah it's perfect for those times you need to grab that food order :p That's about it. I think you got the idea - it's a simple well priced wireless gaming headset that gets all the fundamentals right. Beyond this review I will keep using this as my main gaming audio - if you value the simple fundamentals done right like I do then you will also enjoy the HS 35 v3. Easily recommended!

I have used a lot of Corsair accessories over the years, and the HS35 v3 model continues in its footprints. Overall, I think it’s a good headset and one I would recommend to the average gamer. The one thing I feel Corsair is missing is giving it a more premium look and feel. I like the all black design, but it looks very similar to previous models. It not a bad thing because the quality has always been there, but I do wish it stood out a little more. Unboxing and setup were simple just like any other gaming headset. I connected it to my PlayStation 5 using the included 2.4 GHz USB dongle, and it was ready to go. It also supports Bluetooth for devices, but I typically stick with the 2.4 GHz connection on my PlayStation because I get better range and reliability. My gaming and PC setup is in the basement, and I can walk upstairs while staying connected without any issues (I get thirsty alright…) I plug it into the front of my PlayStation because my console sits behind my monitor, and I have found that front USB ports generally give me the best wireless performance. Another connectivity option that I like is that you can simply plug in the headset to use the headset and it allows playing while charging. Corsair includes a USB C to USB A cable, so if the battery gets low, you can plug it directly into your PlayStation and keep gaming or just consistently use it if you don’t want to be wireless. The headset is comfortable to wear. I wear glasses, and I never had the ear cushions interfere or start affecting me after extends amount of time. The mic is good and my friends don’t complain about it back feeding or not being clear. The headset has performed well in every game I’ve tried. Even though I wish the design felt a little more premium, the Dolby Atmos and 50 mm drivers provide immersive sound that is right where I would expect it to be. I also like that Corsair keeps things simple without adding gimmicks. Compatibility is great. It works with PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo Switch. I don’t have acces to test it with Xbox other than a PC, and Corsair doesn’t list Xbox compatibility on this version. Personally, I usually buy headsets designed specifically for the console I use, and in this case it works exactly as I expected with my PlayStation while still giving me the ability to use it with my other devices. One last thing to mention is the microphone. It has a slightly different design than some previous Corsair headsets. It’s detachable and if you remove it, just be careful not to misplace it. Overall, this is a well performing headset that most gamers will be happy with. It sounds good, is comfortable for long gaming, has a variety of connectivity options, and can connect to multiple devices. My only real complaint is that I wish Corsair gave it a more updated design.

Having a set of hs55's being my current favorite (mostly due to the fit and weight). I figured it wouldn't hurt take a look at the hs35's as most of Corsair's headsets are pretty light and I can always use another lightweight headset to swap out when the battery is low on the other. I must admit at first glance the two headsets side by side, the hs35's are a lot smaller, and honestly more lightweight than the bigger brother 55's. Which again for me is great (I suffer from neck pain so the lighter the headset the better). Unlike the 55's the microphone is detachable and headband design is more of a floating type as opposed to the padded of the 55's, at first I didn't think I would like this but as the weeks went on, more and more I found myself wearing the 35's instead of the 55's, and with that said, the ear pads are also notably different, while the 55's offer a memory foam "larger" sized ear-piece, the 35's are slightly smaller and more of a fabric type, when I first put them on I wasn't happy about how much more "tighter" these felt on my ears, but just like the headband, this grew on me over the weeks of wearing them, not only did I find myself liking them more; I found that the noise cancellation of the outside world was a lot more weeded out, I was more immersed in my games, music and tv than I had been with the 55's, the 55's while the executive chair version of the HS line, the audio from outside would find itself more easily intercepted than with these. When i'm listening to things with headphones I really don't want to hear everything around me so for me, I really liked these HS35's. pros Omnidirectional, detachable microphone 50mm Neodymium Audio Drivers Dolby Atmos (pc only) 30 hours battery life wired, or wireless w/dongle & Bluetooth connectivity, with quick switch button super lightweight (250g) works w/ pc, mac, playstation, nintendo switch, mobile cons while the sound is impressive it doesn't carry the heavy bass of a more expensive pair of headphones icue support is limited to firmware updates Overall, I would highly recommend this headphone. Corsair has impressed me again with this HS35 v3 Wireless Gaming Headset! This headset is very comfortable as it is softly padded and fits over my ears very nicely. In the box is the Corsair HS35 v3 headset, microphone, USB cable, USB dongle, and paperwork. Setup on each device is pretty simple. On my laptop, I just plugged in the USB dongle and the headset was good to go. I did charge the headset first before I did anything. Setup on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and my iPhone 16 Pro were all easy as well. I love how this headset is compatible with PC, Mac, Mobile, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. Connections are available through Bluetooth, Low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless, USB wired. I have used all three and have had great success with all of them. Sound quality: The sound quality is great whether in a group chat in a game, in a one on one in a game, on a messenger service in or out of a game, listening to music, watching a movie or video clip, or having a phone conversation. There is very little to no background noise. This headset comes with 50mm audio that makes in game audio even better. Dolby Atmos is also present so that spatial audio helps to create an extra layer of immersion on PC. The cool thing I noticed in game was that I could hear things that I normally couldn’t hear. An example would be the wind blowing the leaves on a tree or walking in tall grass and the sound it makes. I would have totally missed those sounds had I not had this headset on. The audio is very clear and crisp. No distortion whatsoever. The microphone is Omni-directional, meaning it captures sound from all directions, and that makes it perfect for gaming chats. The microphone is also removable. I didn’t get any feedback on the microphone or have trouble with people hearing me. They didn’t report any issues with static or anything. Summary. This Corsair HS35 v3 Wireless headset is a great option for gamers of all levels. It can handle the simplest to the most advanced gamers, their chats and their game play. I recommend this headset.

These are very nice looking headphones. Construction is impeccable. Pivots and hinges are firm and the earcups do not “flop” around. The ear cushions are a soft woven fabric, and has a fabric “floating” headband with multiple positions. This combination makes for these to be extremely comfortable, and can be worn for extended periods of time. Ear cups can turn 180 degrees, and the omni directional mic is detachable. There are three modes of using the headphones. Low latency wireless with the 2.4Ghz wireless USB dongle, using bluetooth, or wired USB. The drivers are neodymium 50mm with a rated response of 20 to 20Khz. Battery life is touted to be 30 hours at half volume. These are intended for “multi-platform” use – PC, gaming consoles, Mac, etc. And Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio app can be used on PC for more enriched listening. The only “manual” is a slip of paper giving basic functions of the buttons. As far as my actual use and listening experience... I found the headphones very comfortable, and had a light clamping force. The headband can be set for personal fit. Using the wireless 2.4Ghz worked perfectly on PC, and I did not notice any latency. Blue tooth paring also worked well, but there was a slight latency. Using wired or 2.4Ghz would be the choice for gaming, streaming movies, etc. Sound quality was very good, with strong bass, clear midrange and crystal highs. They performed well for gaming, adding dynamic range to the effects. Explosions and action, brought games to life. And, they work very well for reproducing music, watching movies, videos etc. As a budget headphone, these definitely hit above their price point. A good choice to use with all your devices, and multiple applications.

Quick Summary: These look more like something for the office and not the game room. No bass and all treble. Connect to everything except the Xbox Series X. Only 3 slots to adjust fit and very small ear cups. No ANC. Build Quality ( 3 out of 5) Feel cheap. There is a plastic weld in the head band. Fit & Comfort (3 out of 5) No real adjustment. The floating band only has 3 slots for adjustment. No cushioning at the band. A real step back from the void RGB elite. The only thing in terms of comfort the headset has going for it is how lightweight it is. I can barely feel it on my head. There is very minimal clamping force. Sound (3 out of 5) All I hear is treble. Voices come in real clear. The mic is really clear. There is no foam wind screen included for the mic. I can hear footsteps and all the good stuff except the bass. In game explosions sound terrible. I listened to Roddy Ricch "The Box (Wireless Festival 2022)" for the drummers live set. On my other headsets including the Void RGB elite the drums sound wicked good. On the HS35 the sound is flat and the drums kick is missed. Final Thoughts: If you are on a budget and want to get into entry level wireless gaming headsets, these will accomplish that. Don't expect to be wowed. I recommend saving up and stepping into the HS70 Pro or the VOID RGB Elite. For a little bit more you will get a lot more sound and quality. Oh and pairing, connecting, switching from bluethooth to 2.4ghz was made harder than it needed to be. I paired to pc, was told bluetooth connected then had to double tap the square button to put into bluetooth mode even though it was already connected via bluetooth to the pc.

When it comes to gaming headsets there are so many price points and features, but if you’re looking for a comfortable, versatile wireless headset that works across practically all your devices without breaking the bank, this Corsair headset is a great choice. It provides solid performance, simple controls, and comfort for daily gaming sessions. There’s a variety of features with this headset, but a couple that stood out to me are: Versatile Connections: Being able to connect via the wireless dongle, Bluetooth, or a wired connection makes switching between devices effortless. I was able to plug the dongle into my PlayStation or PC for lag free gaming, and then quickly switch over to Bluetooth for my Nintendo Switch. Headband Comfort: Instead of a hard plastic band pressing directly on your head, it uses a soft floating headband strap with breathable fabric ear cushions. It feels extremely lightweight compared to many other bulky headsets. It is adjustable so it doesn't squeeze your head too tight, and keeps your ears cool during longer sessions. Clear Game Sound and Spatial Audio: This is obviously one of the most important factors where the sound in games was very crisp and well balanced. You get great positional awareness to hear directional movement and footsteps in shooters, while dialogue and music come through clean and full. Detachable Microphone: The boom mic keeps your voice clear and easy to understand during party chats. I always appreciate it when a headset lets you easily detach the microphone completely so it is out of your way for single player games which this headset checks that box as well. Long Battery Life: The 30 hour battery life holds pretty true here as I kept the sound at about 40%-50% (which was plenty loud enough) and I was right near that 30 hour mark. Convenient On-Ear Controls: The volume wheel and mic mute button are located directly on the earcup, making it easy to adjust your sound quickly without having to open audio settings on your screen. The lack of a million buttons and switches on the earcups also makes it much easier to find these buttons quickly. Overall, for a budget headset it definitely checks all the right boxes for an everyday gaming headset. It is lightweight, comfortable, sounds great out of the box, and works effortlessly across PC and consoles. I would highly recommend it for the everyday gamer that wants that simple setup with solid performance.

It's been a pretty long time since I've used a headset that doesn't seem to come with some sort of configuration program and is just a basic headset. This thing doesn't show up on Web Hub, and iCUE didn't download any drivers for it. It's just a basic headset, and any special audio options are handled by the system itself. Honestly, I kind of like that, especially for my lower-specced computers. I'm already used to the configuration apps not really being a thing on consoles, so it's not exactly an incredibly long stretch to just do it like that on PC too. And on devices with 8GB of RAM (which seems to be common these days), it's nice to not have the device software software running in the background and consuming additional resources. In terms of the physical hardware, it's pretty good. It's a really comfortable headset. Definitely one of the lighter ones I've used, but it doesn't feel flimsy - I don't feel like it's going to fall apart every time I put it on my head. The ear cups are pretty comfortable too, they're soft and don't squeeze my head too hard. The band across the top doesn't irritate my scalp, so that's also nice. Battery life is good, and I appreciate that USB-C audio is one of the input methods (though I will say, one thing that does kind of annoy me about it is that when you disconnect the USB cable, you have to manually turn off the headset - it'll just stay on when you pull the cord). The volume rocker thing was a little odd, but not bad. I haven't had any performance or quality issues on the wireless dongle or over Bluetooth, and everyone I've talked to has said my microphone quality was good. Of course the most important thing about the headset is the sound quality. It sounds perfectly good to me. The performance when gaming is perfectly reasonable - I'm able to hear where gunshots are coming from in FPS games, and the in-game music quality is good. It's played nice with the various audio effects software on my computer, as well. I'd probably not use this as a go-to headset for music as it seems to be better tuned for gameplay and voices and spatial awareness rather than for capturing all the fine details of the instruments whatever music you may be listening, but it's been great for games and media content like YouTube and TV. Overall, this is a pretty basic headset, but I think it's a good one. I'd definitely recommend this if you're in the market for a new gaming headset, especially if you want one that doesn't involve installing extra software.

I am normally on lengthy Zoom calls and needed an upgrade to my headset/mic that I had been using. The HS35 V3 headset although normally considered a gaming headset is providing me greater comfort than any other headset I have used. The fabric over the ear cushions are very comfortable over extended use. The addition of the floating headband relives top of head pressure normally associated with my other headsets without this adjustable flexible band. There is no adjustment of the earpieces up and down from the hard plastic headband so I adjusted the flexible band to my fitting. Originally I just used the WIN 10 and WIN 11 PC’s with its internal Bluetooth and pairing was simple and straightforward. Audio reports were good and my received audio was fine. It wasn't until I used the included dongle that I realized the full performance of this headset. The audio improvements rival the most expensive audio only headsets I own. Dolby ATMOS and Windows Sonic sound incredible through this headset. I was truly impressed with the quality of the audio in both ZOOM calls and streaming audio. The dongle is the low latency 2.4Ghz wireless connection (not Bluetooth ) with the option of using USC-A or USB-C connection. The mic is removable and had an LED at the tip which provides me with a visible reminder that I am muted. Audio announcements are made in the headset when changing modes from BT to dongle and mute. Power ON and OFF are also announced but no battery state announcements. I feel that is a miss. The only other miss is that there is no sidetone microphone audio provided to the earpieces. I find myself speaking louder because of this. When configuring the WIN 11 laptop to enable pass-thru audio in the sound control panel to provide this sidetone there is a noticeable echo that is disconcerting and I don’t use it anymore. I have not had any experience with gaming consoles but I am enjoying this headset on my long ZOOM calls. I’m sure this headset will provide an immersive experience just as I have experienced on the laptop and ATMOS content.

I will start by saying that one of the aspects of a good headset for me is increasingly becoming comfort. Comfort means many different things, but in a headset I intend to use for gaming, it’s mostly for longevity. So The Corsair HS35 v3 has been great for me in a couple ways for longevity. The first and most noticeable is the weight. This headset is very light. The fabric type cushioned earcups feel secure, so you would think it would be a heavy set. It seems Corsair has figured out how to balance clamping with weight without being overly tight. The other aspect that I find really good on the HS35 is the headband. It has the strap sort of mechanism that harnesses on your head to alleviate hard points from the actual headband. This strap is very comfortable against my head and I feel no “hot spots” on my head which helps greatly with long wears. I want to note that I have a larger head also so the HS35 is definitely large head approved. My ears do get a little warm in the cups, but that is not unusual for over ear headsets. Sound quality is actually pretty good. I listened to music and some video streaming in addition to gaming on my Switch and Handheld PC and all sounds full range and good. There was no distortion that I could hear and when a surround type source was played it actually gave me a pretty huge soundstage, without having to do any adjusting. The boom mic has a mute light on it and I love that, and it gives you verbal confirmation when you go in and out of mute. The mic quality is pretty good, nothing spectacular, and my voice does sound somewhat mechanical, but no distortion and it was clear. The one thing I don’t really like is the lack of voice feedback. I prefer to have my voice piped back into my ears so that I don’t feel like I’m yelling. I wish this was here. Otherwise, this is a really affordable, great sounding headset, and will be amazing for long playing sessions, or even a movie night.

The CORSAIR HS35 v3 Wireless Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset is an excellent headset for multiple platforms that provides plenty of options for connections. Taking the headset out of the box, I noticed how light it was compared to my old Corsair headset. They still felt durable, though. There is a band that runs under the hard outer band that attaches to one of three slots on either side that provides any adjustment for sizing. The mic boom will need to be plugged in to the dedicated port on the front of one of the earcups, although the headset portion will work normally without a mic. There is a multifunction button that can be long-pressed to connect, or short-pressed for various functions. There is a separate volume up/down toggle that can be hard-pressed to mute. I chose to connect to my PC via the included dongle and it required very little effort. The connection with the dongle was established quickly and the quality of the connection was great. I listened to some music on Youtube and I played some games on the PC; it all sounded very nice. I wear glasses, so I pay attention to temple pressure from the cups. These felt fine on my glasses stems even hours after putting them on. I also unplugged the dongle and connected via Bluetooth. I thought this headset was great. The robotic voice that says when you're connected or disconnected does sound a little funny, like they captured a voice from New Zealand or Australia, but that was just humorous. I would recommend the CORSAIR HS35 v3 Wireless Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset to any gamer or someone who listens to music or watches videos for long stretches. The were very comfortable, sounded great, and were very easy to set up.

The Corsair HS35 v3 Gaming Headset is a great budget gaming headset pick! I was surprised by all the key parts of a gaming headset. First and foremost being the the sound quality. The HS35's have Dolby Atmos that really raises up the sound quality. Understand I'm not saying that these compete with a $500 headset but these do punch above their MSRP value. I played 5 longer gaming sessions with friends and only at the end of that last session did I have to plug them in to recharge. I'm glad we're at a place where most gaming headsets work on all platforms and that includes the HS35s, whether it's 2.4ghz with a dongle or via bluetooth, it'll connect to anything. And speaking on that dongle, it's cool that it's a combo dongle in that the main piece is a USB-A receiver, but the you pull the side off and it becomes a USB-C dongle. Lastly, I have a LARGE head and after multi-hour gaming sessions I am happy to report no pain in my head or ears. My one con is a small one. The mic is detachable, which some people might like, but I prefer to have the headset either fold or retract into the headset so I don't lose it. Again, this is a personal preference. Other than that, I was greatly impressed with the headset for the price and I imagine these will go on sale at some point for an even more incredible price. If you are a gamer on a budget, then these are an easy recommendation. This is a very light weight headset which I found excellent for gaming. No pinched ears and no headaches which I can get sometimes when playing for hours on end. I like the wireless capability, however the option to go wired using the provided cable is very important to me as well. The earcups are very soft and since I use glasses most of the time, it is important to try them long enough with glasses on to ensure the headset does not pinch my head. Part of the comfort is due to the very innovative way this headset can be adjusted. There is no pulling out each side on a rail of some sort. Instead, there is a thick elastic band that is under the over-arching headset part that connects the ear pads. You easily can adjust each side of the elastic band, and this secures the headset firmly but without pressure as it sits on top of your head. A tip of the cap to the Corsair engineers for innovation in the comfort area which is very important of course. Sound was excellent. The mic works great and is provided using a simple plug in design. There is a mute button for the mic which I feel is a requirement. The spin wheel for the volume control also works nicely. I love this lower cost but very effective headset. I used it for gaming, as well as laptop/cell phone music and for my bedroom TV. I don’t bother anyone due to the versatility provided by this headset. I also connected it to my massage chair in the living room and for me this headset was more comfortable than earbuds when in the massage chair. I would highly recommend this affordable and excellent headset.

Love these headphones. Super lightweight, great sound, and easy to set up right out of the box. When you open the box you will need to attach the microphone, which I don’t mind, I like the option to remove the microphone completely actually when I am not using it. I am using this with a Sony Playstation, I simply plugged in the USB dongle and I was instantly connected. The headset has a floating headband which is great for long time use, I barely notice I am wearing it. Battery life has been great, I simply charge it over night and I am ready to go the next day. This is truly a plug and play headset, great comfort and sound. The microphone works well, the users on the other end can hear my clearly. I have not had nay issues with range, it works just fine in my living room, I do not notice any latency or connectivity issues. This is a multi platform product that will connect across most if not all of your devices, from PC, Mac, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile. You can connect across these devices in multiple IN MULTIPLE WAYS USING BLUETOOTH, 2.4 GHz, USB, and wired.

Corsair has impressed me again. I have been a fan for years and they keep making things that make me smile. I have a big head and these fit pretty good. Clamping for is pretty good. I have worn them during a gaming session and forgot I had them on. I play single player games so the mic wasn't a concern. My friend said the mic sounds good when I used it to make a call while I was connected to my rig and phone. Nice clean look to headphones, they can be worn anywhere without making someone look like a gamer. Love the fact that these work with pretty much everything I have and I can use them old school with a 3.5mm cable. The USB adapter has a neat trick. USB-A and C connectors that you can separate was genius unless you loose stuff frequently then maybe its not so good. Without running any kind of EQ on these they sound pretty good. Not too many headphones sound decent flat. Nice bit of bass that won't rock your ears off but bass heads will EQ it and get it just right for them. I have no problem recommending these to someone.

I recently had a set of PlayStation headphones break, and was in the market for something new, but more versatile. I have found 99% of what I was hoping for in the Corsair hs35 version 3 wireless gaming headset. The versatility starts with the connection options this headset has. You can connect to pretty much any device that uses Bluetooth or going to have a hardwired USB connection. It also comes with a wireless USB dongle allowing you to connect to just about everything. Officially it supports PCS, Max, mobile phones, PlayStation, and Nintendo switch. This means I can use it with my cell phone for work, then switch over to my PC for work or gaming, then move over to my console in the living room. The only two limitations these have are the following. Number one, Dolby Atmos spatial audio is only available on PC, I don't know if it's a technical limitation, but I would have really loved to have it for console gaming. Number two, this in no way supports Xbox, but I don't think that any headsets out there do. The sound is amazing on these, and the microphone has worked great for gaming and for working. The ear pads are very comfortable, and these are definitely wearable for long periods of time, especially with the headband across the top, which really helps alleviate pressure on your head.
