Piece of cake to set up. Once I registered the device I was ready to go. Not sure about durability, we'll see.

I have never been a fan of Comcast, they are pretty much the best thieves in the business. Anyway, I got tired of paying their equipment fee for outdated equipment so I bought this guy and I love it. Internet is so much faster and I have a wifi access point for my guest. Win-win.

It is working fine within close proximity; however it is losing its range in some of my corner bedrooms.

It works, but does not come with the current firmware. Comcast cannot upgrade the firmware, so I just had them place it in bridge mode for me.

Directions were for wireless. I have a tower so had to call for help. Had to have technician come out to hook up for phone, tv and internet. It is doing what it is supposed to be doing now. Was recommended by neighbor to me and I have already recommended to friend and sales rep.

Don't even think of purchasing it if you want to use the WiFi capability. This should not even be sold given its terrible WiFi reliability. Went back to the store!

this product for only $199.00 will save me $10.00 per Mo. from Comcast so that means that in only 20 short mo. it will be paying for it self.

Fairly stable unit that supports telephony if needed. the firmware does allow comcast to turn on an xfinity wireless network, turning your home into a hot spot for everyone else in range of your signal and stealing your bandwidth. It appears to only contains a single radio, so those who think that the wireless is bad may just have a neighbor logged into the xfinity ssid. The good news is you can disable this network from within your comcast online settings, a fact which comcasts does not make obvious. This should be an opt in setting rather than an opt out.

I purchased Xfinity Arris modem to replace the monthly rental from the local cable company. It will pay for itself in just at 12 months of use. The wireless features are no different than what was provided by my cable company. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

I am subscribed to telephone and Internet services with Comcast and unfortunately having telephone service limits what you can use for a modem. I do not use the wifi function on this, I have a separate wifi router attached to this - I get much better reception that way.
