The steel book is an automatic way of showing your love for this, or any movie, honestly. The photos on the front & back of the case are amazing. The photos on the inside of the case are well placed. Over all, would buy it again. It’s so well done.

I saw this film at the theaster, liked it so much I had to buy the Blu-ray when it came available. Full movie, not an adaption of TV Show Series.

This is one of those movies that you can never gain the feeling of awe and the surprise of "aha" moments after you watch it for the first time. It has the merit to be redone live action of course but the animation is beautiful and the music great. Hard to explain why I love it but it has the power to draw you in and wrench you with emotions. I certainly found myself yelling at the screen at times. It has a sci fi feel in explanation/cause but full on drama and emotional storyline. It tops my list for the top 20 animes I find the best, maybe even in the top 10.

This is, without a doubt, one of the greatest animated films of this generation. Breathtaking visuals, top-notch voice acting, and a truly heartfelt story work together to bring an experience that will withstand the test of time as a true classic. There are still times, long after my initial viewing, when I think of Your Name and either get emotional because of the story’s impact or marvel because of how well-done it is. Do yourself a favor and please experience this film.

For those looking for a riveting film and a stylish one at that, look no further: "Your Name" is that movie. The animators bring to life in spectacular fashion a story of love, loss, and hope as experienced through the eyes of a high school girl and boy who mysteriously switch bodies. They each learn to see the world through the other's eyes, which makes not only for an amusing viewing but also a thematically poignant and timely one. DO NOT MISS THIS!!!

I can't recall how many times I've already watched this movie since it was released, it's so good! If your looking for an romance, then this is the movie for you. Over the course of the movie, it teaches us that there's no such thing as boundaries when you truly fall in love someone. Lastly, if you haven't already, you should definitely check out other of Makoto Shinkai's films after this movie.

So I had a coworker tell me to watch Devilman Crybaby... which made me a crybaby. Man that series is depressing. So I wanted to watch something more happy, and 'Your Name' sure cured me. What a just adorable movie this is. It reminds me of what it would be like if a Hayao Miyazaki film shamelessly manipulated you into enjoying its love story. I mean that in the best way possible.

This is one of the best animated movies out there! I loved it from start to finish. If you love the characters and fantasy/ sci-fi element. It really adds another layer to the great story! It’s beautifully animated and voice acting is amazing. If you like animated features then you have to check this out!

The story is funny and at first, feels like a romantic comedy, but it has a moment that turns it's genre into something much more. I always liked anime but I never went out of my way to watch it. This movie gave me a new appreciation for anime. I've actually used this movie to get others into anime as well.

The animation and art direction are brilliant in this film, and the picture quality of the Blu-ray is excellent.

I went in completely blind to this movie and was not disappointed. While the story can be a bit strange and some might not enjoy it as much, the detail of the animation is something I’d never seen before. This is easily one of the best looking, most detailed 2d animated shows I have ever seen.

WOW. What a great movie. I didn't have any expectation going into it but I am glad. This movie was well told and animation was breathtaking. Voice actors did an amazing job carrying the story across. It was nominated for 4 awards for a reason. Go ahead and buy it for yourself.

Right up front, this movie is absolutely gorgeous. The stunning visuals are complimented with a fun love story with a twist. There were definitely a few “I’m not crying, you’re crying” moments. This is one movie that will be in my rotation for a long time.

I'm not very big into anime; however, this was just wonderful! Beautiful story line, beautifully drawn, shot.. whatever. Overall, just excellent. I really enjoyed it. Humor, emotion, "action" if you will. I would highly suggest this to anyone and everyone.

Your Name (Kimi no Na wa) is - in my humble opinion - one of the greatest anime films ever made. Is it perfect? Definitely not, but the emotional power of this film overshadows the plot sometimes becoming a little too lofty for its own good. And my goodness, it might be the most beautiful anime I have ever seen. It's gorgeous and on my 65 in 4k TV, I felt completely immersed in the world that Shinkai has created. Don't hesitate to buy this. The ending is so emotionally satisfying that I have seen it before, and was still on the edge of my seat, heart pounding. Looking forward to whatever the director decides to make next (he hasn't made a bad movie yet). Go get this!!

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. I'm going to avoid some of the problems I have with the overall plot to avoid spoilers, but there are some issues. That said, a lot of the movie feels very genuine. The animation is beautiful and smooth. And there was a lot of heart to the story. It approaches the typical love story in a way I haven't seen too often, and it handles the entire thing well. Certainly worth checking out.

I'm a pretty casual anime fan. I've seen most of Studio Ghibli movies, Akira, and maybe a dozen of other anime features. Don't watch any shows. Stumbled across this just by chance and glad I did! From an animation standpoint, I've never seen anything better! Not just in anime, but all animated films. CoMix Wave Films animation studio attention to detail and use of colors is really out-of-this-world (Garden of Words by same studio and director/writer is another example)! Original music for the movie by a Japanese band called Radwimps and the orchestra score are all great and go well with scenes in the movie. English voice-overs are also top notch for an anime. The story is the best part but I don't want to give anything away beyond the description of the movie which doesn't really do the movie justice. Honestly, the description is why I almost didn't give this movie a chance to begin with but at least it gives you a clue or starting point on what the movie is about. Really makes the movie not sound special...but it is! Had a couple big twists that I didn't see coming is all I will say. Only thing I would say negative (if you can call it that) about it is it's more of a teenager age and up movie. It isn't "My Neighbor Totoro" where it is more aimed at kids. Not because there is nudity, violence, and language, but kids will just have a hard time staying interested with the story. I just mention that as I could see that being a negative review for the movie. All in all, I recommend this if you like anime or animation films in general.
