Well worth the price not to pay the rental. Wide coverage even through thick adobe walls. Can get a signal up to 100ft away outside.

This works just as good as the one I had from Comcast, maybe better, and I don't have to pay that monthly rental fee!

When you compare this product to similar products in its price range, Netgear has some monsters that make this little guy feel like a waste of your time and money. I switched from such a monster to this piece of junk because (as far as I can tell) my options were this or pay $10 a month for two years for a rental unit that is no better and I ultimately have to turn in. The speed, reliability of network, and range of this product are all worse than other products in the same price range. However, if you have Comcast triple play (again, as far as I can tell) this is a necessary evil. What else can I say? It works. Most of the time.

We subscribe to Comcast Triple Play bundle and this works fine. It is cheaper to purchase than rent it monthly from Comcast

A brand new modem that turned out to have a defect. While Comcast was able to get a couple things going, the wifi feature wasn't active. Luckily we have a router so it plugged in and we have internet. For me to purchase a 2 year warranty only for them to discontinue the product, for me to purchase the product just to call Comcast to get some features working, for me to call a store saying they won't be able to send/get a replacement has set a NEW level of aggravation with Best Buy. Lucky enough to even get 2 stars since everything is decent but THIS is one of the reasons why I am hesitant to do business with Best Buy.

I have had no issues since activating and registering my device with Comcast. Wifi connection is perfect on all my gadgets

Buying this saves me $10 each month - so yes - well worth it unless you are jumping ship to a different internet provider.

Wi if and cable worked fine. Land line phone would not work with product

Picked this up for my parents and it has been a major improvement for their connection

This was so easy to hook up and connect to my comcast account. Since I went online with it I have not had any problems.

I had to replace the CISCO router and was told to buy this one. This router does not reach my TV - about 45 ft away so the Amazon Fire Stick does not work. The CISCO router reached the TV. I am still at a loss of what to do with this.

I would recommend this item for usage other then renting through Comcast.. Cost efficient and save you money long term

Works well even in our back room. We did however purchase a range extender to be sure we have an excellent signal.
