Sweet looking card, good build quality. Runs quiet, runs cool, massive performance boost over my old 3070. Big card so measure your case to make sure it will fit. Barely managed to fit it into a Jonsbo Z20 with full size ATX PSU but recommend fetting an SFX form factor PSU. Was hitting 3100mhz clock speeds stock.

This is an interesting GPU. First, the heatsink is top tier which, to my surprise, allows it to run cool without running the fans. GPU fans can be noisy but these are quiet and most the time aren't running. Although this isn't the XT version, it is unexpectantly long and I was lucky that it fit into my PC case. I really appreciate how it uses the common 8 pin cable X2. You only need two 8 pin connectors so nothing fancy. Overall, it runs cool and it's fast. However, it was a channel to install in Linux. My Xubuntu 24.10 didn't play nice and neither did 24.04 (stable). Everything worked except games! So I installed 25.04 daily Live and it's great now. Very fast, runs well in Windows and Linux. Games in Linux are fast. The encoder in Linux using OBS doesn't seem to be as nice as Nvidia so I assume something needs fixing but overall it's great. I couldn't get the XT version at the time because it was out of stock but I'm very happy about this one. It runs cooler, it's easy to keep cool, it's still wildly fast. I paired it with an AMD 9950x and things are great. Oh, the build on this is TOP TIER. Fans, heatsink, backplate, everything. I will buy XFX -again-!

XFX Swift RX 9070 OC Triple Fan Edition

**Purchased on May 16th, 2025 at MSRP from Best Buy** I couldn't be more thrilled with my purchase of the XFX Swift RX 9070 OC Triple Fan Edition! After weeks of researching and watching prices skyrocket across other retailers—some asking as much as $750–$800 for this card—I was beyond grateful to find Best Buy selling it at full MSRP. Major props to Best Buy for not feeding the price-gouging frenzy and making top-tier gaming accessible to the rest of us. Right out of the box, this GPU impressed me with its premium build quality and sleek design. But the real magic started when I plugged it in—AMD’s Install Manager automatically detected the card and downloaded the latest drivers with zero hassle. It was seriously plug-and-play, which made setup a breeze. Performance-wise? Absolutely ecstatic. I'm consistently pulling well over 100 FPS at 1440p ultra settings in AAA titles, and it's holding strong at 4K with no stutter or hiccups. What surprised me most is how cool and quiet it runs, even under heavy load. The triple-fan setup keeps temps in check and noise levels minimal—even during extended gaming marathons. Even more impressive, I’m using this card in an eGPU setup paired with the AOOSTAR AG02 dock, and it has been flawless. Zero errors, no instability, and no bottlenecking whatsoever. The RX 9070 works seamlessly over USB4/Thunderbolt, and I’ve been amazed at how smooth the experience has been. It feels just like a native desktop install, and I can finally game and edit with full desktop-grade GPU power from my compact setup. This card delivers everything I was hoping for and more: ✅ Blazing fast FPS ✅ Whisper-quiet cooling ✅ Effortless installation ✅ Outstanding value for money ✅ Seamless eGPU performance If you're on the fence about upgrading or wondering if the RX 9070 is worth it—do it. I feel like I scored a unicorn here, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you again, Best Buy, for offering fair pricing and making this dream setup a reality!

This thing is a chonker. Massive heatsink that was clearly made for the 305W+ XT variant. Running at stock power limits I've yet to see over 64° on core and 74° on memory with default fan curve, which normalizes to a nice and quiet ~1100rpm. Second bios took a little finagling to get output from, but everything is working great. Fans shroud is very easy to remove via 6 bolts beneath the fans, revealing access to a connector for the LED if you want to disable it. Any fan replacements will be very easy on this card with no need to repaste.

XFX is a top rated brand and the RX 9070 is one of the best 1440p cards out there at this price point. This card should be playing at that resolution for a great length of time! I was very pleased to find it in stock at Best Buy at a highly competitive price! This is a big 3 fan card with a solid back plate and it stays cool with enough overhead for an overclock later. I can hear my case fans under load but not the fans on the 9070!

It runs my g8 monitor fantasticly which is what i was after. If you are looking for good frames and a good price here you are. I would say this falls in the higher end pc. Or high mid range. But i always recommend doing a deep dive before you buy. But right now with how fast it sells out… your call. Ignore my dusy pc…

Exellent card for the price. Benchmarks blow the 5070 away and you can use FSR4 on any game that uses DLSS or FSR using an app. FSR4 is incredible looks better than DLSS3 and the FG works better for me than DLSS FG at 4K 60hz. Overall I am happy with my puchase. I would have prefered an XT for 50 bucks more but it looks like pricing for the XT model is well avove MSRP.

XFX has been my go-to for AMD cards. I don't like fancy RGB, and this card with low-key lit XFX and RADEON logos looks very good. Cooling is top notch too. Never exceeds 60C under medium load.

I love the looks of this card and it performs great! Only nitpick is the fans can be loud at higher RPMs (probably due to the blade shape). But, the big cooler allows the card to run cool from just good case airflow, so making some adjustments to fan curves can mitigate the fan noise.

Good performance, very beefy cooler, runs quiet and cool. Great overclocking as well. I was able to get another 10+% performance from undervolting and increasing the power limit. However, the price is just too close to the 9070XT to justify. If the price difference is closer to $100, then this one is great!

I managed to get both this card and a 5070 at MSRP, which allowed me to test them head to head. Pros: More raw performance than a 5070. More VRAM. FSR4 is finally able to compete with DLSS. Less driver issues being reported than Nvidia right now. Cons: I prefer the Nvidia app over AMD Adrenaline software. FSR4 lacks support in games. Significantly worse performance than the 5070 in professional applications. Right now, I think that the 5070 is a better product, given the widespread support for DLSS4. However, if/when FSR4 receives more widespread support, this card should age much better, and have a longer expected lifespan than the 5070. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee.

Absolutely amazing graphics card, im going to have to upgrade my monitors soon because it obliterates 1080p, Cyberpunk 2077 ~100fps avg native 1080p ultra with full raytracing, less demanding games like Fragpunk, Cs2, Valorant, hold an easy 400-500+ avg on highest settings depending on map and gamemode, overall an amazing card.

For $550, this is the currently best value 1440p GPU with the ability to stretch into 4k. The XFX Swift card has a cooler that seems way more than what is needed to keep everything cool, so temps are great and the fans don't need to spin up that much.

This card has been nothing short of amazing. Have had no issues with it at all. Out of the box has great thermals in a dual chamber case. I went a step further and over clocked and undervolted it and no issues or crashes. Is amazing for 1440p gaming. And to grab it at MSRP was the proverbial cherry on top.

AMD's latest generation of cards is awesome, and XFX's OC model here is a great choice. I had no issues replacing my old drivers with the latest Radeon drivers and I am very satisfied with its performance. Hopefully the prices will come down eventually, but this is still decent value for the current market and its performance is good compared to competitors.
